Blackjack on Prima

I had an anamoly like experience today with the atlantic city blackjack at prima. It seemed the larger my bet, the more often I lost. Also, anytime the dealer would show a bust card (ie. 6) it would then draw to 20/21. At the conclusion of my play, I decided to go for a playcheck so I could calculate the beats that the dealer gave me and their statistical probabilities. After searching throughout my Pokertime software I realized that hey, there is no playcheck for blackjack! How brilliant is that! I then went to their customer support where I was told that they do not record blackjack hands.

All in all, my advice to the masses is to avoid prima blackjack as I am near certian that it is an unfair game of blackjack.

PS. It would be nice to see an independent review of this software, if any watchdog is up for it.

I think that support are wrong here, Prima being one of the bigger players must keep records of all bets placed and results.

I agree. They'd just be asking for trouble if they didn't keep records of BJ play.

And as I stated in the other thread where you brought this up, I'm up overall for the few sessions of BJ I've played. I also didn't notice anything out of the ordinary when I raised my bets; upward of $200/hand.

How many hands did you play to come to the conclusion it's not a fair game? Quite a hefty accusation if you don't have substantial proof...

You also need to understand that with all the hands of BJ that's dealt every day across MG, there's bound to be alot of "abnormalities" such as this that will definately come up more often. You were just on the unlucky end of the stick.

PS: All in all, you're claiming that MG as a whole isn't dealing a fair game. The BJ game(s) within the prima software use the same RNG as regular MG casinos.

In total I probably played around 500-700 hands the other day. The fact that they do not keep a record of the hands for me to view, or even for them to view seems incredibly fishy to me. Also, I totally understand the logistics of blackjack having played it for many years and I would not make a claim like this if I was no fairly certian that the software was infact unfair.

I'm sure if you pressed the issue with support and got this issue escalated, they'd dig up the logs for you. As stated above, I also don't believe the person you talked to knew what the hell they were talking about.

As far as not getting a fair game, I could understand if everyone was getting these results, but that's not the case.

My dealings with the customer service was quite shady to say the least. I had asked them for my blackjack hand history and the csr then said okay, but i will need your account number. I then gave him my account number and I was then put on hold for 5 minutes. He then came back and said that they do not keep blackjack hand histories. I told him that i found that quite odd and he put me on hold again to ask the supervisor. Following another 5 minute wait, the csr told me that he had asked everyone there and the answer stood that they do not keep the hand histories.

Perhaps the Prima rep on this board could contact me to explain this?

Prima = Microgaming = legitimate software

There's almost no chance that you played enough hands to come up with any statistically significant results.

But if you really think it's rigged, it's probably not going to hurt you to stop gambling online.

I certainly have to agree bpb.

Sorry for the flood, but if you still think Prima/MG BJ is rigged, you're wrong. I would have lost all of these hands if it was true that it's "fixed".

That, plus, I would certainly not have pushed on 2 sequential $100x2 doubles. This whole session was played at Dream Poker within their prima client.

This first one is a $200 bet doubled. Rigged? Not.

Timeline: The 2 pushes were before the $400 win.

Yep, I'd be deadly suspicious of any casino who cant give you your hand history. Its online gambling FFS ....
