With apologies to US peeps who won't be able to find out, this is just a bit of fun ahead of the release.

Talking to affiliate managers in Amsterdam last week and I think it's pretty amazing that Thunderstruck is still the most consistent top performing slot on MG casinos some 5 or 6 years after it's release.

You missed an option; Better!

I love the graphics and sounds on the old Thunderstruck - but the results I've had on it over the last 5 years have been totally DIABOLICAL!
Frankly I couldn't care less if they obsoleted it when the new one comes out.

I didn't tell you about my 5 scatters DURING the free spins recently did I ;-)

I have never been lucky at Thunderstruck when playing with money.

I think that the new one will be more kind towards my wallet.

For what it's worth, I voted "No". Just can't see anything being as fun in my book.

Hopefully better, as the original has become quite boring. Never to date hit 5 scatters or even 4 wilds not that I ever expect to hit them either. Same as the feature, you almost fall out of your chair if you get over 50xbet.

Its actually a copy of Cleopatra 9-lines, you always see people playing them too so I guess players like the concept.

I said NO, because I just LOVE the old version.
Simple but very effective, fast play, and my results for TS are not at all bad, otherwise I would have left it alone, lol.

The new version is going to be another of those 243-ways-to-win, and so far I don't really like those slots.
Alaskan Fishing...I'm sorry, but it just doesnt do it for me.

But who knows, maybe TS2 turns out to be superb!:D
I've seen some screenshots and it looks awesome.
Now just hope the gameplay is just as awesome!

I voted yes but had I known it is going to be a 243 all-ways-pays slot then it would have been a no from me.

I was hoping it would be on a par with the recent Hellboy release, a game that is simply brilliant to play and has fast become my game of choice. MGS need to make more games like this!

Is there anywhere we can have a sneak-peek of this machine with some more details?

US peep here, I didn't vote since we can't play new games. But on the note of 243 ways to win, has anyone actually checked to see if this is accurate and how many ways to lose are there? Guess I will have to check out that number.

LOL, damn you. I thought that i was first who found it, lol.

Here is a hint: Check out Simmo's post (or mine): Click > Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) > Done!

5 screenshots

I voted: No. MG should stop, their 4 new games, on every month ...or similar, and fix their software. Make it stable, something new, etc.

I am wondering why they would even bother coming out with thrunderstruck2.
The first one puts me to sleep as it is. Not only that it has been well over a year since I have seen free spins, or even a hit on it. This left me not voting.

Well I have hopes of playing it sometime in the future:thumbsup: but after playing quite a bit a couple of years ago and even hitting 1st in a tourney with free spins totaling $27,000, I'm afraid that was my one moment and ONLY moment on it and eventually put it on my no hit list where it has remained. I do think waiting for those 3 rams to pop up was more exciting than any other free spin symbol so although I voted yes, I hope that part remains.

It doesn't have Rams, but it does have the 3 bonus symbols (scatter) thing that gets you entry to the Hall Of Spins (free spins) judging from the screenshots. I think the sounds that the game has will be a make or break factor myself.

I had to vote "no" even though I would like to see it succeed.

I believe that "Thunderstruck" is popular because of the nostalgia factor. It was the first 15 free spins at 3x that MGS came out with, and I feel that a lot of players like to play this game because it can take them back to the mid-early days of online gaming when games like this were "the shit". Its simplicity and game design set the standard of a damn good game.

When Thunderstruck II comes out, the player response will be interesting...

My thoughts exactly. ...don't they learn something from Hollowood?!
American pie 2, Jurassic Park 2, Die Hard 2... *sigh*, of course some may success, but i pick up some, what is not for me...

When MG is proud with their

, may i ask, how many clones there is? Just different design and sexier name... maybe some nice new additions, but the "core" is the same.

Btw, while checked MG site, i found "THUNDERSTRUCK II" - Press release:

I think it's popularity may also be influenced by FPS games like Quake and Unreal Tourney. For me the "nostalgia" factor stems from playing those games and the similarity in images and sounds.

Also, they have the balance between entertainment, playability and winning potential spot on on the original. For me anyway. It would be awfully hard to get closer to the perfect combination.

I think Playtech's Gladiator has taken things to a whole new level though and raises the bar on online slot games play.

I voted no as well. *Even if I won't find out!!!! Which is complete ****.

Anyway completely agree with Miester on this though, that's why I voted no. Thunderstruck was what pulled me into online gaming back when it came out. I had never really played anything I liked up until that came out and boy it was sooo different from everything anyone has ever played before. It was ground breaking (if you will) when it came out and from the screen shots and details I have seen so far this one won't be breaking any new ground...

But I will never know now will I??? Total Garbage!!
Or wait will I? :D Might just have to spoof the ole ip for a bit

Accoarding to my own experiences and hearing others' as well, in my opinion Thunderstruck is the most powerful game in pulling your bankroll down to ZERO. I have never hit any freespins on it, and maybe I could count on my own ten fingers easily how many times I hit a 4 symbol in line combination, or maybe even 3 in line. I think who plays this game in real money mode is crazy. Maybe there are some big winners along the way, but I think most players will just pull down the money with it in the toilet. Even if you hit some very rare combination, if this doesn't happen at the beginning of your Thunderstruch career, I think that might be not even enough to put you back to the winner side, or put you to no win no loss state. Even if you win, you will stay in the negative, because it will grab so much. I wonder in case you hit free spins, how much it will give out, because it is even very hard to hit a 3 symbol in line combination.

This machine is really a robber. I regret it, because the graphics are very exciting. Surely a good combination to be a money maker for the casino. :notworthy
