WARNING Affiliates Who Target Problem Gamblers

Hi,

Thank you, I have forwarded this to the appropriate department.

On a side note to this, I want to ask the community if it would be interesting to have a small webinar around GiG Comply, our marketing compliance tool. So you can better understand the dynamics of how it works?

The affiliate has now been shut down @colinsunderland

Funny, they are still listed, and the link (below) still works fine

Outdated URL (Invalid) . com/en-gb/?btag=658945_831839CB2AF6434C81163ACA53696B5B&affid=658945&bid=1546&pid=1102404

Still in breach of the CAP code, although they have removed the non gamstop links from the page.

A shame @L&L-Jan seems happy to let them continue too, another casino listed on there with not a single term or condition of the bonus.

I would be interested in that :)

Sure, interested too :)

I'm in :)

@colinsunderland Even though the link might still work, the affiliate have been removed and payments stopped.
ok, 404'ing the link would be what I would do, forgetting about the non gamstop side, the adverts aren't CAP compliant and I think you would struggle to not be found responsible if the links are still active. If you dont want to 404 then a holding page stating 'this affiliate has no active agreement with us' would do the same ;)

Hello, my name is Hampus and I'm the affiliate manager at Cashmio.

We at Cashmio have been taking action on this matter and all the content about Cashmio has been removed. Our listing was removed in the spring of 2019 but the review where still there, however it's now removed.

Well thats not quite true is it?

So just been browsing the other casinomir sites, disappointed to see certain casinos still have affiliate agreements with them

Outdated URL (Invalid) . com/de/

Cashmio
Dunder
LeoVegas
MrGreen
Guts
Karamba
Volt

@Esko - GiG Affiliates you said in post 230 you had terminated the affiiate's accounts, yet 3 MTST casinos are still advertising on there. Duncan also said you had confirmed to him the same thing (post 232).

Well done to the casinos who did actually terminate agreements with these scum affiliates, those who didn't, well you are no better than them.

The most depressing page I saw was masquerading as a review of the Gamban software to help problem gamblers - which prominently links to a "Casinos Not On GamStop" section. Apologies if this was already posted somewhere. Thread is massive.

@colinsunderland - I'm afraid that's not how the links works. You can type in any affiliate ID in the link and the link will still work.
Main thing is that they are suspended from our end.

Unfortunately several months on from when this thread was last posted in, the proliferation of sites specifically setup to target gamstop related terms in google and thus the targeting of problem gamblers, who have self excluded continues.

The Gambling Commission should be tackling head on this issue, instead of deliberating whether to bring in max bet limits on slot machines IMO.

Here is our latest piece on this over at Casino Gazette: Non GamStop Sites a Very Real Problem - The UKGC Turning a Blind Eye

What is shocking to me, is that the UKGC has shown no interest whatsoever in tackling this problem. I think I mentioned months ago in the Casinomeister awards that the UKGC has the UK government at their disposal to do something. Sadly, it's not important enough to spend some time doing google searches on these companies - hell, they could hire some interns to do this.

The repulsive Casinomir site that preys on problem gamblers has managed to SEO its way to the #3 search result on Google for the word "GamStop". Just behind GamStop itself, and Gamstop's Twitter account. Clearly Google don't give a rat's ass either

yep and despite numerous reps claiming to have closed accounts, go to the de site i linked to a few posts above and we still see

leovegas
cashmio
mrgreen
karamba

So clearly they are happy to still pay casinomir, even though they have a whole site dedicated to luring in problem gamblers

@Cashmio Affiliate any reason you are still paying them? or @LeoVegas Affiliates ? @MrGreen&Evoke Aff. Manager ?

Not sure where to post this ad i got, but i assume i can here.

Now where is that game, where you can get several million $ symbol?

And abusing streamers too?

How do Facebook Even allow this

Not sure if this one fits in but its got some respectable names at top and then links to casino's not covered by Gamstop once you scroll down. Under Non-UK casino's accepting UK players.

For f's sake shepherding the poor unfortunate sods to Leo Monaco and Gale & Martin. They'd be better off just directing them to free play sites. Probably more chance of getting paid out!

Just spotted the other establishments listed below the great 'Bronze Casino'

Who knew Pornhub weren't linked to Gamstop
Won't get affiliate income from me - I'm already signed up to Pornhub :) You got to be some real ethically challenged scumbag to target problem gamblers, people lose their lives over this shit.

Oops thought this was a new thread - sorry guys, new here
