Betsafe block my account after losing 22K$

Okay, based on info recently provided the PAB can now be finalized.

The OP has said "This company is lying about the limit, she says the day i set limit i also removed this?" (here) FTR their stated policy is:
''If a customer wants to increase the limit or remove their limit, the new limit will not take effect before a 7-day cooling off period to ensure that this is not a decision the player makes in the heat of the moment. If the customer chooses to lower the limit, the new limit will take effect immediately’’

AFAICT from the player's history of Exclusions and Limits (a) the casino has followed their stated policies re enforcing the player's limits, and (b) the OP did exactly what the CS people said he did, set his $1000 limit -- 10/06/2013 21:51:03 -- and 25 seconds later requested it be removed.

Bottom line: the casino acted responsibly re closing the player's account and the casino implemented their Limits policies as published.

Case dismissed.

So he set the 1k limit, removed it and then a week later lost the 22k?

Or set the limit and removed it the same day?

I know there's a week between removing a limit and it taking effect.

I scrolled round the thread again. I think I have the dates mixed up.

Yes after i asked nordicbet Joakim for comp in christmas as i lost with bad return he set my nordicbet account to maximum 200$ daily and i fixed all other place to have a limit to my account, from betsafe it this one :

dato : 29/12/2013
"Betsafe - your deposit limits

This is to confirm that you have successfully altered your deposit limit.

Your chosen limit: 1000 NOK DAILY

To view your limit or make amendments please log-in and visit the ‘Responsible Gaming' section.

The betsafe Team."

He set a deposit limit in December 2013 which is more current than the october limit stated above. Did he change it again after it was set in december?

As I'm sure you guys will understand I can't start blabbing on in detail about the OP's history regarding limits and such. I believe the OP is in the wrong re their issues at the casino but they are still a private person who has every right to expect some discretion on their personal details, not to mention our privacy commitments to the casino.

I will check again to see when the money was lost in relation to the limit setting and removing activity. If there's anything of interest there I'll be back to set things straight here, but don't hold your breath. I've got 47,000 things on my "to do" list right now.

My spidey senses told me that this would be the outcome of the PAB since he mentioned nothing about deposit limits in his first post. I do hope Rezak is doing much better now that he has quit gambling. I still feel bad for the guy.

Okay, from what I see in the OP's records he set a new $1000 limit on 08 December, removed it late in the month so it would have come off on the 05 January. I don't know what his account activity was between that time and his losses on or after 05 March but there were no new limits set or removed AFAIK.

FWIW it's clear from the limit set/remove history that he knew exactly how they worked and when the "cool off" periods expired.

As I said, I'm satisfied the casino acted responsibly and in accordance with the Terms. It's a shame what the player did to himself but I see no reason here to hold the casino accountable.

He agreed to the casino's policy on setting gambling limits when he signed up. If the casino adhered to their own rules, he has nobody to blame for his losses but himself.

The way the update was worded the first time I wasn't sure but I figured it was just my own confusion.

Just as max wrote.....don't think there was much doubt on the casino being right in their actions.......especially after it took ages and hundreds of posts to convince the OP on starting a PAB.....

It was not 1000$ deposit limit but 1000KR, which is 130$ deposit limit to be exact amount. and it was around 140.000kr i lost, around 24.000$, I feel that max didn't get any response from bettsson group in to this case.

To give this group right to keep remaining balance I had (at all bettsson group which are casinoeuro, betsson, nordicbet, betsafe as they have blocked all these account after patryk the rep on here read this thred) and the loyalty i earned is beyond me belief that you guys support.

i am with you here. this is why i closed my betsafe account. i wish to see more members to post on THIS matter because is very wrong and should have been the main subject in the PAB.

I am confused here - are you saying that the OP held funds on other accounts with the same group and that the casino has locked all accounts AND kept his funds?? Surely that cannot be legal?

Are you sure they didn't send any money back, Betsson group does not send any e-mail even with normal withdrawals, have you look in to your bank statements?

When people feel that casino has taken their money, they always tend to tell us the approximate if not the exact sum. Why have you not told us? You were perfectly capable of telling us the amount you lost.

Did you actually have any serious balance left on those casinos? Based on what you have told us about your gambling habits, it's kinda hard to believe that you would leave huge sums on your accounts rather than gamble it away.

Some people only play with all lines active, which of course often leaves leftovers to the account.

The fact that you haven't told us even the approximate sum kinda gives image that it is just leftovers and couple dollars worth of comp points, since the place where you played most heavily recently, Betsafe, doesn't have comp points like Betsson and NordicBet. Whether consciously or subconsciously maybe you already know how insignificant that sum is compared to the sum you lost, but you don't want to verbalize it and write it down here, once you write that insignificant sum down here, it becomes psychologically impossible for you to redirect the anger you have for yourself over losing $24k, at the casinos who "stole" your couple dollars worth of comp points and leftover cents.

Just forgive yourself, accept your losses and move on.

If you really had a significant sum on the accounts, more than the minimum withdrawal requirement, it can't be that hard to tell atleast the order of magnitude of that sum.

I played with 200$ deposit and had extremely bad run so I continued to make deposit to see if things will even out or at least one single good bous round on any of their slot, well 5 hours later I have lost everything I had in my bank account...

That's pretty much what I do as well. And that is the reason I got a separate bank account.
I have a bank account that is very hard for me to access, I gotta go in person to a bank and sign several forms to release any of the money. So, if I ever get in one of those moods where I wanna keep on depositing there is a fail safe device there.

I cringe when I lose a single deposit of $50 at a casino, I can only imagine how bad it would feel losing $22k.
