Ok, this is now 2 months in a row they have cancled the Blackjack tournament!!!
I dont see the Slot tournaments cancled. Some of us lookforward to that as we might just win (as i have placed a few times in it)

This i just BS and i am getting sick of it!!

casino action

Yeah with the blackjack tournaments always being canceled , well they have canceled them the last 2 months. Has made me just want to delete this group off my computer. And not to mention the other things i just find odd.

I like this group of casinos because they have so many .01 games but really its just not worth the agrivation anymore. I have signed up at 32red and plan on giving them a shot this weekend!

Update

I have contacted VIP support and received confirmation that the Blackjack tournament has been cancelled, the excuse this month is that they are going to launch a new tournament with the prize being a trip to Las Vegas. I have reminded them of the inconsistency with the excuse last month (script failure), and also asked why no announcement has yet been made despite the desision appearing to have been made some time ago (possibly as early as last months' "script failure"). I see no reason why designing a new format necessarily required the current one to be cancelled as there is no clash of dates.
There may be an official response from Casino Action as they asked for details as to where to find this thread. I have drawn attention to the fact that discontent is not limited to the issue of the Blackjack tournament, but many other things are going wrong and having an impact on players having any trust in what they are told any more. As their offerings are not exactly brilliant compared to the competition, they will need to throw money at getting the older players back again once they have found better places to play that offer more value (you can't get worse that 20x slots WR; although 15x is now common).

Casino Action

Yeah I am just ready to give up on them. What gets me is they advertised the BJ tournament up until what 2-3 days before they cancled it???

They still should have ran it, and put a message up for next month that the BJ tournament will be changing next month or whatever.
As for a trip to Vegas I could care less..lol I have a river boat 3 hours away, and its not that much $$$$ to plan a trip to vegas.

This is part of a email i received:
The reason the blackjack competition has been cancelled is because we are currently in the process of creating a brand new format for the tournament. Because of the changes, we haev had to cancel the current tournament so we can go through the process of creating a new competition. More information on this will be released to players in the next few weeks.

The reason we have not cancelled any of the slot tournaments recently is because we have not changed the current competitions lately.

Please understand that the reason we are improving the blackjack tournament is so players can enjoy it more in the future.

Thank you for your patience during this time, I am sure you will enjoy the new blackjack competition.

IMO they knew the BJ competition was not going to take place, so why was it advertised all month then just disappeared 2-3 days before it was suppose to run?? All of us that did play BJ during the month thinking we would get to play...well i just feel deceived

Crap

If that's from Vinoka I have been lied to last month. I was told that the tournament WOULD go ahead this time, and that all players who qualified will automatically be entered without having to qualify through December.
There is no reason to cancel a tournament because a new format is being CONSIDERED. This runs for ONE HOUR each month, not every day as the slots tournaments do. Whatever the real reason for cancelling the BJ is, we have not been told the whole truth.

Bear this in mind:-

End November onwards - Bonus accunt abolished & all bonuses in real account

December - BJ cancelled without notice on the day.
January - BJ Cancelled without notice even though they admit to having known it would not run at least since the E-mail quoted above.

February - BJ relaunched with NON CASH prize!!!!!!

I rather suspect it has something to do with the $1,200 being REAL money albeit with a WR. With the bonus accounts the $1,200 could never actually be withdrawn under any of the bonus account models and thus was not ever a real prize. Note also the reduction of prizes in the Tuesday tournament compared with the other 4 (Noted by a previous poster).

I have received this now from them:-

"Thank you for contacting Aztec Riches Casino.

Thank you for your comments and assistance in this matter. I have now forwarded this onto our marketing department for consideration.

I do apologize once again for any inconvenience this has caused you."

This is normally followed by no respose from management or marketing, and seems to indicate my comments will simply go on file and may or may not influence future marketing decisions.

What happened to their "We have listened to our players, and in the light............. have changed the format of the 10K Giveaway"

Given the furore over the cancellation of the BJ last month, have they listened to their players by cancelling again with 2 days to the off, and not announcing this to any players but leaving them to find out the hard way as usual for this group. It's not new CS, it's the same names as always, so lack of experience is no excuse.

