Belle Rock Advertising On UK TV.

Admittedly I don't watch much TV and I never watch Ads, but while I was whizzing through some at 30x speed tonight I saw seperate Gaming Club and Jackpot City casino/bingo ads. Unusual as its normally only the bookies you see on TV.

Anyone else seen them and have these been on long?

Yes I have seen these ads. They are usually run late evening and into the early hours. You will never see them say in the middle of Corrie!

The most common one I have seen is for Bet365 promoting their bet in play action, usually advertised during football matches. Ok it is a sportsbook but it is promoting their online play.

When gambling ads were first to be allowed on UK tv there was an outcry, that there would be a tidal wave of adverts and turn the UK into a nation of gamblers. Its never really happened like this.

Seems the bigger brands prefer to target sporting events and bill boards to get their exposure.

Yeah you cant escape the Bet365 one if you watch footie lol. See Laddies from time to time too. This is the first overseas brand one I can remember seeing though.

I've seen them, and ones for a few other casinos. Usually they are later at night, and target audiences who probably gamble anyway. Some gambling brands also sponsor TV shows, which gets them a brief ad at the beginning, and at the end of each ad break.
