I saw that until now, there are only 58 players participating in this special tournament. This looks a very low number of players to me.
Probably a problem with the MG software?
YES INDEED
I was booted TWICE, once after 3 minutes, and the second time after 3 SPINS
This was a complete fiasco - and I would have expected better from
32Red.
32Red are at least going to have it out with MGS, and in my past experience they do, even though many other casinos simply use this line to fob players off.
There were serious problems even getting in to the tournament, it took 2 hours of struggle between being booted, and getting another go with the rebuy, and I needn't have wasted my time as it turned out.
Perhaps a turnout of only 57 reflects these problems, but it also means 32Red have taken a hit because they are paying more out than the tournament brought in.
58*6 = 348 MIN
58*6*4 = 1392
They made between $348 and $1392.
I KNOW it wasn't $1392 though, as the problems meant I didn't continue in either case, and many players who had problems may not have bothered with a second go or a continue.
The payout pot was $6000 though, and it was well worth going for, which is why I tried again, despite the failure of the software the first time.
I played after midnight, so "congestion" is not an excuse MGS can pull out of the hat this time.
I did not experience ANY problems connecting to the casino, the problems were solely in accessing the tournaments from the tournament lobby.