Perhaps we should cancel making deposits this month as we are "evaluating a better way to fund our casino accounts, and it has been necessary to cease playing in the mean time". Also, "We didn't play in December due to an OS problem on our PC's, (not that this stopped us running our regular everyday software)"

Incidentally, even affiliates have not been told of this cancellation in advance, but HAVE been told in the past that improvements to the BJ tournament will result in it running MORE frequently than at present, and probably at weekends. It is difficult to keep websites up to date without the relevant information, although I have added the cancellation notice for the BJ to mine having found out about it the "hard way".
The first time something serious happens at this group, such as non-payment of winnings, and gets aired along with these gripes, I can see serious leakage of players to other MG outlets that offer similar events (or have in the past), which would be the likes of Trident Lounge and Jackpot Factory, and possibly Casino Rewards (issues here though). 32Red occasionally do slots challenges in pretty much the same style as Casino Action, but with bigger prizes, and only a 3x/5x WR on them!

Well said!!

That is the actual email i received from Vinoka. So vinylweatherman you have not been the only one that was lied to as i was also told the same thing as you regarding the December BJ competition

All in all this has been complete BS. I spoke with the Adriches rep and she says they have no control over these competitions so I guess we need a response from casino action.

I have not made a deposit at this group of casinos yet this year because I am just sick of the ways some things are done there. I am very sure that another casino will welcome me with open arms :)

Oh btw be sure to check out todays scoreboard for the slot competition lol it will give you a laugh.

Noted.

Dear Deborah, that 10K has NO WAGERING REQUIREMENT, (unless that was a lie too!). I once made the mistake of playing what I could not withdraw from Phoenician due to the 10K per week limit, and lost much of it:mad:

Another reason not to deposit here is that Deborah is likely to be hitting the tourneys for a few days yet. better off having a crack at the free Telly at All Slots in 3 weeks time:D

I have detailed Casino Action tournament records dating back to late 2004, and data of my own Wheel of Cash bonuses at 6 accounts for the same length. These data will be utilised as a BS repellant if any is spotted in the coming weeks:)

Oh - I nearly forgot

Give them the benefit, last time they swore that players could find out by a message on chat if they wanted to query this:-

Er - Nope:confused:

As to my comments, on file as predicted, no reply, and seemingly issue not important enough to prompt rep to appear here as yet!

8 mins to go now before all hell breaks loose as non Casinomeister players make a Coffee, turn on the PC (having left work early in some cases), log on to BJ accounts at 6pm and find them not working as last time!

Casinomeister players will be doing something else, like discusing this farcical situation here.

Casino Action

Sure looks like all is the way it should be tonight lol
Played BJ so i could have my chance at that big prize but I guess us table players dont get our competition this month. I am sure glad they lead us to beleive all month long and last month as well that there would be one.

I feel pretty sure this competition was gone back in November, but hey let those People keep playing BJ to earn a entry for somthing we wont be offering.

And yes it was so nice of Casino Action to let people know it was yet again canceled. IMO anyone that earned a entry should have found $10 in there account. But what do they care, they are just loosing players!

I guess those that got replies from Vinoka are lucky. I just got a generic reply from CS.

It should be noted that, about 3 months or so ago when they cancelled the Wednesday & Saturday 30 minute draws (has it been 3 months?), I contacted support immediately and asked what happened to them. They told me they were in the PROCESS of making new and better Wednesday/Saturday promotions.....well, looking at the Casino Action page, you can of course see that that was BS as well. This should give you an idea of how long we can expect to wait for the the new, "improved" BJ tournament.

As far as the wheel of cash is concerned......since they abolished the bonus accounts, I have made 12 deposits in 2 different CA casinos....none of those deposits netting me a cash in. And, not one single wheel of cash spin for me. And 10 of those deposits were for $100+. In my experience with casino action....this is by far the longest dry spell ever for not getting the spins. I have requested a bonus in my account because of this and the cancelling of the BJ tournament, but Im sure I will get denied.

If I dont get some sort of bonus for depositing and playing the last 2 months....in hopes of getting a prize in the BJ tourney I will close all my accounts with them as well. Right now just trying to get my 940 points to 1000:D

Casino Action

Good luck funeralparty I hope you get a bonus, btw nice to see a fellow online gambler so close! i have not changed my profile yet but i live in the Houston area as well.

