I cant believe people can get so hooked on gambling that they would put their hard earned money into a gaming site knowing full well that they probably wont get paid. won back in jan and believe me it was the last time i deposited and that will be the last time. not everyone is hooked on gambling. but those who deposit in good faith should be rewarded their winnings just as these sites were awarded their deposits. whats your point for posting?

Here's the deal. For years, many of us played these casino's, got paid in a matter of day's when we won, and had no reason to think we wouldn't get paid.
Yes, some (but not all) knew about the "crack down" on casino payments. But the casinos took our deposits, therefore they should honor our withdrawals. Simple as that! Few said anything about continuing to gamble. Many were told there was no problem.

I can still deposit and do. Not that I suggest doing so until things are straightened out, but I took another 3K on a $50 deposit and expect to get paid. I know I will one way or the other. But guess what, I had fun getting there too. Cheap night out! But I guess I coulda put in a $1.50 Rambo movie instead.

I guess really what I'm saying here is, and I think I can speak for at least some of the others who are waiting for payment, what the hell is so funny? If you are so "baffled" then move on to something else.
Anyway I'm glad you're getting your entertainment here, and that you think that this is all so hilarios. You've made me laugh for sure. :cool:

It ain't over til it's over Johnny :D But it is a little wierd out there, for sure. I'm mostly just low-rolling, checking out casinos and softwares I never would have before. When I stack up a win i just let it sit for the most part, it's not like its milk money or anything. I happen to love slots on PC and the funplay just doesn't get it sometimes.

I definitely changed my whole approach in January. I was just lucky I had less than a grand sitting out there. Now, instead of making money online to pay for my B&M trips, I'm working like everyone else and actually saving money for vacations. It sucks, but I got used to it quick, what else is a gambler to do?

If I happen to parlay some modest online slot sessions into a decent bankroll, I'll just be patient - vigilant and patient;) and I'll eventually get my money. If not, oh well, it was coffee and donut money anyway and I bought some entertainment. Only three months 'til Vegas. I'm not obsessed, I'm passionate!!!

i have been waiting since jan15 was wondering if anybody been paid yet its going on 3 months for me played on golden palace and told 6 different dates and no check ,told fedex by last friday ,no fedex its getting old i just want my winnings i don't think that is to much to ask:mad:

Yep, Deposited a total of $600, Won $1900 at Roulette, Feb 11th 2007,
$1800 withdrawal request Ignored. Have Closed Credit card account
and started filing subpeona, GC Claim Sevices as Toys and Gifts to
the credit card companies, which is not the case. Good chance of getting
my $600 Back.
Last year, I won $1300, then $1500 from Golden Palace, which was paid
promptly. That was the good times!

Hi all...I'm new here and I thought I'd chime in with my experience...

I've been waiting for a $500 withdrawal since early February, but the clerks have been honest with me, saying up front that it's going to take several weeks because of processor problems.

Maybe I'm naive but I believe them and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. There must be a huge run on the bank that no one expected with most Americans getting out of online gambling altogether. That's a heck of a lot of withdrawals! The few processors who are left must be overloaded like crazy.

And just because this is my first post, please don't think I'm a shill. I'm just a regular player and I'll be posting more about other stuff too.

I just wish I had discovered this forum earlier so I could have avoided being stiffed in the past. Oh well, never too late I guess.

Please stop shouting.

Players can tell who to avoid and treat w/caution by the numbers and substance of complaints on the board. Slamming casinos during 'negotiations' can hinder chances of a favorable resolution.

And the CM has been doing this a long time so he knows what he's talking about ....

Golden Palace has always been on the casinomeister's list of 'naughties' especially for their freakies and streakies. When he is trying to solve an issue through negotiations, it's always correct to temporarily stop slamming the casino in the hope of a satisfactory outcome. This happens in negotiation tables all over the world. Any emotional outbursts may be soothing for a while but will definitely hamper the chances of reaching a satisfactory solution. Come on, you know that CM will be quick to rogue a casino when he sees it fit to do so. Just scroll down the rogue and non-recommended list. A wee bit of patience is required at this juncture.

