I was happy to receive an email from Intertops today announcing the launch of their new casino. I verified with in Chat that they will continue to have "Intertops Red" on RTG which they launched after Black Friday several years ago. Admittedly, I have never had much luck there with one exception--a $3000 win which I foolishly played back a few years ago.

Still, variety is the spice of life and are any of us American players not sick of RTG?

Yes, there are Liberty Slots and Lincoln on WGS platform from the same mysterious group that has refused to divulge exactly who they are which personally makes me nervous. Also, Deck Media (Sloto) has Miami Club on this platform but for personal reasons I do not play at this group.

Intertops is the first relaunch of the English Harbour WGS software from an operator that I genuinely trust to provide excellent service, fair and honest games, as well as my favorite Sports Book on the Internet.

I'll probably try them out tonight. Hopefully I'll be back to report an incredibly positive experience and we will be able to gauge the ease and speed of my first payout there.

yup, offensive and insulting - but people staved for options will play and pay.
I hope (if) gambling gets legalized in the US and the doors open for players to deposit near-anywhere, that people will get directed to and reminded of this and say to the casinos that milked them 'um, ya, no...I've found better now thanks'

Now Intertops is connected with the JC group and I haven't noticed USA players complaining of such outrageous costs so is it something new they are implementing. I hope Yasmin can butt in and tell us why withdrawals command a fee of $50. Robbing these players when they are down? I don't like this unless they can show that they don't gain a penny from this. Guts charges a fee for e-wallet withdrawals but the fees are reasonable and you get your money within 2 hours.

I'll stick to club world with a $9 fee or drive 15 minutes to a land based casino. I will NEVER pay those kinds of fees to withdraw. I would rather not play. The house odds are high enough without sucking up the few winnings you do get with outrageous fees.

IMHO It down right sucks to be USA right now.Options are not very good and getting worse.Club world-tight slots, Miami club tight slots and tighter tournaments, then there's JC group tight slots and ridiculous min credit card deposit and terribly high playthru requirements on free chips(if you do cash out gl with the withdraw).I hardly see winner screenshots for the US players anymore and when i do,there under $2000.Maybe one or two players manage a decent win but it is very hard indeed:(.

I agree that they charge a lot for withdraws but if you are in the USA you don't have a lot to choose from. They are the only casino for USA players that offers Western Union withdraws. I also have had such good luck at Intertops that I will continue to play there. I have also played at Intertops Classic Casino which I just received email for last week. It is ok different games than the usual RTG. I can also say that when I don't win, my deposits last longer than at other casino's. All in all I like Intertops.

You maybe right. But im not fixing to give no one $50 to cashout my winnings. Thats a ripoff, I can send them a check in which they can deposit and credit to my account. It would cost me maybe a $1. But they want to charge me $50 to cash one of their's. They can keep it! That same $50 they trying to charge me could go towards another deposit with 100% match bonus. What this boils down to is. A phantom bonus on a $50 deposit. Or a 50% cashable bonus on a $100 deposit. WITH OUTRAGEOUS WAGERING REQUIREMENTS... NO WAY JOSE!!!

Some of these operators, sit there and think up clever ways to word and hide bonuses. Only to take them out in fees. Then they come here and pretend to be your friends. Trying to sell you their scheme. The whole time trying to unfairly take away your money. Before I sign up at any casino. The very first thing i read is their cashout time and fees. Then thier bonus requirements, Finally their t&c.

$45 plus Bonus gone in 20 minutes

I agree with everyone that the check fee is ridiculous. Since I have yet to cash out at Intertops or any other casino associated with JPC Group, EVER, I guess the check fee for withdrawals is pretty irrelevant! :D

I know I have seen plenty of posts here from winners at these various sites but I am not one of them. I could have quit up $3000 once at Intertops but gave it back.

I could have quit up $6000 once at Grande Vegas but gave it back--it took a long time for me to forgive myself on that one.

I have never EVER been up more than $600 at JPC and usually it's gone within minutes

Slotastic I have had a few decent playing sessions. I think I could have cashed in $1700 there once but did not.

This is over the course of nearly 4 years and countless deposits. I am an aggressive bettor as I have stated many times. Obviously, I will win much less often than someone who is less aggressive.

