Whine and Moan Am I right in having a moan?

In November I started getting error messages on the MG software using a casino which I won't mention as I don't think it would be fair to name and shame them. The error says "connection failure" and when I first reported it in November I was told it was a problem at my end and not the casino's or MG's. We then got a new laptop, router and upgraded the internet and the problem still existed, later on in January I was then told that the problem is with MG and not at my end.

So knowing that this error amongst other errors that have continuously interrupted playing, the fact that I was told the problem was mine to then be told it was not, then the fact it has been happening for four months with no light at the end of the tunnel, do I have a right to moan at the casino or not?

Don't get me wrong I know the error would not affect the outcome of the spin, but it does stop your game play and when you've been playing for hours to just end up with an error that takes 10minutes at times to sort out and return to the game, then this does affect the possibility of hitting the bonus which clearly is the aim of the game. It also does not happen with other MG casinos which I have tried loads and it just seems to be a problem with this particular casino. I've tried everything they have wanted me to do, and although yes they have been helpful apart from not having a solution or keeping me updated on the issue I just think they are taking the piss now, especially when I have been loyal and patient with them. I've just this second un-installed the software and have no intention of installing it again.

So to reiterate the question again, do I have a point for getting pissed off and telling them or not? and has anyone else ever had this problem?

I don't think that such issues impact your chances of getting the bonus.

If you've been a customer for a while, and they have tried to help, I'd do them the courtesy of a short email or a PM to the rep here to let them know why you are no longer playing.

"Dear XXXX Casino:

While I've enjoyed my time with your casino, recent disconnection issues have ruined my enjoyment of play. I've tried all of your previous suggestions, and I'm not willing to put any more effort into solving them."

Other than what Jasminebed said, I don't think there's much else you can do.
I'm sure the casino (who ever it is) would rather solve the problem & have you as a happy player if they could - but it's probably something beyond their control.
I would just say goodbye to this casino & play at one where you don't get these annoying problems.

Hi Jasminebed,

I know were your coming from but I disagree on the bonus part. I 100% agree that the outcome of the result/spin would not be affected but incidentally if you have been playing for example, 3 hours, and you have not hit the bonus and you get this error that happens which then freezes the software by "not responding" and there is a wait until it stops, re-logs back in, start the game up....surely their is a good chance of missing hitting it in that time you've been messing about getting it back on.

I have been a customer for a while and they have been great to be fair, they acknowledged the problem in the end but still have not rectified it. They could have kept me updated more even if they had nothing to report which would have at least left me knowing it was taken seriously. I have just spoke to them though and they have assured me they are looking into it and I hope they really do get it sorted soon as I will not play anywhere else until they sort it and I can play again without the errors :)

I do think I may have got a little stressed while emailing them but they understand why after 4 months of figuring it out.

Thanks for your reply though :)

It's really frustrating to be disconnected and it happened a lot with my old computer. What I wonder shanetospin, is why it takes 10 minuts to get back in to the game when it disconnect?
Even back then it only took me a minut or two, so I didn't think it was so bad.
You don't close the casino down totally and then reopen it do you?

I think that's why I have been so patient with it as I know its now not the casinos fault, but its also not mine. Sometimes I just think well why would they care about one customer when they are likely to have millions. I guess these things happen though and that's just the way the cookie crumbles :) I've told them that the enjoyment has gone and closed my accounts with them and they kindly said they will still keep me updated on the problem. I'm now casinoless lmao as I only really liked this one. Maybe I'll have to go back to Ladbrokes for now Eeeeeeek lol

Thanks for your reply :)

Hiya :)

When the error message pops up, it used to just go off and log me out- but then it started causing the software to "not respond" which can be anything from 10 seconds to ten minutes to sort it out. If it happens now I just end task as it is quicker to restart the software then it is to wait.

The strange thing is that you had the problems on your last computer, and now also on the new lap-top. I don't know much about computers really but I read in a thread a few days ago where seventh explained about different IP-adresses. How they worked and that they could cause problems like that.
I see if I find the thread or if he reads this.
Why I believe so is because it doesn't happen to everyone so why did you got the problem on two different computers?

Well I thought it was my problem when I first highlighted it and they said it was likely to be at my end. But they have said it is a problem that others have reported and they are talking with developers on the issue. So it is deffo nothing to do with my laptop or anything on my part. It's just a case of having to wait to see if it gets fixed or not.

I had the same issue a few weeks ago when I had a long session on IR,I actually made a post on the issue as I was on the verge of elbow dropping my laptop.

Whilst we (me and shane-brothers) are on the same internet connection, surely it can't be because of that as like he said we upgraded the internet to the fastest speed available (soon to be doubled due to the generosity of Sir Richard Branson/Usain Bolt) and certainly can't be the issue when several of us here in this forum have had this issue.

Exactly, but also just to add in-case anyone else thinks that it is to do with I.P addresses I have also used next doors internet which they themselves do not gamble on any site, also I have used a friends internet at his house resulting in the same problem. It is a fact that the issue lies with MG and the casino in question as it only happens on this particular casino for some reason or another.
