Best place for Canadians to play?

here's an update...

Gigadat are upgrading their system due to capacity issues on their internal platform , they aim to have an improved e-transfer service to facilitate the high volumes and they estimate around 10 days

This will not affect the Interac online service they offer, players that are using both methods will be automatically directed to the Interac online service until the e-transfer is restored

oddly, some banks honour e transfer yet not interac (Im guessing banks, not ssystem)
but ty for the update

Since BMO switched their cards to Mastercard Debit, they no longer offer Interac Online. Generally, that's been a big improvement for me, not just with casinos, but online shopping in general. The only place it created an issue for me was with my cellular provider which does not accept Mastercard Debit, but does offer Interac. Gotta give Freedom Mobile a shout-out, as when I called to ask for a couple of days for a bank payment to be credited when I went to pay on due date, their solution was to give me a free month instead of a few more days to pay.

I've encountered a problem with Twin Casino unfortunately. Seems that they use two different processors, sometimes my card payments appear as from Twin, and all is good. At other times, they are from Oring (owner of Twin), and there is a premium of 2.6% charged. I get no warnings or pop-ups, and it's a few days later when it moves from pending to my account.

I really like Twin, but I'm not willing to pay extra to deposit. Payments team say it's Canadian Banks and there is nothing they can or will do about it. This is the only casino I've had an issue, other than once at a US facing casino a long time ago, which credited the fee after asking.

I tried something waiting for the results but I used my mastercard debit to deposit and now I requested a withdrawal on the same card after a decent run. Im waiting for the funds but so far its pending. We’ll see if it fails completely lol

I don't think there is anywhere that can pay to Mastercard Debit. I tried it recently at Twin, failed very quickly, and I was instructed to use e-transfer instead.

Other casinos I can either withdraw to bank and/or ecopayz.

So a bit of an update re Twin. I replied to their email, expressing disappointment, as I have really enjoyed playing with Twin, but that I was unwilling to play where it costs me extra to deposit, and asked if there was a way to block using that processor for me.

Ania said she would speak with the payments team, and she got back with a solution that "should" work. I will keep everyone updated.

I like that they treat me as a valuable customer, and have at least tried to implement a solution.

What happened to etransfer deposits?? Took a little break of a couple of weeks because too much work and now its gone. Someone figured it out?

nope only them no bank in Ontario takes interac online if you have visa debit only thing I do is send etransfer to pcgamesupply and buy paysafe. the banks in Canada are slowly telling us how we can spend our money assholes.

They will eventually figure it out. But gigadat is owned by triton which is runned by a very clever guy. They will continue changing name randomly from time to time and interac won’t do anything about it. Banks, processors, igaming kingpins and santa claus are all friends anyway. Remember, a big profit matters... not you.

lol so true last etransfer before it went down said a # company at the top when I saw that I thought my etransfer gone it went through but now its down. me personally thinks that the casinos in uk malta have know way to let you withdraw this method because only in Canada so the offering it as withdraw to have to use 3rd party and they eatin the costs. so dont think the withdraw method going to stay back to banktransfer.

Or you can charge everyone that profits from a gamblers lost. Split the cost between the casino, the affiliates and pay gigadat their cut.

Heard it from Gigadat directly they hope to be back up and running within 10 days for e-transfers.
In the meantime been checking out other casinos with paysafe deposit options, and came across MyChance casino. Very very good site. They recently improved the layout too....you can see what provider a game is from just by hovering over the title. The games are sortable in a multitude of ways....excellent provider selection, even a surprise or two along the way ;) Have not withdrawn yet, but even the CS service was spot on, I have no apprehensions thus far.

I will chime in here an option in terms of getting an "Paysafecard" or even a "Ecovoucher" which I have used once for my Ecopayz account earlier this year if you don't want to go to a Canada Post store.

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

They accept Visa Debit ( small fee applies ) / interact online and... e-transfers. The first time buying one will take up to 24 hours in terms of getting verified, but my experience was in a few hours. I don't remember after buying an ecovoucher in my case how long it took for them to email me the code, but I believe it was within an hour.

I dont have any issues with Ecopayz but their fees, still a viable option when all else fails, I have used the Interac online to purchase Eco and Paysafe vouchers, w/d's are easy, bank transfer into account, takes about 3 days from time Eco withdrawal.
