started playing at BETFRED,played avalon for a few days its 96.01% it always seems to need a lot of spins to get feature, i have played this slot for years at various casinos but its takeing over 200 plus to get feature and today 627 spins which paid £70 all at £2 a spin, so carried on with the hope that its now playing 158 spins later busted out. guess where im not playing anymore.

You should know by now steveyboy that it seems they've all been gimped, my favourite IMortal has changed beyond what it once was. Seems the gimped versions have followed via all the classics.

Yer & the base game hits whilst playing has also disappeared, at least on IM, not so sure about others as I've not played them in a while, I'm just saying before my break they've been poor.
Used to see Amber hits quite often but when I last played it was loads of 3oak low paying over the times I had played it.

Classic medium variance Microgaming fans looking for something even vaguely as good as their heyday output could do worse than check out their new slot African Guardians.

OK it's a straight reskin of IR with an Africa theme, but it has that 2012-2014 'feel' to it, and the African savannah at night is a fairly picturesque place to hang out.

Bit of a pickle for developers, because people play these games for the 'gameplay' as opposed to say the high-variance Megaways monsters of today, and couldn't care less about multipliers or stoned caterpillars.

Yet developers see that they're effectively losing money to the competition, as 96% just won't do.

So they butcher the classics like Avalon, and soon realize that if people are going to be shafted, then it won't be on archaic games like Avalon, because they weren't that great to begin with.

And so end up playing the scratchcard games of today, because at least they smile as they mug you. Bravo Microgaming, BRAVO! (standing ovation)

Oh Holy Day, bit slow on the draw here, but just noticed Microgaming have cloned Immortal Romance yet again, Wild Wild Romance hehe

More features to unlock!

Cloned = Copying an old heavily played popular game whilst simultaneously knackering the math, gimping the RTP all whilst hoping time served players won't notice, think its the same as the games we loved from yesteryear but really placing a rusty broken water pipe where the sun don't shine.

:D
It's honestly fine, the clones both play very nicely indeed. The same perfectly balanced gameplay as the original. RTP 96.8% (offshore).

Just amusing they have to reach so far back into the past for a decent maths model that isn't either insanely volatile or plain boring.
