last days i won about 1500€ on 32red with a 5€ bet on an 9line slot called genies gems. i also made some great experience with kathmandu which is also a 9-line Slot.
is it just coincidence or does those 9-lines are just better.

Congratulations on your big win.

9-line slots are typically of higher variance than say 20 or 25 line slots so its natural they pay more on single line wins. Being of higher variance also means you could play more spins without hitting anything of note. If I recall correctly, even 5 of a kind Aces pays quite well in Genie's Gems.

Ironically, 9 payline slots treat me harshly. I've never hit a win on them, let alone a big win! Congratulations on the win for yourself! Doing it for those of us that haven't won on them! Sticking it to the big man. :)

There is something about Microgaming 9 liners. Can't really find the word, erm...charming maybe?
No matter what state of the art slots are out there, I always go back to Thunderstruck, Adventure Palace or Break da Bank Again.
You can have a lot of playtime on smallish bets, with a chance to hit some nice wins.

I love the 9-liners (apart from when there eating :p) Always play Thunderstruck, Spring Break, Agent Jane Blonde, Ladies Nite most deposits.

I'm a low roller so usually play 27p but drop lower if having a bad day.

Had some amazing 'hits' for these low stakes over the years tho, quick examples:-

* all 5 'scatters' on Thunderstruck DURING free spins @ 18p paid £270 (plus few other lil wins)

* all 5 Tigers / Monkeys 3 or 4 times during feature on AP @ 27p (£135 a time :) )

* 5 x 're-trigger' on AJB @ 18p, finished on roughly £180

I have noticed a change in these games tho. When I first started playing I was very rare regardless of casino that I wouldn't get a feature in the first 40-50 spins, on a bad day I've done over 500! But saying that at those stakes only lose 10-20 during those spins so can handle that lol!

I like 9-line slots too. It is kinda addictive...I like Break da bank again, adventure palace, Agent Jane, Center court, Thunderstruck...

I was piad $3500 on 90 cents bet on Break da bank again a few years ago, and one time I got 5 wilds on adventure palace-yes! 5 elephants!-it paid around 3k too, but I can't remeber my bet size at that time.

Congrats on your winnig.

The 9-liners are definitely my favourites aswell. Many of them just seem to achieve the right balance between keeping you interested and dishing out decent wins. They are not without their streaks of course - like any slot - but have long term appeal. Only last week I had 5 scatters on Thunderstruck - during the free spins for 1,500x :D

That's the one I keep chasing those bloody elephants, play that one the most but can't even manage 4!

Those slots are all clones of each other = basically the same slot!

It is funny though, that certain players seem to be luckier on some than others: I had my best ever win on Ladies Night (5 scatters twice, just 53 spins apart - on BIG bets) and I hit 5 wilds on Spring Break. But I've had virtually no good hits on Thunderstruck... :(

That's virtually the opposite then for me, can't seem to do any good on Ladies Nite at all, struggle to get 3, never mind 5 twice!! lol. Managed 4 wilds on SB still chasing that elusive 5th! but do get fair run most of the time on TS and AP :)

They've used the same 'basic shell' to design / program each of the games from each other, however the variance has defo been changed across them - need some back up on this one but I think Adventure Palace n TS are mid-low variance and the others, especially AJB and SB are high variance

I'm 99.9% sure you are wrong there - I think they are all exact clones.
For sure the reel-strips are the same on TS & SB (you can view these on SlotBeaters.com - link in my sig) - I haven't looked at the other 2 in detail, but would be very surprised if they're not the same.

You are correct, the reel strips are all exactly the same on all the 'clones', however I think that once the game is 'complete and ready to go' then the individual settings / parameters of the games can be adjusted, not referring to RTP etc but as suggested the variance.

Only have some slight evidence of this but years of play and 1000's of spins has shown that Thunderstruck and Adventure Palace give more regular small or average wins, wheras Spring Break, AJB and Ladies Night can give much bigger wins but less often. The first 2 I mention are defo easier to trigger a bonus round on be it good or bad :eek:

It may appear that I'm contradicting myself with regard to the TS '5 scatter in feature' but this was a one off in 10 yrs.

Unsure whether any of us will ever truly know, Unless we get a job with MGS :confused:

I can't be 100% sure but I'm with Jonmincher on this one: I think the variance differs slightly between TS, SB and LN myself. The key seems to be the free spins: seem to get them less frequently on SB and LN yet with better results. Coincidence possibly but that's over years of playing and just a gut feel.

i hear you whenever i hit big dont mind throwing 9+ € bets at them to me they were allways the best slots in the mg software and + spring break party island agent blonde jane, when they are hot u can really hope to cahs out a huge one.

No love here for the one with the spaceships? Jeez, I can't even remember the name of it anymore, been so long since they were in the US. I remember the five red triggers would come up comparatively often. The bonus game was like an abduction scene where the ships would pick up cats and old ladies in their PJ's and such, very entertaining.

Kinda low variance but was always a steady earner for me

Edited to add; My bad, I think this one is a 15 liner.