Hey we always have the "isle of the capri" actually i do rather well when i go there, and you cant beat free drinks, smokes and that all you can eat buffet lol

Bah! They offered me a 50% bonus on my next deposit. I used to get free bonuses in my account all the time when they had the bonus accounts, but not anymore. They say my bonus rate is too high (44%). And STILL not even a comment on the no show wheel of cash:what:

Ive only been to Isle once and didn't do well there. I usually go to Grand Casino Coushatta in Kinder when I make a trip to Lousianna. About 45 minutes further but worth the trip!

Rubbish, Crap, etc

I was once told my bonus rate was over 80%!!!!
Total Rubbish, what was over 80% is the rate of bonuses as a cashback on LOSSES, not as a percentage of DEPOSITS.
They also include the tournament prizes as bonuses too, even though one has to wager first, THEN wager the prize 20x once received, so they are worse than most deposit bonuses.
You didn't receive the Wheel because it is rigged and your bonus rate of 44% means it is severely suppressed (you might get the odd $15 to make you think it random). I rather suspect they tie your accounts together in some way too, but not too certain of this.
I have done horribly at these casinos, despite the "generous" bonuses. The BJ is the chance for all players, including the low rollers, to have a pot at a big $1200 bonus without the need to deposit $1200 or more (fun then can be had meeting WR in the slots tournaments).
As I said before, all the "Action" is disappearing faster than it is appearing, and the total package continues to fall in appeal.
The only good points remaining are:-

Instant Neteller payments
Suitable for low rollers with the 50c tables and 1c slots (which are 25c in most other MGs). [pence for cents here in UK].

When they announce a new promotion, they must excuse us for not believing what is stated at face value, and expect to be badgered for clarification upon clarification in writing from pretty much all Casinomeister players.

" Hi,
This new BJ prize, Las Vegas you say.

That's Vegas in the USA isn't it?
The flights, definitely an aeroplane then?
We will be staying in Vegas, not some cheap motel 100 miles away and bussed in daily?
This holiday will be credited to our REAL lives for our enjoyment won't it, none of this being credited in our dreams and being non-enjoyable once we awaken:D

Thanks, see you at Guantanamo airport for the flight then:D

Tomb Raider tournament problems??

Ok, another complaint from this Casino Inaction group. Did anyone happen to check out the winners in the Tomb Raider tournament yesterday? Scoreboard looked quite odd to say the least! The wager amounts were MUCH higher than usual for this particular tourney or any other by this group for that matter.

But the oddest thing was that my name was on this list....listing me as a winner and having wagered in excess of $10,000!!! Im sure it was me because for the past year I have never seen another similar name on the leaderboards. Well, I can assure you that I never wagered a dime on Tomb Raider yesterday. Soooooo.....another Casino Action "glitch"? I wonder if ANYONE got credited for winning the tournament yesterday. Even though it listed me as a prize winner, I never received a prize:mad: (of course I didn't deserve it....but I DID have an awful session at Aztec Riches last nite:D )

I might need that BS repellent....

Ok, so I just finished having a chat with CS, and they assured me that the scoreboard was indeed correct for the Tomb Raider tournament. Anyone who has been playing at Casino Action for any length of time, and follows the slot tournaments can surely agree with me that the final wager totals yesterday were VERY high. I am sure they are not correct....even though "Darren" confirmed that they were with VIP services.

He then told me that the name on the leaderboard that was mine....was in fact not me (even though I have never seen another of my name on the leaderboard EVER in the past year....unless of course it was me). Also, my name climbed over $10,000 in wagering within a span of 3 hours and 15 minutes. Not impossible (or is it?....haven't done the math)......but HIGHLY improbable.

Can we even trust that these tournaments are run fairly??

I failed to mention the most damning evidence in this whole tournament farce.
When support told me that it was not me with the same first name and last initial....and that I had not won, they told me that I had not won because my score was only 358, meaning I had wagered 358 on Tomb Raider on Tuesday. However, as I mentioned above, I did not wager ONE CENT on this game yesterday. This proves there is something seriously amiss with the tournaments. Are they rigged just as the wheel of cash? Did Deborah S. really get first place in all these tournaments.....in fact, does she even exist?!?!

It is very odd. It could be a farce. Or maybe there is a bug or rules ambiguity that some people are exploiting. Or the winners list doesn't reflect the real results for some reason. Or they've got some high rollers (very high), and one has the same name as you.

Did you wager 358 on another game?

I wish that mysterious Deborah S would materialize here.

I don't think I even wagered $358 TOTAL the entire day yesterday. I had a very bad run and thus a very short session. It just doesn't look right. In the past year, there has NEVER been a finished leaderboard with every score 9000+. Not even CLOSE. Plus, I would imagine Tomb Raider is getting less action lately becuase of the reduced prizes.

Its my guess that there was some sort of glitch and Casino Inaction doesn't want to admit it. After all, I believe the excuse for the first cancelled BJ tournament was a problem of some sort with the scoreboard.

Or perhaps they have made up alot of "ghost" players who take the top prizes in these tournaments.

I still have my doubts about Deborah S. Right after she won that $10,000 prize, she managed about 12 BIG hits on various slot games, all of these $5,000+ . Some over 10 grand. All of these within a 24 hour period. There have been days when I have spent maybe 4-5 hours fooling around in FUN mode playing max bet and only managed maybe 4 or 5 hits of $5,000+. What are the odds that she could hit that many in a one day span??

Casino Action

I wonder about Deborah S as well. with that stupid 10k a week max cashin she is gonna spend the next 2 months cashing in lol (thats is she is even real)

I am just going to take my gaming elsewhere. Going to try 32red this weekend with that nice $100 match they have and if hope there slots are as nice to me as they were in "fun mode" lol

Tournaments

1 Cynthia. C 46954 $250
2 James. C 31600 $200
3 Stacie. P 30690 $150
4 Gary. C 17502 $100
5 Gene. H 15067 $100
6 Chris. C 14889 $50
7 Evelyn. F 13290 $50
8 Katherine. C 12720 $50
9 David. R 10928 $25
10 Jinah. L 9087 $25

This does look high, however it seems that Tomb Raider has a following, and this has occurred before:-

Score 15/11/2005
1 78689 Gene H
2 54171 Melanie C
3 39687 Tina W
4 22080 Sue P
5 21660 Sylvia S
6 14903 Robert I
7 11904 Darren L
8 8483 Daniel M
9 6608 Jan N
10 6090 Brandyce F

Seems even more was wagered this time by the top 10. I was placed in a tournament last week myself without having played, but then noticed I had moved to the States as well:D
Looks like that first name and initial does not give a unique identifier, and they are not adding fields to prevent this. Players from the States are likely to be the first to "benefit" from this confusion. Possibly these players were given invitational deposit bonuses and used the tournament to execute the WR?
There are numerous bugs in the scoring system, but these normally result in scores being too low! If a correction is made to the scoreboard it is never posted, although the prizes are adjusted.
The phantom wagering is another bug where wagering outside the tournament timeframe somehow gets carried forward into it.
I don't think they use ghost players though, there are regular players who know the ins and outs of how these contests work, and occasinonally nearly all will decide to hit the same tournament; it's then a matter of Psychology as to who will turn chicken or fight for position anyway. The biggest surprise is the non appearance of Deborah S.

There is no point playing today either!!
1 Marianne. S 119667 $400 :eek2:
2 Jason. T 11250 $300
3 Michael. G 8159 $200
4 Marcus. W 8107 $150
5 Alvaro. P 6340 $120
6 Sylvia. S 5085 $100
7 Alexander. O 4250 $80
8 Cynthia. L 4154 $60
9 Paul. K 3810 $50
10 Paula. B 2955 $40

Still no Deborah, so perhaps she has managed to cash the lot out now!

The tournaments that overall offer the best chance are the Slots Sunday, and often Friday Fever. Total wagering tends to be lower, and top prizes in Slots Sunday have often fallen to wagers of less than $5000 let alone $10000.

I have noted a general increase in scores since the abolition of bonus accounts, leading to the prizes being withdrawable as well as the winnings (if any) from them. This change also means that further capture of my bonus VS deposits, losses data is made far more difficult. Fortunately, the change has also rendered this new data incompatable with the old series, as the nature of the bonuses has changed from sticky/phantom to real. (I would expect the casinos to give less, and this is looking like the case at present, not that they admit it!)

