Hi all,

My first post here so hi everyone, looks like a great forum for blackjack fans like myself :)

Anyway I wanted to share this little tip, skyvegas.com is the casino of the main satellite TV broadcaster here in the UK and right now they have a £10 no deposit bonus available for new members. The amazing thing is, its specified clearly on the signup page that there are NO wagering requirements!

Sure enough, I signed up, played some blackjack, got my balance up to £110 and decided I would try and withdraw the £100 and play with the remaining £10. Unfortunately I lost the £10 but to my amazement the £100 landed in my bank account two days later as promised. What a result for a free bonus !!

I hope the rest of you have some fun with this too :)

All the best,
Chris

You may find this is a UK only offer, which will limit the damage somewhat, and it will get pulled if too many just sign up for the free tenner and play Blackjack.

Hey, apologies, I didn't really think of it that way. I'm hoping to pick a few peoples brains about a couple of issues relating to on-line casinos, and thought it would be polite to share that as a first post prior to asking for peoples help, if that makes sense?

It's the only on-line casino I've ever seen with a no WR no deposit bonus, that you can withdraw on the same day you get it. I figured it was exceptional enough to mention. Apologies if I sounded spammy though !

This is legit, Sky Vegas do send out the most bizarre bonus offers from time to time, like 100% match offers for slots on a £25 deposit with a 1xB WR, which is literally free money.

At another set of forums I frequent a fair number of people - (who've never gambled online in their lives before, the forums are videogames related, nothing to do with gambling) - used a bonus offer at Sky Vegas with a combination of wagers on roulette that guaranteed them a minimum of £27 profit. (It allowed betting on red, black and zero to meet the tiny WR, across two bonus code deposits.)

As the resident gambler I warned them about 'abuse of the bonus' clauses and zero-risk wagering and so on, but I was proved wrong, Sky Vegas paid them all without any fuss whatsoever!

This cannot last. Something will have to give, else the forums will be buzzing with this and the casino will get absolutely hammered. They will then have a PR problem as they will have to do a U-turn in their attitude towards players, and this will inevitably result in a backlash in the forums of the form "they paid him for the same playing style, so why not me".

Perhaps the key to this is that these crazy offers are drawing in the non gamblers to have a go, and is effectively a "loss leader" designed to sacrifice money in exchange for hooking in a whole new class of player, one never before lured into gambling, but fine with other forms of online gaming.
