I see that there are still many sites that offer bonuses. However i remember back in the old days there were true bonuses. I recalled there was either 1 or 2 online casinos where they gave you a $100 bonus and you had to deposit $100 i believe. Then i go and play minimum $1 blackjack and rollover was very low. I dont remember how much but i believe you should be profiting a good portion of that $100. I see there is a thread posted here
called missing the old days and that is what i mean by that. I probably did only a few sites only back then very few probably max of 2. I read back then many people did these bonuses a lot with reloads where there were true bonuses.

I play poker on pokerstars, 888 etc. Have accounts there and on partypoker as well and see they have live casinos for all. These sites offer match bonuses etc. But i guess the rollover is not worth it right? For example, stars offers up to $400 bonus if you deposit $200 into the casino. It says you need to earn 3 starscoins per dollar to earn the bonus.

Live Baccarat $30
Live Blackjack $44
Live Caribbean Stud Poker $18
Live Casino Hold’em $15
Live Roulette** $12
Live Three Card Poker $9

So this means if you want to do this through live blackjack, you have to wager $44 x 3 = $132. Then $132 x 400 = $52,800?

Thus if you want to get the $400 casino bonus and play it only through live blackjack, you have to wager $52800 before you can cashout everything? Thus basically no bonus is worth it because of the rollover right? Whats confusing is what if you dont complete the rollover? Let say you wagered a total of $500. And say you won $30. So basically you can forfeit the bonus and then cashout the $30? But say you wagered a total of $500 only. You lost $50. You surrender the bonus. You basically just lose your $50 and thats all?

Basically no bonuses through online casinos are worth it right due to the extreme rollover requirements? Im wondering does anyone know what is the expected loss if you played $5 blackjack per hand and wagered a total of $52800 while playing perfect blackjack strategy? Isn't the house edge 0.5% for house if played perfect strategy?

Thus in order to get the $400 bonus, it will be $52800 x 0.5% = $ 264. Thus the EV of this is actually positive and thus $ 400 - $264 = $134? Or is this math wrong since the huge rollover almost always means -EV? I assume 888 and partycasino if you want to play live dealer, the bonus conditions might be worst than pokerstars? I know that i wont play any casino game against the house such as online blackjack that is like auto machine. Thus i would only play live dealer as its more legit.

Can someone tell me if any signup bonuses or reload bonuses nowadays are even worth it? Or its a complete waste of time? And if i do play live dealer, best to just not deal with any bonus ? Also do you people say completely avoid online casino that isn't live dealer? I definitely feel thats rigged. But live dealer, well that is more legit.

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!

IMO Signup Bonuses for Live Casino are not worth it. You've already done the math, the high wagering requirements make it near impossible to meet. I never take a Bonus for Live Casino. The only promotional offers I take is a free bet, which isn't free as it comes attached with low wagering and winnings are generally capped at a certain amount.

Casinos are starting to realise the true value of a Live casino player and I know they are struggling to finds ways to attract players. My favourite way would be a decent cashback on losses, perhaps tiered on the value of deposits you make. This is what high rollers negotiate in land based casinos, so why should online be any different.

I'm not sure online casinos games per se are rigged, all I know is I can't see how they work because they are computer programs using random number generators. Real cards shuffled and dealt in front of you in real time is about as real as it gets. I know which I prefer to play. You should still make sure you're playing at an accredited casino because the honesty of the casino is as important as the honestly of the games.

I'm sure that with live table games your balance is unlikely to fluctuate much, even over prolonged play, hence the high associated wagering.

It may take hours and be boring as hell, but is certainly doable, provided you're happy to break even at the end of it.

But why do that when you can lose your money on slots in twenty minutes flat?

Lets do the math on the 52,800 play through requirement using Blackjack as an example.

12 hands per hour on the average table. Say you're an average player playing 15 a hand.

That's 15 x 12 = 180 wagered an hour. 293 hours solid play, or 12 days. Likelihood if you play for say 3 hours a day, that's 36 days just to clear wagering of a measly 400.

I agree stick to slots if you want to take a bonus.

Them good ole bonus are long gone,

Any casino doing that now days and they will be out of business in days,

Take note with all the bloody rules that come with a live bonus or games table bonus, Only bet % of table, Max bet, You be there for decades doing the wage,

Hey guys thanks for the response. So you telling me almost no casino out there for online casinos has a signup bonus that is worth it right? The only ones i thought of playing was pokerstars and 888 because its legit sites.

I had thought about playing at the stars casino because they offer up to $400 bonus on a $200 deposit. But if rollover is $52800, i mean theres a very good chance i can go bust even betting $5 a hand right? Also someone mentioned playing 12 hands per hour. Where do you come up with that number? That is way too low. Do you mean more like 30? Also live casino is the only type of online casino i would play if i do. But does anyone here think playing the online casino that is blackjack, roulette or slots that isn't live table games probably a very bad idea? I mean do most of you believe its rigged?

Another thing i want to ask. I took a look at this site and saw the top online casinos listed. Are most of these legit? The thing is i always thought online casinos were shady where if they aren't shady, they would scam you etc and thus most sites take deposits but don't pay out. But its not really like this?

I've just started playing poker myself and I've noticed that as well; the poker rooms all have casinos attached. They try to attract poker players to the casino area; probably because casino players generate more profit than poker players.

There are many casino bonuses that are profitable. But, it's not really worth anyone's time as the profit is often very slim.

Thus in order to get the $400 bonus, it will be $52800 x 0.5% = $ 264. Thus the EV of this is actually positive and thus $ 400 - $264 = $134? Or is this math wrong since the huge rollover almost always means -EV?
Your math is right. But, the risk of busting is high because the minimum bet for BJ is very high at most live casinos. Not to mention the bonus cannot be bet on, most casino bonuses give you the bonus up front so you can use it as well as your own deposit to meet the wagering requirements.

Another thing, if the blackjack has a HE of 0.7% instead of 0.5% you are looking at a profit of ~$3.
The live casino BJ I've looked at all have a HE in the range of 0.6% - 0.7%. Be very careful that you know exactly the HE of the BJ you are playing.

Just from your inexperience, my advice would be to not risk your money. Stick to poker mate

It's a complete waste of time. As I said above, there's money to be made but very little.

Also do you people say completely avoid online casino that isn't live dealer? I definitely feel thats rigged. But live dealer, well that is more legit.
I wouldn't be too concerned about rigged software until you are very confident that it is rigged.
