32red - gamstop related issue preventing withdrawal

Hello everyone, I won £5000 on the 7th march on 32red which I think withdrew straight away but was places on hold because of asking for id documents which I submitted and was verified a day later, I was then asked for a bank statement which took them 13 days to verify when they finally got back to my account was closed and I was told I was currently registered with gamstop and my winnings will not be paid. I sent proof to them that my gamstop had ended and confirmed with gamstop themselves. What are my chances of getting my money?

You need to understand the difference between GAMSTOP expiry and the restrictions being lifted.

So say you had a 1-year GAMSTOP and knew the year had finished last week, even today you would still be barred unless you went through the whole procedure of calling them or whatever it is to officially lift it.

Unless you go through their procedure, the GAMSTOP continues after the set period comes to an end.

Do you think this could be the reason?

For example are they confirming the period is over, or the period is over AND the ban is lifted?
 
It may just be that Gamstop 'confirmed' the date the ban expired, without actually lifting it, which could entail auto-renewals galore and several more years added to the exclusion....

Lest we forget, the onus is on the customer to contact Gamstop by phone to end the ban, followed by a 24-hour cooling-off period before the whole thing's done and dusted.

It may also just as likely be that in this instance, as with many casinos' relations with ex-Gamstop users, that they decided it's not worth the hassle of dealing with self-confessed 'problem gamblers' and just not pay up!

It expired on the 24th November 2024 which I then rang up to get removed in December 2024

Since their site upgrade I’ve heard that people’s accounts have had blocks put on them due to historic Gamstop exclusions that expired years ago…despite people having been able to play there just fine in the intervening period.

Pretty sure there was a couple of comments about this on this forum a couple of weeks ago.

Oh yes I’m sure all deposits would have been refunded if the customer had brained out for 3 months first.

It’s funny how at the point of withdrawal they realised this but not at the deposit stage??

Can i ask the OP how many deposits he/she had made before they finally won some dollar and wanted to get it out???

After readin this forum, I had a thought.. When depositing, all these casinos don't give a shit where you got the money, how well you manage money, etc. They don't care about anything. When makin a considerable withdrawal, they become Sherlock Holmes, and they care about every little thing.

More than likely I’ve won a lot bigger sums with pp and the moneys been in my account a day later

They couldn’t care less when you deposit absolute scum bags couldn’t recommend the company less I’ve made a complaint with ecogra hopefully gets sorted

Made two deposits of £40 so they’re just trying to excuse not paying out