While it is entirely possible for someone with my same first name and last initial to be playing, it just seems to be improbable for them to all of a sudden come from nowhere to then have wagered well over 10K on Tomb Raider. Believe me, I follow all these tournaments and draws very closely, and you do see the same names pop up time and time again. But I have never seen my name and last initial anywhere....except when it was actually me.

And none of this explains where they have me wagering 358 on Tomb Raider....which I never did. I don't think I have wagered on this game since Sunday. Surely thir scoreboard cannot be that screwy?? But then again, this IS Casino Inaction.

And so far, the Thunderstruck scoreboard is starting to look suspicious as well...

Casino Action

Perhaps they should open a sportbook so we can bet on the outcome rather than play in them ourselves

That is a good idea lol, as for that BS repellent seems we need a lot of that these days with this group.

That was the final scores!!!!!!

It looked alot different earlier in the day. The last place score was around 1900.

Vinyl, would you mind asking them if that was the correct final scores on the leaderboard? Curious to see if they will lie to you, like they BLATANTLY lied to me about the Tomb Raider scores.

And I was thinking about depositing tonite and maybe take a shot at the Slots Sunday.........NOT

Scores

Ha,
Don't think I am letting them off the hook on this one!!!

If you could only see the toing and froing (might be tempted to post it later:D ) you might piss your pants with too much laughter:lolup:

No, these scores ARE wrong due to a technical hitch. (One that seems to have REMOVED points already added - this is new!).

Nevertheless, they assure be that the prizes have been correctly awarded......

....excecpt...

Support have NO ACCESS to the CORRECT SCORES till Monday when tech staff get back!!!!!!!

How they pulled off this remarkable feat of clairvoyance I do not know; and await Monday's explanation with baited breath.

As for Slot Sunday - Remember, the "technical glitch" will NOT get fixed till MONDAY. so, like with the BJ tournament that had to be cancelled at short notice due to a technical failure, Slot Sunday.... IS STILL GOING AHEAD:lolup:

Finally

I have now had a responce after firing a couple of reminders off today. All issues have been addressed apart from the Blackjack Tournament being cancelled without notice.
Everything appears to be running OK now, and it seems this was a bug on Friday only, and didn't make a mess of Slot Sunday after all.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi <vinyl>,
Thanks for your email, I will take this opportunity to clarify things for you.
Firstly, with the Friday Fever scoreboard, we have found where the slight error was. As per your request, the winners are as follows:

Name Score
Deborah. S 124400
Marianne S. 80714
Gene H. 19400
Judy A. 11600
Jason T. 10880
Evelyn F. 8252
Renato T. 8152
Robert. B 7898
Nora. T 6855
Jonny. P 5651

With regards to your comments about 'house' players, namely Deborah, I can assure you that this is quite an inconceiveable concept for us to even consider. It is unethical and in fact unnecessary and pointless.

<edit personal part of reply removed>

I can assure you that she is indeed very real indeed (just like all our other players like yourself), and one of the biggest players in the casino at the moment.
With regards to Turbo Charged Tuesday and Power Poker, you are actually looking at the incorrect information. That site you are looking at is actually a portal for our casinos and has not been updated with the correct information.
The correct competition information for our casinos can be found in the Casino Action section of your casino software, please refer to this for the correct information.
Regarding the wheel of cash, it appears that there is a bit of confusion with exactly how the wheel of cash works. The purpose of the wheel is to give players a little surprise while playing. Something that all players are eligible for without having to make a deposit. It is just an extra addition to our casino that other casinos don't have.

We do not guarantee that players will receive a certain number of spins per day or per week. The wheel is in fact random. It is random in which player it gives a spin to and it is random with how much it spins up. Players can get lucky and receive the spin a number of times a day or not receive it at all.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Vinoka <representing the management response>

Aztec Riches Casino VIP Support

LOL....she must have had that little memo about the wheel of cash on her desk ready and waiting. I must say that I shot her an email last week, and got that very same reply. As I matter of fact, I told her I was going to take my business elsewhere.....and pointed her towards this forum so that she could make some improvements within the group. She did manually give me a spin at Aztec Riches and Phoenician, as an "act of good faith". Which I managed a $15 and $20....didn't last very long:D

Well, either I got very lucky or someone at Casino Action wanted to keep me as a player, because on my next deposit (of $150)....I got ANOTHER spin. Wasn't expecting one...seeing as Vinoka pointed out that my bonus rate was "well over other VIPs"

Anyways, I was treated to a $500 spin......my biggest yet! May have to eat my words on those free spins...

I remember about 6 months ago.....I logged into Aztec Riches....and the wheel of cash popped up. Landed on $25. Again the wheel popped up....and I managed another $25. On the 6th consecutive wheel I started to get excited....thinking I might be treated to the maximum of 8 per day...

By the time spin 14 went by.....again landing on $25....I thought something might be amiss, so I contacted support and asked them why $350 wasn't credited to my bonus account:D

After being put on hold for almost 15 minutes I was told that I had only been "allocated" 1 wheel of cash spin for $25.

Random indeed:thumbsup:

Blackjack - Excuse #2

"Basically, the one scheduled for December was cancelled due to technical problems we were having with the scripting. We did intend to run in January as scheduled, however we were forced to cancel it as if it was run, the data would have conflicted with the new Blackjack tournament we will be having. The new tournament is tentatively scheduled for the very end of next month, or early March - once it has been thoroughly developed and tested."

Oh Perllease:confused:

Data conflict with a tournament due to run in 2 months time:what: , ever heard of the "delete" function. Many of us know what to do with old data if a new format is launched - purge it and start again! I cannot understand the need to cancel, it was the last run of the old format anyway, so the data continuation didn't matter. Surely there would be "data conflict" from the ones run earlier anyway.

Got 2 wheels today though; each randomly allocating 25.

For a total deposit of 3000 (and I got most of it back), that is a bonus of 50, which is 1.67% as opposed to the 30% that is the supposed "target". This with several hours of play. There are far too many of these silly small prizes, more of the bigger ones would be better, it's not as though we stand to keep much of it with a 20x WR on Slots!

Incidentally, I have an excuse "on file" for the 14 repeated spins that was only supposed to be one. All to do with cacheing the wheel movie and playing it over and over. What it does show though is that the wheel you see is just an entertaining way to show a given bonus. The fact that it always landed on the same prize shows that the prize is already decided BEFORE you hit "spin"

Is there a way to get hold of a Casino-action rep in this forum? Member "Casino-Action" does not seem to accept PMs or emails.

Something is up

No sign of a Blackjack tournament, nor any correction of the many bugs and misinformation on the websites.
The Tuesday event is now on Loaded, and promotional mailers went out for this.
I uninstalled all the casinos, and no sooner as I had done so than 2000 worth of deposit bonuses came in (I did REALLY CRAP on them :-( )
This is despite the fact that VIP deposit matches were supposedly abolished last year. It seems that they ask for comments, but then just do their own thing whatever is said. Seems they are trying many new things to see who bites, but are not realising the promises made. The excuse about "data conflict" has been exposed as the BS I said it was, as NO new BJ tournament took place in February for the data to conflict with, and it looks like the "End of March at the latest" is now way off track.
The scores on the slots tournaments show that these are raking in a hell of a profit based on the house edge on slots, the top 10 scores, and the 20x WR on the prizes. Clearly, if these make money, and the Blackjack does not as only "pretend" chips are used, I doubt there will be any hurry to introduce it again.
The "Wheel of Cash" is also pretty dead, for something that Vinoka swore was "Random", it's behaviour has really changed for the worse over an extended period of time. When it does spin it is almost always the 15 or 25 offerings.
I had the recent Valentine "chocolates" promotion in all 6 accounts. 6x25!!! What a fix!!!! The same happened later with a "Random" bonus already preallocated to our "valued VIP's", again 3x25 - random my a***!!!!!
I gave Vinoka a written "warning" and uninstalled the "bleedin' lot", -- that's when the 2000 worth of 50% matches turned up!!!
The "bonus ratio" is still working behind the scenes, and is around 30% as before at Platinum Level. I have worked out that I have been "under bonused" during the bonus account version, but I have now been "over bonused" under the current system.
They will remain offline on my PC until the next worthwhile offer, or the reinstallation of the Blackjack tournament (or installation of a much bigger hard drive).

Well it seems the "new and improved" BJ tournament is finally back!!!

