Best place for Canadians to play?

here's an update...

Gigadat are upgrading their system due to capacity issues on their internal platform , they aim to have an improved e-transfer service to facilitate the high volumes and they estimate around 10 days

This will not affect the Interac online service they offer, players that are using both methods will be automatically directed to the Interac online service until the e-transfer is restored

oddly, some banks honour e transfer yet not interac (Im guessing banks, not ssystem)
but ty for the update

Since BMO switched their cards to Mastercard Debit, they no longer offer Interac Online. Generally, that's been a big improvement for me, not just with casinos, but online shopping in general. The only place it created an issue for me was with my cellular provider which does not accept Mastercard Debit, but does offer Interac. Gotta give Freedom Mobile a shout-out, as when I called to ask for a couple of days for a bank payment to be credited when I went to pay on due date, their solution was to give me a free month instead of a few more days to pay.

I've encountered a problem with Twin Casino unfortunately. Seems that they use two different processors, sometimes my card payments appear as from Twin, and all is good. At other times, they are from Oring (owner of Twin), and there is a premium of 2.6% charged. I get no warnings or pop-ups, and it's a few days later when it moves from pending to my account.

I really like Twin, but I'm not willing to pay extra to deposit. Payments team say it's Canadian Banks and there is nothing they can or will do about it. This is the only casino I've had an issue, other than once at a US facing casino a long time ago, which credited the fee after asking.

I tried something waiting for the results but I used my mastercard debit to deposit and now I requested a withdrawal on the same card after a decent run. Im waiting for the funds but so far its pending. We’ll see if it fails completely lol

I don't think there is anywhere that can pay to Mastercard Debit. I tried it recently at Twin, failed very quickly, and I was instructed to use e-transfer instead.

Other casinos I can either withdraw to bank and/or ecopayz.

So a bit of an update re Twin. I replied to their email, expressing disappointment, as I have really enjoyed playing with Twin, but that I was unwilling to play where it costs me extra to deposit, and asked if there was a way to block using that processor for me.

Ania said she would speak with the payments team, and she got back with a solution that "should" work. I will keep everyone updated.

I like that they treat me as a valuable customer, and have at least tried to implement a solution.

What happened to etransfer deposits?? Took a little break of a couple of weeks because too much work and now its gone. Someone figured it out?
literally answered in this thread :)

lol so true last etransfer before it went down said a # company at the top when I saw that I thought my etransfer gone it went through but now its down. me personally thinks that the casinos in uk malta have know way to let you withdraw this method because only in Canada so the offering it as withdraw to have to use 3rd party and they eatin the costs. so dont think the withdraw method going to stay back to banktransfer.

Heard it from Gigadat directly they hope to be back up and running within 10 days for e-transfers.
In the meantime been checking out other casinos with paysafe deposit options, and came across MyChance casino. Very very good site. They recently improved the layout too....you can see what provider a game is from just by hovering over the title. The games are sortable in a multitude of ways....excellent provider selection, even a surprise or two along the way ;) Have not withdrawn yet, but even the CS service was spot on, I have no apprehensions thus far.

I will chime in here an option in terms of getting an "Paysafecard" or even a "Ecovoucher" which I have used once for my Ecopayz account earlier this year if you don't want to go to a Canada Post store.

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

They accept Visa Debit ( small fee applies ) / interact online and... e-transfers. The first time buying one will take up to 24 hours in terms of getting verified, but my experience was in a few hours. I don't remember after buying an ecovoucher in my case how long it took for them to email me the code, but I believe it was within an hour.

I dont have any issues with Ecopayz but their fees, still a viable option when all else fails, I have used the Interac online to purchase Eco and Paysafe vouchers, w/d's are easy, bank transfer into account, takes about 3 days from time Eco withdrawal.

so, as Canuckleheads, where are the top three you're playing?
Been VS all year for me, but the way theyre going, may need a new haunt

Was playing at Trada, but ongoing issues while they sort out their mess. Been using Guts, MyChance and the provincial casino myself.
I've come to realize the perfect place to play simply doesn't exist for very long...if it all. Everything is constantly changing/evolving. VS is a no go for me since they screwed up my account royally last year, they were decent.

I'm giving playojo most my deposits now, vs is out for me so just twin and playojo. Only thing that drives me is Playojo I can only withdrawal once in a 3 day period. Even though the etransfer withdrawal is already in my bank it takes 1-2 days for it to drop as pending on their site so won't allow another withdrawal!! support was no help with this either, so putting up with it....and EVERYTIME I log in, it says resuming buffalo rising, what is with that! I have no pending spins etc. on it Lol...

ya ojo and vs mostly vs took a nice withdrawal there today 20 paysafe 400$ it on dreamcatcher. as for ojo no lockwithdraw I hit ready boys and girls on bonanza 2$ hit for 300$ I will take it why you can play bonanza there don't know. but they keep dangling the reverse withdraw when you go near deposit button then when I reverse 50$ they send me this shit about setting limits like I fucking gave it to them I says your an accredited casino stop enticing to reverse and your gambling set limits is insulting. lol

Agree...they need a lock and start being a more responsible casino, they will never admit to faults they just blame the player. I now avoid any contact with them its useless, just deposit and hope no issues come up.
Agreed. What really bothers me is they advertise on their site fast payouts. They claim that they aim to process all withdrawals within a few hours but will process them within 24. All of mine have been pending and reversible for at least 3 days after making them (not including weekends). Took me 5 and 6 days to get my last two withdrawals via e-transfer. Its too bad because I love the site layout and games they offer, but the withdrawals and customer service are becoming painfully slow.

I get my etransfer withdrawal the next day at 430 am again, use to be before 11am.. but maybe..just maybe when gigadat fixes their shit I'm hoping it goes back to when casino sends it which is next day morning. Fuck VS and any other casino that drops rtp and then brings in all new games at bets .40 cent min bet. Maybe my issues is cause red tiger has been my favorite provider for ever till this circus of lowest rtp crap. Detective wilder rtp 94.28 but min bet .40 I give up.

I’ve used TopmeUp many times in the past. I stopped after etransfer became more widely available, but since that has hit the ditch temporarily . . .
After verification, they always emailed me the paysafecard voucher code within the hour. Very reliable.

I'm not saying Twin.com, but Twin.com is the best.
(completely unbiased recommendation btw. )

Kind regards,

Kasper
Twin
if you dont have etransfer (dep and WD) , youre behind the Canadian curve

ya 75$ min deposit through gigadat I ripped them a new one called it illegal in Canada you can etransfer a 1$ so gigadat comes back with this 75$ min deposit for etransfer iam going to ask casinos I play at to remove that's nuts
well, I wouldn'y say illegal, they can set their own thresholds, but agreed, it's far too high; no reason it can't be 20, only costs 50 cents to a buck to send
of course, I've 9 clue of the fees/arrangements between them and the casino(s), but still, far, far too high and will drive players away

I don't think it was the casinos doing this, or is it?? and if it was/is it will be the last nail in the coffin, I never heard of a min $75 on any payment method so if it still is at that they are screwing us all over and we need to say something.
