i have played and evaluated the Bovada Casino Blackjack system for a few months now. the information below was not put together because i lost money, got mad, and wanted to rip on Bovada. it was put together after examining my play history, and looking at the hands and trends that i have played. i have won and lost at bovada, but my winnings were only a result of playing a completely unconventional system.

First the positive. if you manage to win any money, they do pay. i have received 2 payouts in a timely manner. but don't get to excited until you read the Cons.

now for the negatives. they claim to have a "random system", but if you play as much as i do, and for as long as i have, it is easy to spot trends in there "random" system. let me give you some examples. 1) 70%-80% of the time, if you get a blackjack, the dealer will get an ace on the very next hand, more times than not resulting in a blackjack for the dealer. if that doesn't happen, the dealer will typically get a 20, or draw to a 21. or within a hand or two will get a blackjack. this happens so frequently, that there is no way it is random. i will typically drop my bet to the minimum after a blackjack, because i know the dealer will more times than not, get one immediately after mine. 2) if you have a bust card and hit, 90% of the time you will draw a card valued at 10, causing you to bust. very very very few times will you be able to take more than 3 cards. On the flip side, the dealer will routinely take 4, 5, 6 cards to make its hand. along with this, if the dealer has a bust card showing, you can expect the dealer 70%-90% of the time to have a 1, 2, 3, or 4 down, or will draw one or more of these cards to make a hand. some folks may not notice this, but i do. when a dealer pulls multiple small cards, they are much more likely to make a hand and not bust. you will notice when playing at Bovada, that a dealer 6, is not a bust card, rather, the dealer will more times than not pull a 18, 19, 20, or 21. 3) you will be dealt a lot of splits and double down opportunities. be careful. you will win some of these, but more times than not, you will lured into a split with a couple double downs, only to have the dealer pull a 21, or barely beat you. 4) if you take advantage of the bonuses offered. you can expect to see the hands greatly change to the casinos favor once you have played the required play through hands, so be careful. 5) the dealer receives an extremely high % of 19, 20, and 21's. 6) the dealer receives a very very high % of winning hands that contain 5 and 6 cards. this does happen, but not at the frequency you will experience at Bovada. like i mentioned earlier. the dealer will more times than not have 1 or more small cards in hand, which will make more hands than break hands.

hope this helps everyone. my final words would be, don't waste your money at bovada. i have addressed these issues with their customer service, but they want to stick to their claim of "random cards". the evidence shows otherwise. Find a different casino to play at, and don't waste your time with Bovada.

if anyone can point me toward a good live dealer casino that excepts US players, please do so. thanks.

I never play BJ online, just slots. I only ever played it once, and remember after 50 hands thinking "if only I could get a pack of cards as lucky as that dealers....". I never played it again. The only question I have is that programming software to emulate real-life BJ must be extremely hard. The programme will have to carry the mathematical weighting to give the casino the 1.5% edge, and pick from a certain number of decks in the shoe - given this, and say you are a single player at a table with several seats, have you noticed a difference in play when other players are there too? One player's losing experience is not proof of anything untoward.

Did you bother to read the rules concerning posting complaints? You are required to contact the casino rep when accusing them of anything. This is a forum where we try to solve issues - not slur one another.

The casino rep is located here:

oh right contact the casino rep to tell them there game is rigged LOL !!! I saw patterns with club world casino slot tally ho it trigger the bonus round on given times so offen I could set my watch by it, when I complaint about what I was seeing they e-mail back telling me there games are tested and fair.
if you cannot call out a casino on what your seeing then why post any thing at all. we all take the casino word there games are fair but are they,
in the years that ive played at online casinos I have never!!! seen a report from a third party testing site on how they fully test the software, and if
it is rigged who going to do anything about , no one that's who, the only time a gaming site gets shut down is when law enforcement from some country
like the u.s.a does it, I myself do not stick up for online gaming site, online sites can defend them self, they have reps and pr department to that for them.

Oh cool.

So when did you stop playing? I'm assuming you did.

I mean, why would anyone knowingly allow themselves to be ripped off by a bunch of cheats, right?

I will keep it short. I've played enough BJ at B&Ms to know they play just the same as their online counter parts. The only real difference is the speed of the game.