Still, by comparison I have done light years better over those same 4 years at Club World Group, and Inetbet. Over the past year, I have had horrible luck EVERYWHERE. I have been pondering giving it up for good.

Finally starting Thursday night things changed and I got on the best roll I have seen in at least a year. I have not decided how I want to share that just yet. Stay tuned.

You seem to have a problem finding the cashout button while you are ahead. Please do so now and share the screenshots with us. I would dearly love to see them.

Your problem is your aggressive betting i.e. not betting according to your bankroll. With a $45 deposit and $45 bonus (I assume), your bet should be no higher than .75c to give yourself a reasonable chance. I would assume your bets are much higher than that, which means it is absolutely normal to lose your money that quickly, or even quicker.

Before taking shots are JPC, maybe you should re-assess your own methods. The fact that you haven't cashed out is nothing whatsoever to do with the slot payouts or anything else....except perhaps for the bonus WR which is 30xDB which is awful. You should try playing without a bonus and lower your bets a little...you might find it makes a difference.

If you usual deposit is around $50, then $600 ahead is a VERY good cashout point. In my case, my cashout point is 5xdeposit, and it keeps my bankroll looking fairly healthy and gives me more playtime.

Agreed on many points. The cashout point is a little higher for me though than the 5x.

I usually make a number such as $500 or better. my cashout mark due to the fees and such. Every once in a while, I too, blow it back because I am having too much fun. It is a conscious choice though and I enjoy the play and if I bust out, I never have regrets knowing that is what I was playing for (to have fun for this deposit).

I do. at times. get down really low and end up bringing the balance back up during the fun session with real money, I then hit the cashout button having had my fun and a profit too! Gambling is fun, but it is more fun when you can withdraw, so do as Nifty says, which is excellent advice, manage your bankroll and make concious decisions on whether it will be for fun or profit and never beat yourself up if you end up forgetting to hit that cashout button.

Where exactly did I "take a shot" at JPC?

Yes, I bet aggressively and that is my choice. And, I reiterated this to AVOID taking an unfair shot at anyone. My point was simply this--I have had much better luck at CW Group and Inetbet. I'm certain the opposite is true for others.

Nifty, you are the one "taking shots" at me and just about every other person that posts in this forum. I knew you wouldn't be able to resist weighing in on that post--and you delivered the goods. I anticipated your remarks almost verbatim.

As for the Withdrawal Button, I'm very good at hitting it. My problems stem from the REVERSE WITHDRAWAL button.

T'is the same thing mate. If only you can resist the temptation you are bound to have much healthier bankrolls in future.

You speak the truth!

My aggressive betting style has actually been unbelievably effective. If the reverse withdrawal feature were not inherent to online gaming I would be a wealthy man.

It sickens me to think of the amount of money I have thrown back since 2001. All the casinos--especially in the earlier years--use every stalling tactic in the book to leave that withdrawal reversible for as long as possible. Just imagine how much their bottom line would be affected if they were unable to leave withdrawals in pending for days on end. Most of them would not be in business. I have addressed this issue in this forum many times in the past.

Sure, I resisted the temptation often but unfortunately there have been far too many times that I did not.
This is unlikely to change. If and when I reach a final decision to quit online gaming completely for the third time it will be the final time. I will self exclude myself from everywhere I play and that is a big decision and one that only I can make.

I have read all the tips and suggestions in the forum. With rare exception, all withdrawals at US Facing casinos sit there in pending for days. Portions of larger withdrawals sit in pending for weeks. The longer it is in there, the more likely I am to throw it back.

Actually, there is no way you can say that with any accuracy.

It's more than possible that you would have blown it somewhere else. After all, you bet aggressively.

Also, if you bet aggressively/large online, there are few casinos that will pay you out in full and fast. So, either you play at those casinos (if you are able), or you accept that pending withdrawals and limits are the order of the day.

As Chu said, whether your problem is with the cashout button or the reverse withdrawal button, it is immaterial. The result is exactly the same.

FWIW, I am not interested in your personal remarks and opinion of me or how I post. I'm attempting to leave pointless bickering with people I don't care about behind me.

Nifty,

You falsely stated that I "took a shot" at JPC Group. I did not. In this post you failed to address that completely.

