First - This is not the time or place.

Second - I have not attacked you or CAP physically or otherwise, if you think so you need some help of some kind. Or better yet you should just re-read what I wrote after you sober up/cool down.

Third - Can we get back to the subject, without you attacking and flaming me? I am sure most of the people reading this don’t want to read all this crap.

Settle down everyone. In support and brotherhood of the refs at the World Cup I might be flinging around more than a few yellow cards if this keeps up :)

Getting back on topic is the best suggestion here.

I have no idea what Google may or may not have done (and probably only 888 knows for certain anyway) It goes without saying that a threat of expulsion from that outfit would carry a lot of weight.

What I do know with certainty is that several people pulled more than their weight behind the scenes to get this promising collaboration in motion, and the Professor is very definitely one of them.

So let's just agree that it was a combination of activity and see some cohesive affiliate support for the process....please!

Google knows. :)

Google has changed their spam policy quite a bit in the last few months when it comes to dealing with large companies that spam their index.

You can find all the details about this new policy on the google blog and a few other places that focus on search engine stuff.

And I did say that Lou deserved a pat on the back...

I most certainly agree it was of a collaboration of events which dragged 888 back to the barginning table. I am anticpating several more fireworks displays. Many people had worked in private, as well.

Just a quick update on this 888 issue.

Well 888 and their ‘special affiliate’ are back at it again... bigger and better than before.

Perdy smart for a scumbag spammer, wait till people think the problem has been delt with and solved, then hit again.

The coalition at CAP has fallen apart.
Google is being apathetic about the whole 888 thing.
Looks to me like 888 and their scumbag affiliate has won the war.

So it does pay to be a persistent scumbag...

Lots0, detail and facts, please.

I'm sure The Professor would have posted here if his CAP initiative had gone to the dogs.

Personally I am very upset at the sudden appearance of all that spamdexing.

888 has set up an address where complaints can be filed and some of them have been addressed very nicely.

That caused me to move them from being blacklisted to being on probation.

Now this. :eek2:

Yup all that 888 spam is rather hard to miss and we don’t really need anyone to post here (or anywhere else) to tell people that 888 is spaming again, everyone can see it very well all by themselves, just do a few searches in google for casino keywords.

They have all new spam doorway templates, but they are using the same old spam methods.

Well maybe this reporting address 888 has put up will work, but I am not holding my breath.

Dominique, would you please post the address or PM it to me, thanks.

I'm sure I'm a little off the wall here, or is Vegas Red jumping on the bandwagon of 888.com's spam by offering this $888 bonus scheme in their spam?

Or by some far chance is Vegas Red affiliated with 888? :)

This crap xxxhttp://bloghof.net/pub/blogHof/casino/casino-10.html is currently polluting google for all gambling related terms.

bloghof.net is also promoting the selling of mobile ringtones.

Amazing, golden palace is the top of the list on the redirect; not 888 :)

I think Dom has the right idea here - use that complaints address 888.com negotiators made available to The Professor....and it may be an idea to ensure that The Prof knows about this latest complaint, too. He seems to be working as closely as any affiliate with the management people at 888.com in trying to put a stop to this black hat stuff.

No sense in reporting to 888, there are no affiliate tags, so no way to point to any one affiliate.

888 is just going to tell you there is nothing they can do, its not one of 888s affiliates, as there is no affiliate tag.

So trying to ‘work’ with the management of 888 on this issue is wasted effort.

BTW, Dominique, is the one that brought affiliates together and organized the 'resistance' to 888 the last time, with some help from a few others.

Big hat tip to Dom.:notworthy
