Anjouan-licensed casinos

A lot of reliable and reputable casinos too are located under this license - for reasons one can only speculate in - but it's not like Anjouan is entirely a cesspit of operations with bad intentions which I feel is a narrative several are trying to enforce.

I mostly play in casinos formerly under Dama and Hollycorn's Curacao license now moved to Anjouan and have only good experiences to report, including strict but no-hassle verification and KYC, smooth transactions - both to and from, 1st class customer care, and solid products all over.

One important thing we need to talk about is the licensing fees. For Curacao the government fees plus the licensing cost ends up being over €50000 a year for B2C and for Anjoun its €18000 plus the government fee which is way lower than Curaçao. Tobique is in the range of €35000-€40000. The renewal fee is also cheaper for Anjoun and Tobique . Thats also a reason why a lot of good casinos switched to them.

i recommend that u teat anjouan license casnios the way we treated curacao ones a few years ago.

now most curacaos are fine (some black sheep remain ofc)

i had some good experiences on anjouan ones already but i read a lot about shady ones. once a gain, your own research is very important when chosing a casino.

Rather than covering Anjouan, why not cover the very real problem of Non Gamstop sites, that target vulnerable players who have signed up to the self exclusion service Gamstop?

There are countless affiliate sites targeting the UK with Non Gamstop related search terms in google.

Furthermore, you are also in a great position to promote responsible gambling tools such as BetBlocker.org.

Just a thought...

Aside from the fundamental questions about the legal validity of the Anjouan license, I see it as Curaçao circa 2005-15: a ruleless free-for-all if that's what you want it to be OR a place to go about your business with modest cost and nobody hounding you over bureaucracy.

In other words good operators and bad are using the Anjouan license, and that's kind of the point isn't it: it all comes down to the operator, some of which are among the best in the business.

There are a good many casinos with a UKGC license, for instance, that are only as good as the law forces them (convincingly) to be. The player-casino relationship could very well be much better with an Anjouan casino if that was the way the casino wanted to conduct their business, and a fair few do exactly that.

It would make a nice change for a more indepth article delving into why players decide to go and play offshore.

The most contributing factor is the over regulation in the UK markets that drives players away from UK regulated casinos. Matters such as max £5 stake, no auto play, no quick spins, intruding SOW requests, no bonus offers / incentives / VIP treatment, over taxation on operators resulting in lower RTP slots etc. enforced by Government are to blame for the increase in offshore casinos. Prior to this over regulation there were already tools available to players such as breaks from gambling, loss / deposit limits and self exclusion options.

Basically, because some can't control their gambling habits and seek to blame all but themselves, those that can control their gambling had to suffer leaving them to play elsewhere.

I play offshore for these reasons and have not experienced any issues whatsoever. When I have a winning session and cash out, this is processed immediately. You just have to be careful which casino you choose to play on, so research is critical.
