[pab-in-progress]Won there 1214 USD, played according to the terms.

War was an allowed game, they probably didn't like the fact I won and the way I decided to play, rogue behaviour, this is their reason not to pay:

Dear D,

Thank you for choosing Zipang Casino

We regret to let you know that we were not able to process your withdrawal request because as we've checked your account, your account has been verified as bonus seeker by our casino group levels.

This decision has been made by the department in charge and the criteria are not open to the public.

Thus, we may not be able to assist you for further inquiry regarding this matter.

We offer bonuses as an act of service for the clients, but there are strict guidelines to be followed which may lead to decisions like this as a necessary action.

Therefore, you can refund your full deposit but you may not be able to withdraw all your winnings.

We would like to request you to withdraw your full deposit amount, which is $100, and after your withdrawal has been approve, were going to freeze your account permanently.[/pab-in-progress]

If I recall correctly this is a Playtech operated by Japanese interests. They stated that you are a bonus seeker across their casino group although they are unwilling to disclose the criteria for branding you as such. Furthermore, they said that you need not inquire into this again. This is rogue behavior imo. Nevertheless, you should refrain from commenting on this again if you wish to seek MaxD's assistance through the Pitch-a-Bitch service. to claim your winnings.

Looks like 'another one bites the dust' here and is headed directly toward the Rogue Pit! :p

Yo, max67c! What's with posting this stuff (09:13 AM) and then doing a PAB on it minutes later?

Have you read the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ like it tells you to on the PAB form?

If you did you would have seen this:

Q: I have already, or would like to, post about my complaint on the message boards. Is that a good idea?

A: Generally speaking, no, it is not a good idea. It's a long story but it boils down to this: a PAB is a private negotiation process and it works because it gives the casino people the best possible opportunity to resolve your issue calmly and fairly in talks with professional industry people without the burden of external pressures or influence.

A message posted on the boards is quite the opposite situation in that it creates a very public public-relations issue that the casino people generally feel forced to contain, or ignore, as best they can.

Because of the pressures involved a forum post on a given issue will usually derail any PABs that are in progress on that issue, and this is why we advise that forum posts be withheld until the PAB process has had a chance to run it's course.

We reserve the right to discard any PAB that where that same issue has been posted to the boards. This relates to threads started by, or contributions to other threads by, the person who filed the PAB. This applies equally to posts made before or after the PAB was filed.

In other words in the case where the material was posted before the PAB was filed we will determine whether those posts would damage or thwart the PAB process before we decide if we will proceed with the PAB. In the case where the material was posted after the PAB was filed there is a very high probability that we will suspend or discard the PAB at that point.

Once we indicate that we are finished with a PAB the person who filed it is free to post about the issue as they see fit (all the usual Casinomeister Forum Rules are applicable).

So, make up your mind: forum post or PAB. And read the frikkin' Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ, like you said you had _before_ you submitted your PAB! Jeez, is that so hard?

I totally agree - this is more of the iniquitous "bonus abuse" nonsense. If the player stayed within the T&Cs then Zipang should pay him what he is due and only then bar him from further promos and/or action.

Unfortunately, I think this crowd is 'licensed' in the Philippes, which doesn't bode well for any help from the licensing authority.

[strike]Actually, never mind. I see that your PAB form was simply a cut-and-paste of your forum post and you couldn't be arsed to fill out the rest of the form properly. I'm going to give you as much consideration as you've given us and the PAB process: PAB discarded.[/strike]

Next time please do read the Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ __before__ you say "Yes" to the "I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE PAB FAQ" part of the PAB form.

Grrrrr.

Actually I've had a change of heart. (a) because I'm actually looking forward to hearing what Zipang has to say for themselves and (b) because the PAB queue is a little thin these days and I need more to chew on. Your lucky day I guess.

But please, seriously, for your own good, read the flippin' Pitch-A-Bitch FAQ.

Maybe it was my mistake. I reminded the OP that there is a PAB service and this is possibly why he submitted a PAB shortly after starting this thread. My apologies.

You had a change of heart because you are both named Max lol.

Not at all Chu, the guy went through the PAB submission process himself and in there it explicitly says that the PABer should read the FAQ __before__ submitting the PAB.

And I remain completely uninfluenced by all people named 'Max'. 'Maxine' on the other hand, different story entirely. I see black hair, green eyes, stilettos ... umm, nevermind.

I guess Zipang casino has the same owner as dafa888 casino, klub8.com?

All belong to Thomas Hall, Bayview Technologies Inc, Resume Investment Inc, AsianLogic. They are all woven together. The same server also has 777babay.com, a Japanese Playtech casino like zipangcasino.com.

I am not sure all these casinos are operated by the same people. Thomas Hall may license the Playtech operators in Asia, so these casinos are actually operated by different groups. For years these casinos indeed have different level of reputation.

Good comment.

Tom Hall - pretty well known industry figure, in recent times more usually associated with Playtech's Asian-facing associate AsianLogic, which appears to have had to trim its wings a little following the economic crisis.

Tom Hall has to adjust the strategy. The competition is intense. Manny Poker is supposed to be launched long time ago, its still showing a Coming Soon logo. On the other hand, the flagships dafapoker and dafa888 casino have been revamped and a lot of improvements has been going on! They make money. Those are where players go.

I see less players go to bet365 and dafa888. It's another fact. EntertAsia has risen to the NO #1 position. It has taken EA only two years to snap Playtech position. In my point of view, PT platform is better than EA, but the culture, local operation, marketing . etc many factors matter. Many people in this forum has no idea of EntertAsia, so they can't imagine the huge daily wagering at 27 EA casinos (listed here Link Removed ( Old/Invalid) ).

bet365 probably hasn't realized the threat from EA in that market but Tom hall knows. Many EA brands are more international now, such as bodog88 (bodog asian), 188bet (sponsor of Wigan FC and Bolton FC, betting partner of Chelsea FC and Aston Vila FC), Fun88.com. 12bet (Sponsor of Sevilla FC) may soon have an EA casino.
