So yesterday I made a deposit on All-Star slots using CC and my card was charged twice by two of their processors. I noticed this instantly and emailed them right away, this morning I get an email that states the funds will be credited back to my card and if the transaction is pending to wait 48 hours.

Next, I see a credit in my casino account for $54(amount of deposit). I initially deposited this amount yesterday and lost so my balance was 0 prior to the credit. Now the support is telling me that my card wont be refunded because I played with what they put in my account.

The issue is that I only deposited once and without consulting me they just put the money in my account for the second of the double charge. So basically they are getting two deposits and the second one being unauthorized. How is this a fair action? I was subjected to a double charge which is bad enough in the first place, and the way they rectify the situation is by keeping the second deposit and just assuming its all right to credit me with casino funds?

I hope that someone here from All-Star will resolve this problem because that is simply not fair.

Ok well first off I saw your post yesterday. It wasnt a simple case of them just charging the card twice. I believe you said that you attempted to deposit, it didnt go thru, and then you tried an alternative processor. Just need to make sure all details are there. As I said yesterday sometimes the first charge goes through and it can get screwed up byt refreshing or exiting out and, you dont get credit for it and it hits your card. So this may be an explanation for the first transaction you thought failed going through.

I understand your point of the issue. Basically you were not intending for 2 charges. The problem is when you saw the credit for the amount of your deposit today, you should have probably questioned it before you played it. If it was myself( I have seen and experienced it all through my own actions and the actions of all the great member here) I probably would have questioned it. Remember like you said you knew of the problem immediatley so you should have thought something was weird when you saw the credit.

Now let me just clear up one thing, did you get this email saying they would credit it back and then you had the $54.00 balance afterwards? If so that may be your only angle. You got an email saying it would be credited saw the balance, thought the credit was being cleared up and that may have been a comp for the problem. Casinos are sometimes nice and do issue comps. But if they emailed confirmation of a credit being issued they should have not left a balance in there, especially if they were expediting the process for the problem.

In this scenario I am stuck in the middle. I dont think you were trying to do anything malicious, and I understand the frustration of one of these duplicate charges, but again you should have questioned the balance.

Anyways lesson to be learned is always question balances you dont know about. If you need help email the rep from Clubworld and they will anwser any questions.

First of all, I understand what your saying about exiting too quick from the deposit section or clicking refresh. What happened in my situation is the first deposit got declined and I checked my card and nothing was charged, it was after the second deposit that the two charges showed up.

As far as playing the balance, I did assume it was a comp for the double charge and I have gotten comps before from casinos for other payment processor issues. Though I do understand your point of questioning the account balance but I honestly did assume it was a comp and maybe that was my mistake.

The fact remains is that I emailed support right away and explicitly stated that I wanted the charge reversed on my card, never was there a mention of a casino credit.

This is the initial email I got:
Hello Jake,

Hope all is well.

We have checked the charge and this should drop back into your account.

However if this does charge the account can you please send us a statement and highlight the charge and we will check this again.

But at the moment it does look like it will drop off.

Kind Regards

So with this email and them saying if the charge does not drop off to send them a statement with the charge, I assumed that that it was going to be settled via a reversal not a credit with the casino.

for all players, the state of Nevada and New Jersery USA has

Nevada and New Jersery has signed the bill and has made online casino gaming legal, Hopefully, they will pay and pay quicker than the other bozo's...I'm glad because I am fed up with the lame excuses of the over seas Casinosand the 3rd party processor's B.S.

Im not bashing All Star or Club world here, that is not my intention. I just want a wrong to be rectified, I understand they are accredited and a good group and the US states signing those laws does not really apply to this situation.
