When 32red get a negative review on trustpilot its nearly always followed by loads of positive reviews from new users of trustpilot. The users are also from united States where 32red Is banned. What's going on??

They are clearly not real users that are making these posts - or somebody is paying them to do so. The first two results say 'Quick Payments' - I didn't need to go further than that - Quick payments from 32Red in the USA :D. Clearly Trust Pilot is not to be trusted.

Hi All,

Thanks for making me aware of this thread.

I can assure you that all reviews of 32Red on trustpilot are genuine. Users must submit their username which we verify after each review is posted. If the OP thinks the reviews are coming from the US, I would appreciate you sending me the reviews which you believe are and I will try my best to show you otherwise (without breaching privacy rules of course).

With regards to the replies (I guess you are the same person angry about this on TP?) to be honest it's myself who makes most of the reviews and I find it hard to politely reply to someone who is frustrated with their experience particularly when the RNG didn't go their way. It's easier to respond and say thanks than put a public response on a review what I personally believe is either an attempt to tarnish our reputation or a moan that someone didn't win.

I'll try and be more responsive in future. I appreciate the feedback.

Regards
Mark

If it is any consolation I can confirm that it is easy for anyone to write a review on trustpilot. you can also use a VPN to mask your IP as well. And that can in turn make it look like people from other countries are writing the reviews.

For example I know that a lot of websites on the internet use this tactic and create tonnes of accounts to write reviews using VPN's to make their website get and look good. it is very easy to do so as well.

I have also used it as a web dev myself and I can tell you. You can not limit who can write a review. You can write a review on any site that is listed with them. Once you sign up for a user account that is.

So i am sorry Mark but what you say is not true when you say you can prove that all of the reviews are done by users and you could prove it. I am sorry but I do not think you can. I haven't checked how many have reviewed 32red on trustpilot because I couldn't care less. Trustpilot is not that great anyway. It doesn't help you get better SEO either. And promoting the fact you have a high rating be it from legitimate reviews or fake reviews is just making yourself look worse.

I haven't left a review yet. I have concerns about it. You don't need to leave a username to review. Look at these examples:
Shaun Thomas-United States Melanie United States Chris Atkinson United States jonathon hendley United States Jane Phillips
United States Vanushka United States Alison United States Michael Peden United States Olgakr23 United States El Sweetman
United States Stevie-Louise Macchia United States Lyndsey Browning United States Nikolla Katsanis United States Oleh United States Lee mortimer United States Simon Owen United States Kelly Haylor United States Andrea United States Annmarie Wakefield United States Jon United States . I only went through 1st 2 pages. There more then 20 pages of reviews. These are users with only 1 review then they vanish???

Mark fair enough - clicking on the user profile shows that they are from the USA - Secondly, the review is a 1 liner - '32Red QUICK Payments' - We have debated the issue to death - 32 Red do not pay quickly - Nor do they service the USA.

The poster also only has 1 review and that happens to be a 1 liner that 32Red pay quick and is from the USA. Would YOU trust the review at first glance as a seasoned member here?

Thanks for bringing the US thing to my attention. I've checked the account numbers provided on these reviews and they are indeed UK players with a verified address. I have addressed this with TP directly to understand why they are not showing as UK reviews.

I've randomly checked some other non-US sites and they seem to have the same issue:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

On the fast payment debate, users of TrustPilot are generally not seasoned casino users and are recreational players. I can only assume that this type of player doesn't have an issue with our payment times. I don't have anything else to explain it.

Verified reviews on TrustPilot can be proved. Doesn't matter if it is an online casino or a site like 'Not on the High Street'. The person writing the review will have to provide their 32Red account number for example. Which the casino, 32Red in this case verify with Trust Pilot if it is genuine or not.

Hi DreamRJ,

Just to address your comment above. TP has a function which allows businesses to ask for an order number or username when making a review. This is a mandatory field when reviewing 32Red. You can see this in the screenshot below taken from our account:

TrustPilot.jpg

Every review we receive is checked so we can address any genuine complaint directly with the reviewer. If a username is not found, we flag the review to TP who will then ask the reviewer for proof that they have done business with us. It's a pretty robust system.

Any business IMO needs to monitor such sites as Trustpilot as, as you say, anyone (including competitors) can make a review. You're right, it doesn't help SEO efforts but it can damage a reputation if it's not monitored. I'm not aware, to my knowledge, that we have ever mentioned the rating in any of our marketing efforts.

Thanks Webzcas, seems I was writing my response as you responded.
