I was credited with free bonus spins after deposit. Played the spins then played some more, as you do! My balance thankfully stayed up and I never used any of the bonus funds. To my suprise I found all my balance was then locked in bonus. Is this just another &#039;doh&#039; moment for me (I have many) or are their terms misleading? It&#039;s locked, hence my query as to are their terms misleading. It was a long chat so I won&#039;t post it here but bottom line is: <br /> &quot;any cash balance there when winnings are received are locked. You can choose to continue playing, but if you wish that your funds are not locked to the bonus then you can forfeit anytime. Where it says withdrawable that means any other funds not included in the promotion as some people deposit more funds&quot;<br /> Obviously the cash is already locked so forfeiting isn&#039;t an option. I just expected better from Betsafe.</div>
 
<div class="bbWrapper">Hmmmm I know on some if you get a big hit &amp; have not dipped into bonus money or free spins you can withdraw but shall lose the ammount credited to your account. Betsafe are is a safe place so I&#039;m unsure.</div>

I think if they state clearly what the terms are ie. 35x deposit + bonus and then clarify the requirements in a transparent manner, it&#039;s allowed. I don&#039;t believe that this is what Betsafe are doing though hence my post.</div>

It makes absolutely no differance whatsoever.<br /> <br /> The UKGC ruling clearly states - in accordance with their licencees -<br /> <br /> UKGC licenced Casinos CANNOT impede a withdrawal of a cash balance and cannot tie them to bonus funds.<br /> <br /> Bonus funds and Cash deposits must be wholly and individually segregated.<br /> <br /> They are perfectly clear on that point.<br /> <br /> Now, if some someone in their marketing department thinks otherwise and wants to try to put a spin on the promotion - nice try guys btw - thats their risk.<br /> <br /> But what they are doing is directly contravening a clear condition of their UK licence.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I think if you all read the terms properly you&#039;ll see the free spins bonus works in a compliant manner the same as the match bonus, it&#039;s just badly worded and confused more by the ill-informed CS.</div>

Bottom line is, your offer for the freespins according to the message expired on the Friday. I deposited £25 on the Sunday and was credited with the free spins anyway. I won £15 thus my balance was around £40. I played keeping my balance above £20, not touching the bonus funds. When my balance reached 3 figures I noticed it was all locked into wagering. As it stood, my balance was locked instantly so the option to forfeit wasn&#039;t possible as I would have lost all the funds in my account. I had no intention of withdrawing as I wanted to play anyway, hence my post is a query and not a complaint.<br /> My interpretation of your wagering was that i could have withdrawn my cash balance and still have the bonus funds, more than fair. But it appears that the cash I deposited was instantly locked as soon as I played the freespins. The chat host explained that basically the promo was for a £25 depo, so if I deposited say £40 i would have £15 cash and the rest locked to bonus as the promo required the £25. I will test this theory when I next deposit! If this is correct, then that&#039;s fine but I personally feel that the terms are misleading.<br /> It would be great if you could reply by posting a clarification of your terms as requested in my initial posting. Yes I am in the UK, I never once touched my bonus balance until my cash balance was locked into it, thus I had to wager.
