Hi, I am new here and I'm so glad that I found this site. I'm hoping someone on here has either had the same experience or can help me with mine. I started playing at Riverbelle in May using Click2pay. When I first started I was having my deposits taken out of my savings account with click2pay but my bank would only allow a certain amount of transactions per month unknown to me. Click2pay contacted me about this because one of my deposits didn't work so I arranged for future transactions to be taken out of my checking, no problems. 2 or more months later I receive a e-mail from click2pay that I owe them $100.00 and if I did not wire them the money immediately they will turn it over to collection department. I had no idea what they were talking about. I had no idea that I still owed them any money. No warning, nothing. I told them that I would check back to May and see if my bank did indeed do this. After many hours of looking at bank statements i finally gave up and e-mailed them that yes it's possible that I do owe them $100.00 and would like to pay them but I was not able to wire money to Germany. My bank does not do this sort of transacations. I tried everything I could think of to get this money wired to them with no success. In the meantime, click2pay is continuely sending me very nasty e-mails which so upset me that I finally had my husband call someone on the phone and try to resolve this matter. Even then they insisted on a wire transfer which my husband tried to tell them that we are not able to do this but are very much willing to send a check, money order or have it taken out of my bank account like they had been doing all along. They finally did withdrawl it out of the saving account again with $10.00 added to the $100.00 for some reason. This has been several weeks ago and I thought the whole matter had been resolved but last night I get a phone call from a gentlement from a collection agency calling on behalf of click2pay asking me how I was going to repay the $200.00 that I owe click2pay. Well, needless to say, I was speechless. I explained to him all of the above and he wanted a copy of my bank statement e-mailed to him showing where this was taken out of my saving account which I did. I'm sure this is not over yet. He will more than likely call again and tell me that this proof is not good enough. Has anyone had an experience like this and if so was it resolved. Any help that you can give me on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Needless to say I will never use click2pay again. I have never in my life been treated and talked to like those people there talked to me, like I was a complete idiot. Such rudeness is just inexcuseable. Thanks for reading and sorry for the long post.

That is very stupid of Click2Pay, in my opinion. Why not contact the customer and politely ask for the money owed first? Use the "pay us now or else!!" stuff when nothing else is working.

Sorry I can't help, but reading this kind of T'd me off against Click2Pay.

i have used click2pay in the past, everytime i used them i had a phonecall from the fraud the department in the bank to verify the transaction, i would tell them that it is me making the transactions and they dont need to call me.

now the worrying thing is, that if i ever make a large deposit at a casino for the first time, i will get a phonecall from the bank due to the nature of the transaction, however after i tell them it was me, i dont get anymore phonecalls when making further deposits with same casino.so i presume the bank puts them down on a "safe" list for me

but with click2pay they insisted on verifying everysingle transaction even very small ones. i quickly got the impression from this and from something the guy said to me from the bank (cant remember excatly now) that my bank has had a lot of problems with this firm in the past. because of this i have stoped using click2pay altogether now.

neteller is best

i think neteller is the best way to deposit to casinos some casinos even dont undersand this (888.com)

Click2Pay double charged me a few times as well and it was hell trying to get them to sort out the mess. I sent them all the proof that they wanted that it was actually their fault and still they tried to put the blame on me.

Do not pay them the money unless you are POSITIVE that you actually owe it to them!!

Once you have this sorted out.. use a different payment method!

888.com are a joke when it comes to banking, they have entered into a multimillion pound sponsorship deal with my local football club, carry extensive advertising in the UK national press and exploit a loophole in law by sponsoring TV programs so they can advertise on british TV. so for all these millions 's they have spent, do they take GBP, no they dont. when i asked why they didnt take GBP i was told "no respectable casino would ever take GBP, if you play at them you do so at your own risk". then i was payed out by them with a cheque, which when cashed left me in the horrible position of owing the bank more money than the cheque was worth. this casino is a joke and i have never played there since.

Has anyone here ever had a collection department call them or has it always just been thru click2pay. This is very scary. It makes me feel like I'm a criminal or something.

Trouble

I note you posted this thread on 10th August. Click2Pay made changes at the end of July, but neglected to inform users. What happened to me was different. My account is funded by a connected card, however the transaction will fail if the card company declines the transaction. I found that my card was being deducted in US$ from 29th July, whereas it had always been GBP before. Since I was depositing in GBP at the casino, and my Click2Pay acount was in GBP and my Click2Pay log for the transactions specified GBP I could not see any legitimate reason for deducting US$ from my card where GBP was deducted before. The explanation I got from Click2Pay is that the changes were due to an increase in the fees card companies were charging Click2Pay. This would be a legitimate reason to charge a transaction fee, but is NO excuse to use currency manipulation to artificially generate a fee at point of transfer from the card.
After over 2 weeks of complaining, and telling them Click2Pay was of no further use to me they have refunded the fees during the time I was unaware of the changes, they have admitted that the "Free" option of funding the account by bank transfer is "well hidden" on the website. I have assurances that they will try to me more transparent, and that they will try to resolve such issues.
You should ask to be put in contact with Martin Osterloh, who is higher up the pecking order in the support department. I am now having positive dialogue via E-mail.
Pre-funding is free at the Click2Pay end, and if you ask for all cards and accounts to be disconnected and only use prefunded amounts this problem of owing money should not happen. To reconcile statements to determine whether you really owe the money you can view the transaction log in the Click2Pay website. You can copy & paste this into MS Word, where it will appear as a table, you can then format it at leisure and check each transaction marked "Deposit" against your bank statements.
I have used Click2Pay at Microgaming, and the screen will tell you the source Click2Pay will be using for the deposit "CC" means it will come from the connected card, and "FUNDS" means that the full amount is already available in your Click2Pay account.

Neteller is far from perfect, I am just having different problems there!. Click2Pay is a useful backup. I will most likely make use of them now that I have received good positive responses from Martin.

It's a pity that you need to get "aggressive" with CS before someone in management starts to see something as a real issue!

IF Click2Pay were a casino, I would consider "probation" for a couple of months, not Rogue. There must certainly be issues if the bank is "touchy" about Click2Pay transactions.
