New Slot Announcement Big Time Gaming - Who Wants To Be A Millionaire

Doesn't say anything about that in the help files.

Oh yes, Mr. T would be the best Pope ever, tremendous! :D

Max. bet is 100 credits, so 10,000x bet would mean 1 Million, should be possible, after all it is the Bonanza engine and we had there 14,000x bet once in 2 years. The casinos will probably all take out insurance.

CEO said 50,000x I think. Max bet will probably drop to 5 if that is true. :D

What about the lifelines? How will this work?

Here we go, 1527 spins to the first bonus round

- 3 scatters gives you 8 spins
- the game will randomly pick one of the life lines
- in my case it chose, phone a friend
- then displays the probability that the pick will be right.
- only on the first gamble can you have zero free spins
- after that is either higher up or it gives the lower amount.
- I made it to 12 spins with phone a friend and ask the audience. 3rd gamble it gave 50:50 and of course i picked the wrong one. Won't be 50:50 just like on Extra Chilli
- got the 10 Free Spins, which paid 21x bet

"Most likely", "reveals the chance", so it is not 25% for each one of the 4 answers? RNG will decide each time?

I had A: 70, B: 10, C: 7 and D:13, so i picked A.

I guess it is random, sometimes it will point clearly to an answer, sometimes it will mess you up. :D

well, have to say this is sort Extra Chilli clonish.....

- you very rarely will win something when you take the 8 spins, nor will 10 FS pay a lot more.
- 10 spins will be the most frequent amount of free spins it will award
- three times I made it to the 10 : 14 FS gamble and every time it dropped down to 10. The last time I had "ask the audience" - A was 7%, D was 70% and A was correct. So, it is actually a random pick.

Or just there to help make sure you get it wrong:laugh:. I personally don’t like these type of gambles at all. I am of the opinion that the game will be able to stuff you and can change the outcome to suit. The number of free spins achievable if you gamble will be predetermined.

What do you reckon to it? Out of 10?
It's OK but I still prefer the brutal honesty of Bonanza.
The comment made above about extra chilli is certainly true - it's essentially the same game with a far more volatile feature gamble that has a different gradient.
You get 8 spins for 3 scatters.
You then get a scale of WWTBAM prizes but this time free spins: 8,10,12,14,16,18,20,22,25,30,40 and 50.
At 10 or 20 spins there's a safety net (like the old 1000 and 32000 prize values in the original show)
You go further up the scale to begin with 4 - 8 scatter triggers, so 4 starts you at 10 and the max 8 at 18.
The game selects a lifeline as the gamble which is either 'Ask the Audience' '50-50' or 'Phone a friend' and it's usually Ask the Audience at the start. One answer will be favoured with say 80% of the audience vote and this doesn't necessarily mean you'll win by choosing it!
Going from 8 to 10 is tricky and is the only time you can lose the bonus altogether, and it seems to half the time.
You'd need a 32/1 chance to go from 10 spins to the next safety net of 20 assuming 50-50 odds although you'll notice the Ask the Audience best choice reducing in percentage as you go along.
It will be colossally difficult to get to 30 spins and I think it'll be a long time before somebody gets to the maximum 50.

The feature is far more volatile than what you will be used to.

Doesn’t sound great so far. If I am understanding it right as regards the ask the audience bit being wrong when it is like 80% or whatever. What is the point of it? Or does it state that the majority will be right x percentage of the time or something?

Well I guess it will be right 80% of the time... The problem with us gamblers is that we think 80% means we will never lose lol

Yes that would make sense but of course leaves a large grey area as to how that is monitored and will as sure as eggs create another huge debate as it continually shafts you well above the 20% it’s entitled to.

It's a very different game despite the visual pattern being similar to EC. I shall demonstrate this in my upcoming video! I have asked Nik at BTG if it's OK to make one now as technically this material should have been released at a certain date but the cat's out of the bag now alas.

Nice vid as usual:thumbsup:. My first impression is that I have totally mixed feelings about this slot. When you have Bonanza and Chilli as predecessors, with lMO bonanza being by far the better, it’s a shame they have followed more in the footsteps of Chilli. I really don’t like the idea of waiting around 250 spins for a bonus and then losing it. I would rather wait longer and be guaranteed the 10 spins. People are naturally having played Chilli going to gamble the 8 believing it’s not enough to achieve a big win and will probably be right. I just think with the complaints about the wheel on Chilli they could of avoided another long debate which will inevitably occur regarding the fairness of the gamble on this game. I also think Chilli was a bit of a cheapskate effort to create another bonanza. I am not saying this is but it’s a bit like having 52 cards in a deck. No matter how many times you shuffle them they may come out in a different order but there is still only 52. I just think a little more originality wouldn’t have gone a miss instead of something pretty much the same. I can only imagine all the lost gambles will eventually end up paying for 1 person to hit massive. I will play it but with caution.

Chilli was just an experiment in getting people to accept the idea of 'gambling' for higher spins, normalizing it, and desensitizing them to the idea.

Now it's been readily embraced by all and sundry, expect BTG to lead the way and churn out more of these features. But wrap it around a lovable family-friendly licence and everything's forgiven! :D

This game could be a million-mare for some people

Blueprint (among others) have been doing it much longer than BTG.

My thoughts are that not a single person will ever get to 50 spins... You'd have to be crazy to gamble up that high, and I admit I'm not overly keen on the gamble. Totally get why they have done it like this and I might well have tried the same thing... But I just don't see the advantage of this over Extra Chilli. It's not a better game IMHO...

Blueprint & co may have been doing this for a while but it was BTG that have brought it into the mainstream, and with that comes some semblance of responsibility, not just staring at spreadsheets, and backslapping contests :D

It may be well-designed but it also strikes me as lazy