What's so funny about that? Letting a casino rep know that you have questions about the fairness of the games will not lead to a bunch of lip service here. I've run this site for over fifteen years - dealing with thousands of complaints, and I think that by now if RTG's software was gaffed we'd know about it by now. Most people who cry "rigged" are either sore losers or don't understand casino math. We have enough professional math-heads here to clear up any issue of rigged software. So yes, if you feel that the software is rigged, bring it on. Proper punctuation, spelling, and grammar count.

the evidence shows otherwise.

You don't know what the word evidence means. You also probably have a gambling problem. Accept that your losses are your fault and resolve to never gamble again. Don't post on the internet either.

Easy play Live Black Jack problem solved. I don't think online Black Jack iis gaffed but I've never played it so I wouldn't know mainly for the same reason Dunover pointed out a random pack of cards would be difficult to emulate so it's bound to be somewhat artificial which would make it different from the real game with an increase of streakiness. I play $10 a hand at Bet@ which is the cheapest I've been able to find.

If the game is "rigged" there would be no reason for you not to say something. If it is truly "rigged" then other would have caught on by now and either have said something, or stopped going to that website.

PS. Your odds to win at black jack are minimal at real casinos, the odds wouldn't be great digitally either

millions

I guess the OP has played millions of hands and also formulated a hypothesis AFTER many hands and then did not include those prior hands in the data set.

Is that correct?

Scam

I won roughly $14,000 on Bovada playing blackjack in a two week period. During that time I discovered a pattern and was able to fluctuate my bet from $1-$500 accordingly. Since cashing that money out and following the same patterns I have lost roughly $2000 of that money back to Bovada and I am now quitting the site forever. I'm up $12,000 why would I quit??

Here's why... After hours and hours of calculating and analyzing data that I tracked, Bovada clearly has adjusted their algorithm to my bet patterns. Prior to cashing out I won 62% of hands with a bet of $25 or more. After the cash out I have won 4% of hands with a bet of $25 or more.

This isn't a case of a bad run or bad luck. I have tracked this data over 16,456 hands.

I just got lucky when I started playing, and found a solid strategy. However I wouldn't recommend anyone use this site for anything other than the sports book.

[max says: Bullshit Alert! I'm 99% sure this guy is lying. If he doesn't prove his claims he's gonna get the ban hammer treatment ASAP.]

They absolutely have a rigged system! I have an acquaintance who does web maintaining for them, and offered him a bribe if he could get me the blackjack source code. After reviewing it for a few hours, it's very clearly rigged. Any bets less than $3 seem to be played out at fair odds (~2% house edge), while mid level bets ($4-$29), have an extra bit of code to allow a modest 9% additional house edge, or ~11% total. Now the real fun is when you get to "extra high" wagers. $50+. There is a completely new "if then" set for that. Kiss that 11% goodbye. Not only do they bump their edge up to an astonishing 37%, they also add in the inability for a player to be dealt a blackjack on any bet over $75.

That being said, the code has very predictable algorithms, and a hard fast set of rules it has to abide by (not at all random). If you learn them (or happen to have the source code), you can beat the pants off of it with no difficulty at all, and easily make tens of thousands of dollars. Until they wise up and change the source code.

*All of this is said with no evidence provided (I'm sure as hell not handing over my gold mine). So these are only speculations. Upon such time as they change their code, I will happily post the evidence, and change this to allegations. As of now, I'm just a crazy rambler with an old wooden walking stick who lives on a mountainside, and none of my ramblings should be taken as true. (ie, I don't want to get sued, or put this website in legal jeopardy).

This is almost certainly bullshit. A "web maintenance" guy would have no access whatsoever to the source code, never mind for a specific game. Hell, most casino owners can't even access the code. And even if you did have the code you'd have to really know your shit in order to just read it and tell something was hinky.

I challenge you to prove this. Contact me privately at max.drayman@casinomeister.com and we'll proceed. Decline, as I'm almost certain you will, and your forum account here is forfeit because you're a troll and a liar.

Also, I've put you in the Moderated group: no further posts from you will appear on the forums until they have been reviewed and approved by a CM moderator.

Your move.

Yeah, just as I thought: dude was back on the site yesterday afternoon, not a peep. Didn't respond to my PM either.
Adiós to a bullshitting troll.
