I'm rather surprised to still find nothing about this issue here unless I've somehow missed it. The tournament server has been down for 3 days. At the same time credit card deposits have become unavailable.

From what I have understood from the terms and conditions VIP status is accompanied by free tournaments. Since I've joined this casino these VIP tournaments have been held hourly although the time frame is not listed in the terms.

These are also the terms my brother understood when he opened his account at the end of last week and made his deposit. He was looking forward to trying these tournaments. He hasn't been able to play one yet to my knowledge.

Now for the most part we've all been quite supportive toward the casino patiently waiting for the server issue and the CC processor issue to be resolved. It seems now that some people are getting a little impatient. Very little has been said about the issues other than the odd word from support staff that it's being worked on. There was a facebook page put up by the casino with mention of some games there to make up for the lost tournaments but that hasn't been updated in about 15 hours and I really see nothing there but a few odd comments by players.

I brought up the suggestion tonight that the VIP tournaments could be replaced with chat games which this casino has had most regularly. I made mention of this and the fact that these tournaments are an understood part of becoming a VIP or depositing member in their global chat room. I was virtually reprimanded for it by the support staff. I was told that these tournaments are a "courtesy." I was under the impression that if they are listed in the terms and conditions as a promotion upon depositing and gaining VIP status they would in fact be a necessity. Part of a deposit agreement.

I've reopened the 3Dice chat box several times this weekend to get an update on the status and very little seems to be known. Nobody I've spoken to has heard from Enzo. This casino might not realize it but the chat box and the free tournaments are a large part of why many players deposit there. I would have thought this casino would have been a lot more concerned and considerate to it's players when an accepted VIP promotion has been gone for over 3 days.

skinny i cant log on with my pass word i get a server error , how ever i think nobody more than 3 dice and staff wants things up and running
im not scolding you :p:p but from enzo's coming forward to explain in detail casino things techie things when its just a chatty atmosphere my read on the gang over there is that there the most aggravated by what ever snafu has happened :noteworthy

as i mention as well with the "quiz's" put up, dont get me wrong, any quiz is good for no deposit bonuses and much appreciated, but i sat there tonight thinking "wtf" since half of the questions were stuff only people who live in or around the USA would know...couldnt even be bothered in the end.

The thing which always made 3dice different from the rest is the tourneys, its a combined package. Im sure I can speak for others that if I lost my own cash there I wont be half as anoyed because i'll know full well i'll be able to play some tourneys and get plenty more hours playtime.

Its the usual situation where 3dice scratch my back in the month with tourneys and chances of winning from the chips... $10? $20? $30 maybe after meeting WR? Then I scratch their back on payday with a nice wad of my cash :D

Unfortunately now this month because I havent been able to deposit with my Card and there havent been any tourneys to keep me occupied I have blown my entire gambling budget (which was planned to be my deposits at 3dice over the next month or so) at another casino.

My vip level has dropped as well because of this
 
I really wouldn't complain about the chat game that was played at 3Dice tonight. I didn't know most of the answers either but at least it seemed like there was an effort made. Even if it was Pinababy that did all the work.

By the way. The game host wasn't American either.

ehhh? i wasnt complaining, i even said "any quiz is good" and "much appreciated"

i was actually backing you up with what you were saying earlier. As you mentioned how the tourneys are part of the "agreement" when you deposit.

I'm Canadian, not in the US....just to clarify. And the questions I came up with, I "thought" were fairly difficult..for everyone. I told people before I started that they would probably want to have a Google page open and ready to go. So how is that biased towards anyone? If EVERYONE has to Google, US based or not....how is that unfair?

And again, just to clarify....I don't work for 3Dice, and I didn't get paid to do that chat trivia. I simply asked Jared if I could do it...and asked for some prizes to give out to the winners. I spent at least an hour Googling myself to come up with 35 questions...trying to be fair to all.

Re: Skiny's original post. I agree that the tournies are something that are part of the "package" that 3Dice offers. To be without them for three days is not ideal in any way. And what compounds the situation, is the fact that many players have also been unable to deposit all weekend, due to the technical issues with the processor. Myself, I came home on Friday night, card loaded and looking forward to playing..only to find out it wasn't working. Hugely pissed off I was.

The only criticism I have is that it would have been nice if Enzo had maybe posted here after Friday night...keeping everyone abreast of what was going on, or any new info he may have had. I know they've posted at Facebook, but not everyone uses that. I would have liked to have seen some "updates" here as well.

I hope that once they get everything back up and running..they'll take it into account people's VIP status, etc. I know mine is set to expire altogether anyday now. Which it wouldn't have, if I'd been able to deposit like I wanted. So I hope things like that will be taken into consideration.

And maybe a tourney with some top notch prizes to compensate for the inconvenience this has caused.
 
I agree with Rocky in that I am sure that

3Dice wants the tourney server up and running just as all who play the tourneys probably do. In light of all that has happened, I do miss the tourneys and I see the OP point of view. However, I am going to give Enzo and the gang a break. Only because they have always been on top of things in the past. Even though 3Dice is a for profit company, they always seem to put us players first!

It does seem that 3Dice could have had a status report or something to keep all us players abreast of the situation (could have been a popular thread lol), but again, since they always have catered to the customer, I am going to chalk it up as oversight. I am sure their support team has nothing but a rough ride the last few days.

Just my 2 cents though.

I am almost afraid to post how much I like 3Dice...last time the thread was closed after a few days. I won a little tonight.. It was nice to be able to spread it around a little since I won on credits from a quick question Jared asked.

They can only do what they can do... and I can almost guarantee from past experience, Enzo and the gang will more than make it up to us.

You guys think Enzo might finally gimme that cookie I have been waiting for, for over a year now??? :thumbsup: :lolup:
 
I have made posts here regarding the high variance and the long streaks without wins but I have never said I didn't like 3Dice. They've always been tops in my book and as long as they keep up the good service, speedy payouts and fun atmosphere they always will be.

By the way. Jared threw 5 bucks at the chat room because I was questioning the fact that the tournaments that are an expected part of our VIP agreement had been missing for 3 days.

I knew exactly what he was getting at with that question but it costs more than 5 bucks to get a serious answer from me.
 
Well, I'm happy to report that things are back up and running. Today's VIP tourneys are half the normal length, and back-to-back.

I can understand that especially for a new player like your brother, this would be very frustrating, but it is not the norm, and I'm sure no one is happier than Enzo that things have been resolved.
