888 casino

I believe they are on the non-recommended list here on Casinomeister, and many of us believe they are a rogue entity. If you conduct some research you'll find several players complaining about funds being confiscated due ridicolous reasons. Besides, why would you even play there? They let customers wait for 4 days (pending period) before actually letting you withdraw some money. Plus apparently they have their own exchange rate which doesn't reflect the real deal, and costs people money when withdrawing.

In other words, there are several better options like Redbet, Guts, Unibet and 32Red. They usually have the same game concepts (casino, poker, sportsbetting, bingo etc.) and do offer withdrawals without a hassle and in a timely manner:thumbsup:

888 are not recommended here, but like some others here I have always had no issues with them. You must verify for first w/d and they have a 3-day pending but once pending is over I found the payouts come quickly, back to debit card in 2 banking days. I recently got a b-day free chip at 30x WR and turned 10 into 95 and w/d it no problems. Their pending period DOES include weekends which takes the sting out of it a bit.
Problems seem to arise because they are Cassava Group who have multitudes of bingo sites and people take a bonus at one, or self-exclude at one then 888 have been known to repay deposits and confiscate winnings as a result because their terms forbid multiple account-bonuses or play if you've SE'd at any site in their group.
If you've not played at any Cassava site before, then you should be alright, but as people state there are better quicker-paying sites with IGT games about.

Also be aware that they will not cooperate with the PAB process, meaning that if they decide they don't like you you are in for a world of frustration. See the Warning here: https://www.casinomeister.com/forum...perties-are-ignoring-player-complaints.53093/
Yes, indeed I omitted to mention that. They refuse to deal with 3rd. party arbitration, whether you grant them your permission or not. So they are a 'proceed with caution' site. If you're in any doubt that you've SE'd from any Cassava property beforehand, or had certain bonuses at any, then best stay away just in case.

Yep, in NJ for Harrahs, WSOP and then they have three 888 sites under Caesars. WSOP also uses them in Nevada. The main Caesars site in NJ i think is using Amaya. Let's don't forget Delaware Lottery too.

Really annoying that the U.S. casinos all seem to be partnering with second-rate software providers for their newly "legalized" offerings. Instead of getting to play on PokerStars and Microgaming (or even Playtech), gamblers get stuck with PartyPoker and 888. Better than nothing I suppose, but only marginally.

used to live on poker for 7 years on that site when poker first boomed. never had problems withdrawing although never did take over 1k in one hit. always thought the 3 day pending period was half an excuse for them to find the lowest possible exchange rate to record at a chosen convenience during that period, as I can't ever remember the rate changing on display yet It wasn't the rate I was given ''at the time of processing'' - . made over 1000 withdrawels & less than 250 much smaller deposit's there. all went down the pooper though when I clicked on the casino for the first of many times after going so many years on the site playing only poker. spent maybe 1000 hours in 4-5 years on 'santastic' slot on 75c spins and still was waiting for a win above $120 . definitely took over 10k off me lol. and what a waste of my life may I add .

I know people get paranoid, but it all stunk to me as I had jackpotted near all the other slots on the reel base some multiple times, and of course a ton of huge bonuses. but not the one that I kept coming back to.
Stank much more when I watched my friend create an account, to then spend $500 in some labrynth on 75c spins, frustratingly he then changed to santastic. he then spins off 5 credits at 0.75c and wins some $800 off the 4 symbol bonus round. I've had that '4 symbol bonus round' about 40 times. it almost felt as if it didn't matter what machine he switched too it was going to throw him some sort of big hit. and that it would never matter for the rest of my life how much I played santastic for not getting anything over $120 was the one thing bringing me back to that drivel of a casino. I would have loved to have seen my RTP on that slot over 4 years. anyway, sorry.

he had a lot of hassle getting that money he won too.. that looked bleak for a while. eventually, small instalments of about 5-6 lumps I think after a long debate with CS. which I had to do for him lol :| and even they took weeks to come in, at awful exchange rates.
crap CS too on the whole.
don't bother with the site anymore now me.
just MHO of course.

I got an email a few days ago from them:

What are you waiting for?'

At the bottom it said I was receiving the email because I already have an account there (which I do). Now near as I can tell, this email is telling me to open a duplicate account. I emailed support but, of course, no response. I'm dying to know what the scam is here? Why tell me to open another account when duplicate accounts are against the rules for most, if not all, casinos isn't it?

In my experience dealing with player issues -- the Pitch-A-Bitch process -- duplicate accounts ANYWHERE in the Cassava/888 network is going to get you into a world of hurt. Once you've got multiple accounts they'll treat you as if you are a cheat and/or "bonus abuser". In other words expect pain.

And just a reminder: we can't help you if you get into difficulties with these guys. They don't allow player complaints to be discussed with anyone but themselves and their licensor (Gibraltar).

Thanks maxd. Wasn't going to open another account even if they said I could lol. Haven't even gone near these guys in a couple of years at least.
