32Red - here we go again....

....Sigh. I had an adobe flash update last night so I'm assuming the problem is because of this, I double click the 32red desktop icon to open it, get the startup sequence and that's it, no loading, nothing.

I say it might be because of the adobe flash update but just noticed, after uninstalling/reinstalling, 32Red now has a new start-up sequence, could it somehow be because of this? I have tried Golden Lounge and Dash and they were fine.

Anyone any ideas? Sometimes, I don't know why I bother - so fragile this software, getting beyond a joke.

Thank god for that, least I know it's not just me. They could have told us there may be some disruption so I didn't have to spend the past 45 mins trying to sort my laptop out thinking this end was the problem.

Yep - same here.
The casino starts and loads up normally, but double-clicking like buggery on any game... and nothing happens! :(

My computer just did a Java upgrade and windows is waiting for me to re-boot for their updates too - might be something to do with it...?

I had same issue, download wouldn't 'start' at all but then logged into flash at the request of live chat who said that there was no mention of issues regarding the download casino and it worked.

Not a fan of flash casino as I have all my achievements on download, plus its a nice 50% today so lets hope they get it sorted soon.
 
Just installed the Java update, still doesn't work. Sod it, I'll leave it for 24 hours or so see if it's their side. Pain in the arse these updates, if that's the cause, sure last night was the 3rd adobe flash update in the last month.

If it's not an Adobe update it's bloody Firefox.
 
I've only been a member here for a week or so and already I have seen so much negativity around 32Red. I used to have an account there but ditched it because I just didn't like the layout of the place. However, it does seem that it could be general software issues as opposed to issues that are the fault of the operator... or am I wrong?

Correct, it's just weird how I always have these issues with 32Red and not with their other casinos.

Take the past week for instance, I usually play the $250 daily Avalon freeroll, everyday bar yesterday I've clicked it and nothing has happened, then a msg pops up saying the 'viper client' has stopped working, and it shuts down, this happens twice more before I am able to play the tournament.

My last depositing session, clicking the IR game symbol, nothing happens for a few minutes, then the game freezes then the casino just closes down on it's own.

Always had these issues at 32red and it doesn't seem to be getting better, in fact it's getting worse.

Its not just 32 red, its any download casino running MGS, quite often I close a game to change, whole lot freezes and like you say casino totally closes, really annoying, especially if I'm losing but this i feel is down to Microgaming and out of their personal control for the respective casino operators.

There are a few of us that do have that viper problem, after their latest update, but they are trying to solve it. Just so you know:)

It's not so strange that it's 32Red and not the others. It's more going on there, and that's where the most people are playing.
 
32 Red download is all up and running for me again :) all games open no prob's :)

IR here I come....... (after I've fed my face :P)

That was the same as my original error, I gave the PC a quick 'restart' loaded casino and it did 'pause' like that for about 30 secs but then loaded up fully so sorry but not sure what's happening then?

Yep. That sounds about right. Usually I need to make as many as 20 attempts before the tournament actually loads, regardless of whether I am registering for the next day's tournament or wanting to play the tournament that is "in play".

Of the four 32Red group casinos, I find that Nedplay is actually the worst for this kind of nonsense. Real money games though, they generally tend to load at the first attempt without any problems for me.

But I don't think it's entirely fair to point the finger only at 32Red. This past month or so, I have found a lot of the MG Viper Casinos have been showing a much greater "willingness" to crash. Quite annoying.

I know it's not their fault, it's just frustrating, I genuinely rarely have issues at their other casinos like I said, even when Laddies was MG I rarely had a tech issue. I think the only issue I've ever had with Golden Lounge or Dash is the start-up sequence, when it goes through the music/animated sequence, disappears, then seems to start-up again.

If you do a search on this forum, there must be 3 or 4 threads at least I have started where I have said I'm having issues with 32Red tech-wise.

Cant believe it asked in live chat early on today having the same promblem.Charles said no other people have complaint and must be my internet. what a joke just seen this giving the casino a massive wide break for a bit.Also like the other chap said the Freeroll never working off to slottys Vegas me thinks

Yes do that, but remember that most people don't complain.
They are patient and are waiting for the casino to work again, or they go somewhere else to play.
It can't have been down more than an hour because I had just stopped playing when this thread was started.

Edit: The freerolls always works for me so I have no clue what your problem is.

Yes correct with everything stated there. Also Freerolls always work for me and I have been playing them every day for last months.

I have a problem with people on live chat saying there no problem with the site ,When its clear from this post there is and then like other spend over 40 minutes reloading and updating my pc .

The free roll was not working last week and at the weekend I have a copy of live chat when I asked them .

There plenty of others I see in the post who say there a problem with freeroll as well

I'm just responding to your post as I would have done no matter who it was that posted. It have nothing to do with you.

I asked you not about you thanking people but about why always the ''helpful posts, and that was to try and help you if you needed. A way of trying to be nice.

Same here.Takes 6 or 7 tries to load a tournament game.Casino just closes sometimes.Still my favourite casino though.This happens at other MGs \I play at too.
 
For the record it is now working, did try opening the casino soon as I logged on, wouldn't open still so uninstalled and reinstalled again and it loaded/opened.

Thanks to those for their suggestions.

I have found that if after you launch the casino, you just let it sit there a while before actually logging in, the tournaments will work, not freeze and force the client application to terminate. If you have auto login, disable it, it doesn't allow enough time.

It looks like something to do with the client not having properly connected to the tournament server, even though it's fully logged in. When you then click on a tournament, a module that is supposed to execute just crashes, and this brings down the whole client.

Yep I get exactly the same across all MGS download platforms. Far from an ideal solution and mega frustrating when I'm playing (yep I do swear at the screen, winning or losing) but I take it as an opportunity for a little 'break' do a PC restart and log in fresh and resume playing.

Maybe just lucky but after this process has been done once it does not seem to happen again unless I'm getting a mega long game time / play.

The Chinese signs is no problem for me, but the extra window is. Do you get that?
Either is goes up directly in front of the game, or you can see it only at the bottom if you hover your mouse over the game.

I'm not getting any of that... (yet:) ).


I have seen similarly odd happenings after an update though. In one case, all the names of the games were replaced by 4 digit numbers.

To cure this level of corruption I had to uninstall all the Microgaming casinos, delete the cache, and all the registry keys for good measure. I then reinstalled from scratch. Reinstalling individual casinos didn't work, and won't work if the corruption is within the common cache rather than the individual casino files.
 
not sure why anyone would play MG at the moment its flooded & riddled with problems scripts not working pages not loading games spitting at you grrrrrrrr & the icing is when you have dead after dead spins balance depleted within 10 mins or lower !

Yes seems a few issues with it , Dead spins on any platform I expected for any casino .We just slaves to it lol :eek2:

I noticed a marked improvement yesterday, when attempting to play the Daily Freeroll. Registering for the following day was successful first time, every time. Playing the tournament currently in play was successful first time on 3 of the 4 accounts. On Nedplay, I needed to make a second attempt. But that is wayyyyyyyy better already.

Here's hoping it is just as smooth when I try today.