To ask you to wait since Jan 15 for payout is a joke. A win is not a win until it is PAID! If these casinos can't pay US players they need to stop accepting our monies. At that point we can assume online gambling is done for US players. However, when they continue to take our deposits they allow us to think it is business as usual as we have come to expect since October of 2006.

I think u are in denial my friend, IT IS OVER. Dont u read the thousands of complaints that no one is getting paid? Playing online casinos is simply pissing money away as of feb 1st of this year. I wont miss it a bit.

$3K on a lousy $50.00. Whoa! Now that is worth the aggravation! Same as my $10K. I have never complained about they way I hit at River Belle. It has always been a good casino and I can completely understand what you did. Like you said its a cheap night out! Can't go nowhere for $50.00 bucks and not spend $50.00 in gas getting there and back. Congrats! I really wish the meister could make us pass an intelligent test to get into this forum. We are getting some unsavory political very rude patrons. I will just be ignoring them. You did what you did - No shame to your game!

I originally called them golden palace casino and requested an edit to correct the name to golden casino. Thats all :) Anyway, I have been online researching all day trying to find out their gaming software support and who they play under. Here's the scoop:

I gave golden casino yet another call today and spoke with Denise ie.,
Supervisor in charge I guess, anyway, I was just confirming what I was told by 2 different agents this past week that my checks had been sent out on the 3rd and to expect them on the 13th. Well she goes on to tell me she has this list that has all the names of the players that have been mailed checks and that my name wasnt on the list.................... I went off. Im like, :what: what the hell, Im not on that list? she says Im sorry but your not. I said then why did 2 different agents tell me my checks were in the mail with dates on when to expect them. She says I dont have any access to the dates etc. I ask her " as a supervisor what is it that you do have access to"? She starts this crap about dont blame us for your checks being delayed yaddi yaddi yaddi blame your government not us. Now Im pissed, I said my government has nothing to do with your accepting us players, taking our money when you didnt have a bank to fund your checks. I said its so wrong what you are doing to me. I told her that they should have disclosed that information before they took my money, not afterwards, that it was bs that I cant get a straight answer from anyone. So then I ask her " who are you licensed under, she says Kahnawake, I tell her, wrong answer, it Curacao jusisdiction, and she starts giving me all this info like, Oh Im sorry, when we were Golden Palace,,,, what? golden palace, she say yes we had to change our name because we couldnt find a bank, for 3wks they were without a bank and mind you they were still accepting deposits from us customers. thats messed up, no wonder they are behind. just think if they hadnt founda bank? Or did they? So they decided to go with golden casino and separate themselves from the palace group. Now they are using Odds On software which was absorbed by vegas technologies in the L&G group earlier this year.
Something isnt right here but cant figure it out, they were with cyber world group, they've been around since 1997. Im so confused but Im gonna get paid. What puzzles me is they said they use to be golden palace, well golden palace is still running, so are they running both casinos under different licenses? What do you think? Im so pissed right now, I told her that Panama wouldnt be a problem for me to hop a jet and go see them face to face and get my money directly from them since they are so backed up, I could help them out. Not that I want to go to that extreem but for $30,000 I will.

Right answer, wrong excuse.

Golden Palace had to stop accepting US players on the Playtech platform due to Playtech asking them to, it had nothing to do with the US Government at the time - the real DoJ led crisis came later. Odds-on, like RTG, were happy for operators to attempt to still market to the US customer base. Naturally, the needed a new name, and it seems a juristiction outside of the USA and Canada (just in case).

Changing name from Golden Palace to Golden Casino will do nothing to improve their chances of getting a new processor. Which of the two names is more likely to look like a casino?
Had they shown significant imagination, they could have chosen a name that sounded like it was an online fantasy gaming service, and this should have made it far easier to trick a US bank or two, at least for a while.
It looks like Golden Casino launched in the HOPE that it would quickly team up with a new processor. This didn't happen, and hence the delays.
It could very well be that anyone contacting support will be lead to believe that they are an unfortunate victim of some internal cock-up, and that all will be fixed. If this were true, players will start to reply to this thread to say that they have now received one of these cheques, and that it cleared.