Many will be dissappointed, as it is only for VIP players (though it isn't clear as to what level VIP you have to be), and, you don't get free chips to play Bj with.....you bet with your own funds. It looks like the competition runs all week, and prizes are awarded at the end of the week. Also, there are only 10 prizes now, like all their other tournaments, instead of the old...50 prizes I beileve it used to be? Its been so long now...

That being said, at least its better than nothing....and its always running. As soon as it ends on Sunday, the new one immediately begins.

I must say I am quite pleased with this group as of late. Many competitions to choose from, and VIP services has been quite attentive. Even though its less than it used to be, Casino Action group gives out more comps and bonses than any other MG group......

Last nite, for instance, I had 999 comp points and asked if they could perhaps top off my points so I could redeem the 1,000 ($40 for platinum VIP).
I was very pleased when I logged in and found 2,000 points waiting for me!

And best of all, I don't have to belong to some "exclusive" club ( are you listening 32RED?????????)

Casino Action

Yeah a bit unfair that the new BJ tournament if only for VIP players but better than nothing i guess.
I love your comment on 32red hehe.. As I am a bit frustrated over there loyalty program. Maybe they will change it I know i have complained to them a few times about it.

Casino Action has lost me as a long standing customer just a couple weeks ago. After an uncountable amount of incorrectly reversed withdrawals I contacted my VIP manager that I am no longer willing to take this and informed her that I would like to collect all my outstanding comp-points.
She was very apologetic again, just as always when I had contacted her about my reversed withdrawals before. -This time though.... I was done.

Actually it did not even surprise me anymore when I realized that even the Comp-points that I withdrew from my Challenge Casino account got reversed again. As I did not feel like putting any more efforts into this I simply kept withdrawing the funds until I received the funds into my Neteller account after four or so attempts of requested payouts.

I do not know if this is evil-strategy or simply incompetence but I am done with them. Even my Platinum player status at their group was useless.

Other than that a 80* deposit and bonus wagering requirement for pretty much all games but Slots is just off.

Good Bye, Casino Action. -Praising the Good Ol' times......./

Blackjack

Yes, but a shadow of it's former self. In the old one the prizes were pretty big, $1200 for the winner and $800 for second. Now a mere $200, the worst paying tournament of all.
According to the terms, Autoplayed hands do not score, but how on earth can the casino tell? I though Autoplay was a function of the client interface, so could they simply use a criteria such as speed, length, and accuracy of play to determine which hands to disqualify? There are two monumental scores, but the rest are fairly small.
Probably in total the same amount of prize money is given out as before, as there are 4 or 5 runs per month.

I have noted that a new bonus system is being introduced. This is effectively the Grand Privvy "eZbonus", and allows cash-ins at any time with any bonus remaining confiscated in exchange. Bonus is earned in the same way as before in 2004, but the rates are not secret. the WR on a deposit bonus is reduced to 15x D+B on slots, however on Blackjack it has increased to an effective 150x (due to 10% weighting). Classic BJ is weighted at a mere 2%, so the WR is a colossal 750x. Classic BJ is only at Phoenician though.
I have noticed a lack of wheels of cash, but regular VIP matches are back again. Tournament prizes are adversely affected though, as the WR is 30x on slots from 20x under the old system, but Table Poker is down to 60x from 80x.

It seems the software handling cash-ins got corrupted during this upgrade as I also had many instant payments rejected, and had these been traditional cash-ins I would have suffered token refunds. It seems the software cannot handle the reaching of a zero balance and a fresh deposit, as well as holding on to a WR on a bonus granted under the old system despite being cleared by the new bonus system.

This is the first time in a year that it has been "two steps forward and one step back" at Casino Action, normally it is a case of "One step forward and two steps backwards".

Finally, can they explain HOW the January tournament data would have conflicted with the current BJ tournament, as this was the excuse given for the cancellation back in January - did they tell lies?

Maybe another step back?

Maybe its just me, but it seems as though that Casino Action have tweaked their comp point conversion rate....and definately NOT in the players favor. Ever since this new BJ tournament began, it seems as though my comp points are accumulating a heck of a lot slower than before. Anyone else having similar results??

I have this sneaking suspicion that maybe since the launch of the new BJ tournament, they are no longer giving comp points on any bj wagers:confused:
