OK, as the title says, we’ve migrated to a new server and site development environment! Two years in the making this has been and it’s great to be able to say that we’ve finally arrived!

We're still fine-tuning, so do tell us if anything looks off or if you have suggestions — we'll be happy to hear them and address them.

What this means for Casinomeister

As many of you will have observed not much in the way of new/modern features have appeared on these forums in quite some time. The migration — which began as soon as Gentoo bought Casinomeister — had to freeze all such development until the migration effort was complete. And now it is! So now we can expect:
  • new features.
  • in time, better performance.
  • the UIUX to evolve.
  • us to finally be able to deliver some of the features you’ve been asking for.

What we ask of you

First and foremost please report any bugs, glitches, WTFs you see. Replying here is a great place to do that.

Second, hit us with any feature requests — large or small — that you’d like to see, must have, think would be cool, etc. Again, here is probably a good place for that.
• please keep in mind that we can’t promise delivery times on these, but they will absolutely be taken seriously in our ongoing development plans.

Ok, that’s pretty much it. Welcome to Casinomeister 3.0: The Gentoo Era.

Yup, we’re all seeing it. Dev guys are aware and working on it.

Yup, these Gateway issues are related to the laggy speed, I think, both should be improved now (done within the last 15 mins).

navigation is much slower yes

First of all CONGRATS whole team, that's one of the points that seemed neverending :D.. anyway I've tested forum and no-forum URLS and no issues found, perhaps a slower navigation experience over Forum Pages but nothing (at least using my Macbook and my Spanish IP) to be worried about. Seems previous features working fine ( geo IP blocking CTA's, etc...).

Salut!

Now seems to be loading as fast as it was before. Was very slow yesterday.

Has the image loading on the threads switched to in-view/lazy loading?

It makes sense to save bandwith with all the images that are uploaded and traffic you must get but will look like a delay/slower to unfamiliar users.

Also your accredited casinos list only has 5 casino showing and the images take slightly longer to upload when attaching files (this one is only 24kb before uploading but had the same delay as screenshot from yesterday).

all scams

Older activity shows fine under latest actvity on profile but older post info under Postings is not shown for posts before the upgrade.

Well, Monday's come and gone and it's still slow as fck...

Loading a thread with screenshots is almost like the good old days on dialup.
Yeah it's oddly slower than it was when I made my previous comment on Friday.

Seemed back to normal for me when I commented then but today pages have loaded slower like they were when it went live.

FWIW the slow response times have been reported many times now. DevOps says that they’ll do some major tweaking on Wednesday (tomorrow). Fingers crossed.

That said, many thanks for all the feedback here.

Not that i care that the image was removed, just wondering why was it removed?
I figured it would be ok to post since it didnt actually show anything 'naughty'.

Whats next, are you gonna start removing images posted by the nudists that frequent this site as well?
:P

Whenever opening a thread that you've previously viewed to see new posts, the thread starts at the top then scrolls down to the newest post (for you). Totally unnecessary to do this and it only adds to the performance issues.

I was going to post a video showing this but I cannot be arsed uploading it to YT first.

I thought of my boss checking the forums and seeing that and wondered what I would tell him in defence of me leaving it as it was. “It wasn’t actually naughty” was one of the excuses that came to mind and that's not a position I want to be taking. The point is that I found it borderline inappropriate in this “official” CM thread and I’d rather not go there. I figured we’d both survive the take-down and so that’s what I did.

:D Um, yes, exactly!

Fair enough, it will take some time but i will hopefully make a full recovery.
I actually edited the gif before posting it, the original also stopped before showing anything but it got very very close. =)

 I am relieved. ;)

We thank you for your sacrifice. :D

I see nobody has mentioned the Search function on the site.
It has imo always been a bit wonky, but it has become worse now.

Went to search for the 1000x thread by searching for titles only and putting '1000x' as the search.
No results.
Tried searching for winner screenshots to see if the one from this month would show up.
One result from back in December 2025.

Unless im doing something wrong the search function is a bit broken.

We believe the issue with the Search is that it takes time to reindex after a site re-start.
The re-index should now have been done.
For instance now if I search for the “1000x” I get results going back to 2014.
And if I Search for my own posts I get the max search results, 200 or whatever it is set to.

I'm not sure if this is the kind of issue you mean, but I got this error twice when trying to visit this site earlier.

"An exception occurred: [ErrorException] [E_WARNING] pack(): Type H: illegal hex digit in src/addons/AddonsLab/Licensing/Encoder.php on line 22"

I only just discovered this when trying to find the name of the Shady Lady rep on here. I searched for Shady Lady and it only returned results from the most recent thread on this provider. Then I saw your post above.

Yes, exactly, good for us to know. TY.
