You didn't collect 48 coins, you would need 6@ full 8-row reels or the equivalent using splits to do that.

That would be incredibly unlikely and hard to do.

The jackpot is paid when the maximum possible reel sizes are reached and filled.

If they paid out full screens rather than minimum height full screens (48 coins) the RTP would be quite different.

Seems pretty clear and intuitive to me, especially once you've seen that the cooks can split.

If there is any confusion it's probably a comprehension issue rather than their copy being hard to decipher.
