Let's welcome Blue Square and Grosvenor Casinos back to Casinomeister - they were listed here for a couple of years, but fell off the face of the Earth (at least in Casinomeisterland) - we're welcoming them to a short stay in the Baptism by Fire section (30 days) since they have been here before :D

Very sensible WR on the SUB, 20x deposit which is pretty rare these days.

Would be interested if the rep could let us know which maths model they've chosen for the slots that support an 'operator choice', such as Siberian Storm and Coyote Moon.
 
I have never really had any problems with Blue Square myself over several years. Anyone know why they fell out of favour with CM?

They never fell out of favor. One of the requirements for being on the site is to have a rep in the forum. Months ago (or longer - can't remember) the rep left and no one took his place...so it was adios amigo. Just recently a new rep has joined the forum, and she requested to come back on board. So IMO - not a problem.

Just one thing to clarify - both Bluesquare and Grosvenor are part of the same group - Rank Interactive, however, the casinos differ slightly in choice of games, offers and some other things. However, the good things is that indeed both of the brands have a wide choice of Novomatic slots, as well as ITG and the Playtech download casino. Still, would be great to know more about what you think of Grosvenor in particular!

It's really a pity to have a rather extensive list of restricted countries due to the legislation... Let's hope it does change.. Some time.. In the future :D

I've just corrected the thread title to name both casinos - Blue Square and Grosvenor Casino - since these are two separate distinct casinos in the same group :D

See I think this is a good group, and I have always enjoyed playing with them but this is the problem I have....(It's not a serious one, just one thats confusing for me)

I am not so sure whats distinct in this group and whats not.....I mean they have loads of places you can log in with the same details as bluesq and you are not allowed to open accounts at different ones, despite it all being very confusing as they are made to look like seperate entities. Its also usually very unclear what you can claim in terms of bonuses and what you cant at the different places. I mean I have a bluesq.com account, does that preclude me from signing up at gcasino? or gcasino poker? I get told it does. Its all VERY confusing and not easy to fathom. My way of fathoming it out is just not to claim anything and only play at bluesquare lol. I get a bit annoyed when I constantly get flyers for gcasino.com at my local b&m with sign up offers on them but I think I cant try because I have a bluesq account etc etc...

Sorry for that long winded explanation! I still like playing at bluesq a lot.

This was indeed what I was asking :)

On a high variance slot like Siberian Storm, you really don't want to be playing the 92% maths model version.....

Just out of curiosity, may I ask what they list as a RTP range on that game?

(as mentioned, I can not even open the game in fun mode, restricted country)

I had an issue with a deposit I made at Blue Square (sportsbook) a few weeks ago - the money was taken from my moneybookers account, but didn't arrive in my Blue Square account. I sent a couple of emails asking what was going on with no response forthcoming, before deciding to get in touch with MB instead. They insisted that Blue Square had received the cash and I had to deal with them, so I sent a third email (memory is hazy, but I would put this at 2-3 days after the 'deposit' at this point), and finally received a response to say they had tracked down the deposit and credited my account.

All's well that ends well, and I won't hold the occasional technical problem against anybody, but I was pretty put out that it took three emails and several days just to get somebody to talk to me. Even a generic "we're looking into it" would have been fine. I sincerely hope the casino is run somewhat better than the sportsbook, but I'm not in a hurry to try it after that experience.

I believe some casinos have a "win/lose" switch that can be activated on a player by player basis by the customer service agents. It's why you should always be nice to them.

You're definitely on to something here I think.

It really does seem like the whole post is written in yelling (hope that's not the case). It is the first time I have heard of the issue to be honest, and I am not sure what would be the best way about it. I can assure that being part of the biggest UK's gambling group, such practices as resetting numerator are not even considered here.

Since you did have to reset the browser due to technical issues from our side, if you are interested, we could offer a partial refund. Please PM me if you want to discuss this further.

Blue Square - Slots and software are behind the times

To give some background, I have been playing online for well over 8 years, and in that time have played on a host of different sites, since Ladbrokes first launched, with a whole variety of different providers.

In short, Blue Square is behind the times. Not only is it lacking in choice of slots, but the interface is slow (I have a high end gaming PC + consistent 20mb BB) and you are often met with an error message from the cashier deposit page (of all places, if this doesn't work first time it really sets the alarm bells ringing for me).

This just feels like a poor mans Betfair to me, with less games and less thought put into the user experience. And no, I have no affiliation with Betfair.

To give an example of poor user experience - each slot defaults to the maximum bet you can support in your balance (or a preset default that is 100 credits +) upon loading. This means you need to be paying close attention before starting your session or you risk losing way over your desired bet initially. This is not user friendly IMO, particularly if you are new to online slotting.

Furthermore, once you are met with the default 'whale sized' bet and have to reset it, you then have to select the number of bet lines you want from scratch... :-(

Payouts seem ok, I won some, I lost some, no difference here from other places I have played. However, the deposit failures, lack of variety in slots, and what feels like a cheap money grab default bet level, means this gets a disappointing 4/10 from me.

Be careful with this, everybody. In spite of seeing the error message (on two separate occasions) and no money showing up in my balance, payment WAS taken each time. Check your bank statement closely.
 
How long for moneybookers withdrawals? Requested 24h ago my test withdrawal and that is close to my maximum accepted payout time or no more business from me. First time I m ok with a few days if docs is needed. But that should not be needed on £12 deposit and 20 withdrawal on e-wallet.

Dont't read this is a complaint, just asking about how long time it takes.

Looks like a very good bookie and casino. Hope to see patout times suiting me and they will gain more business from me.

Thats not good enough if you need Skype to have your prob resolved, what about us the regular player if an affiliate wont get an answer?

As far as that goes, this problem seems to be restricted to affiliates and comes down to staffing issues over the last few months.

I've tested their CS email support a couple of times already this year and found that they consistently respond within 24 hours and the reviewer i work with have never had issue getting timely responses from CS ;)

Look KK, when you say its fairly simple they might need to scratch their heads for a week to get a clue so I am not surprised they havent answered you yet.:D

Well I'm not going to start a fight about this :rolleyes:
But for the record your out-of-office e-mail said you were out until June 26th inclusive - so back to work 27th = last Wednesday.
My e-mail was actually sent on the 26th and you replied yesterday - so that was 5 working days (assuming Mon-Fri)

Anyway, enough derailing this thread - more important things to worry about! ;)
