I was in montreal's casino today.
I saw that low limit blackjack tables 10$ and 15$ min bet now offer 6 to 5 payouts on blackjack meaning that you would receive 12$ for a blackjack on a 10$ bet and 18$ for a black jack on a 15$ bet.
I asked the dealer why this new rule and he told me the casino didn't have a choice to be able to offer these low limit tables.
I obviously didn't play but I wondered what additionnal edge % the house gains with this 6 to 5 on blackjacks rule.
Anyone is able to calculate this? Trancemonkey maybe?
So dealer hits on soft 17 and 6 to 5 blackjacks payout. Does it get any worse?