As for your attempts to leave pointless bickering behind you--actions speak louder than words.

I agree with the aggressive betting. Not betting according to your bankroll is a pretty sure way to end up broke in a hurry. Sometimes you'll get lucky but those times are probably pretty rare.

As for taking shots at JPC, it looked more like he was taking shots at himself even if he didn't know it. He stated he was in a position to make several withdrawals that most people would have been happy to make but played it back. That doesn't seem to hurt the casinos reputation much in my opinion. There were times when I was sitting with 20 or 30x my deposit in my account and foolishly played it back. What normally happens to me is when I'm on a roll and my balance increases I raise my bet accordingly but if I hit a losing streak I'm too stubborn to lower my bet again to match my remaining bankroll. Usually I shoot for a nice round 500 but if I haven't had much luck lately I'll cash out much lower and try again another day.

Thank you skiny. You got my point. Nifty did not. He went on the attack in his know it all, accusatory, and condescending manner. In this case he failed to understand that the only reason I volunteered this information is because my results--especially for short term--are not typical for most players.

Re:

Of course I knew it.

He says he is making an effort to be less confrontational and that is great. Hopefully he will succeed and hopefully I will learn to avoid reversing withdrawals. I hate to be pessimistic but have my doubts either of us will succeed.

Had had it not been for the ridiculous "taking a shot" remark I would have simply replied that I CHOOSE to play aggressively because I want to. His comments, as worded, were confrontational. But it goes deeper than confrontation. The tone is consistently so I know it all and you know nothing.

Several others such as you agreed with his bankroll management advise or offered their own advice and it was well taken and appreciated because of the manner in which it was stated.

For the record, I played very conservatively at the new Intertops Classic. 25 cent VP, 25 cent slots and a few 50 cent slots. I simply had no payoff over 30 coins and only a couple of those. It was just one of those lousy sessions that happens to everyone.

I learned how to count cards at a professional level by age 22 and played Blackjack professionally for several years. More than any counting system in the world, money and bankroll management and EMOTIONAL CONTROL are by far the most important element in being a successful gambler. I posted a comprehensive thread in this forum about winning at Blackjack a good while back and stress this more than anything.

Online play is a different animal. If I continue to play, I will continue to play aggressively. If I am unable to allow my withdrawals to sit in pending for however long it takes to be paid then I will have to stop playing online.

Suggestion?

May I make a suggestion? Right now I am waiting on 5 withdrawals at 5 different casinos (not bragging just stating a fact to help understand my suggestion).

Try playing at different casinos, then try to cashout at one, move on to another casino and wait till your first withdrawal is placed into your banking account, then move to another and work your way around until the first withdraw (or wherever you withdraw to) is in your account.

Then you can use those funds to increase you bankroll while you have other withdrawals pending. The initial withdrawal takes up to 15 days for USA players but if you can continue playing without reversing at another casino, you will be amazed at how quickly your bankroll increases and you will enjoy the surprising growth in you monies....

I have weekly withdrawals being deposited into my bank account and it keeps me from reversing any withdrawal...since I started doing this (I havent reversed in years) but I have blown some having fun, knowing I have other monies coming in..it is very satisfying and fun when you play like this...I hope you can give it a try....it actually works extremely well for me.( Hope I made some sense)

Good luck!

silcnlayc, of course you may make a suggestion.

Wow, lucky you! Five withdrawals. I haven't had that many pending withdrawals since the plug was pulled in the USA and I'm sure I ended up reversing at least one or two before ever getting paid.

First I want to point out what an effective way yet simple way a simple phrase such as "May I make a suggestion" is when offering advice to any individual out there who may be making an effort become "less confrontational" in a written forum.
Of course everyone has their own individual style of writing but this is definitely an excellent example of a way offer advice without coming off as pompous and arrogant.

I only play at the hand full of casinos mentioned in my post that resulted in a response that completely derailed this thread--which was supposed to be about the new Intertops "Classic" Casino on WGS software.

This thread really ended up being about money management. We have seen plenty of similar threads--but more related to betting patterns in comparison to initial deposit or overall bankroll.

Please see the post any constructive thoughts or suggestions in the new thread:
