YouTube to conceal visible 'Dislikes' on videos as of, well, today apparently

Now it's either so content creators don't get upset, because people tend to get easily upset these days, which upsets me, but more likely it's for when 'big companies' peddle some slop and users dunk on them via 20:1 Dislike to Like ratios and so forth.

Hosts still get to see the dislikes off-screen as it were, so it won't affect anything like say, disliking one of Ternur's musical selections. So fear not

Yep I delved further into the upcoming YT changes and soon enough became 'enlightened' by some of the most reviled videos to ever grace that platform.

Apparently one of them is the 'YouTube Review' series, featuring so much zany shit it'll blow your mind. Never heard of it either, but seemingly 19 million others were similarly impressed by it!

I actually got 6:55 in before getting an aneurysm, and to top it all off, I am now cursed as well

So basically it works much like The Ring, I have to let someone else see it within a week or my kneecaps explode.

Ha ha. He grew out of nowhere. The Nacker Cracker's story is a sad one. He began producing stuff with his mrs out of boredom from home during lockdown then unfortunately his mrs died leaving him with young kids to look after. I am pleased he is doing so well.

I recently watched a video from a youtuber where she shows receipts of her youtube earnings and despite most of her vids only having about 5k views in total she was earning quite well.

I watched some videos from a guy that bought some cabins and land up in the Italian alps.
Hes not as pleasing to the eyes as your wilderness woman, but the scenery hes got is pretty great.
He has pretty much only just started renovations, but ill probably check in to see his progress if he keeps posting videos.

Youtube is my go-to for entertainment of the passive kind: i do have Netflix as well, but rarely use that. Only for binging of old series in qood quality..

Some of the stuff i enjoy on the Tube, be it since of late or for a few years, in no particular order:

- Random videos about food, foraging, scambaiting, various small projects, and a lot more: started with watching 'weird stuff in a can', which is just awesome

- Recipes from forgotten era's, with interesting tidbits about the time period, the dishes themselves and their history/cultural significance in our culture etc.: i'm probably overdoing it with the description: it's just interesting and fun stuff about food in general

- Used to be called whatthamath iirc, but is now focused on all the latest interesting news in science, diving into all aspects, and linking to all the actual papers, really interesting.

- Just a guy trying out and dsiplaying Military 'ready to eat' rations from everywhere, some of them over 60 years old (yes he does eat them too ) which is really fascinating, but i couldn't actually explain why...

Extremely interesting podcast/video doc's about all the things related to mankind's ancient history, digging into common misconceptions, revealing some of the most recent discoveries, and most of the known 'facts', culminating in a 3 hour long epic journey through the past. This will either soothe you to sleep or captivate you...

Some I watch are.

Gaming Historian- very interesting guy who does in depth videos about various video games, consoles, peripherals and sometimes bizarre legal cases surrounding video games.

Nostalgia Critic- reviews old and new films/games usually Disney. Today he reviewed National Treasure(which I saw at the cinema nearly 20 years ago!) Very animated and doesn’t hold back if somethings bad.

Pikasprey yellow and blue

Hilarious guy from Canada who creates horrible situations in video games that he must escape from. Called soft locking.

He also started a segment called the 6 smeargle challenge where he attempts to beat Pokémon games with only smeargles. To put this into perspective its like taking players from non league football teams, putting them in same team to win the world cup or champions league(and they all have the same crap stats) sounds easy?

Wrong! Smeargle learns only one move Sketch, sketch copies the move that your opponent last did. Meaning you are stuck with that move for hours ?. It makes very easy childrens games extremely difficult and it’s hysterical to watch him struggle through this.

How to cook that

Aussie woman attempts internet food hacks and explains in depth why they won’t work.

She then fiendishly gives these abominations to her husband to try on camera. And his disdainful expressions/reaction/comments are absolute gold.

Annes a food scientist really knows her stuff remarkable lady.

After Work Reactions

Josh watches random shows and movies people in thr comments or polls vote for but the guys laughter is very infectious. And what I like is he doesn’t laugh if he doesn’t get the joke.

Many reaction channels are complete and utter frauds. For example Frankie Boyle made a joke about a guy in a Celtic top that only A small minority would even get and a streamer from America howled at it.
Who do they think they are kidding? It’s about as likely as my grasping a joke about a us baseball team…

Very funny guy who does loads of random videos. His honesty of his own cooking is sublime if something tastes horrible he’ll say it. @incrediblestuff above covered him better than I have.

They discuss various casino games, slots, video poker, interviews with gamblers, dos and don’ts etc. Decent channel hoping they branch into online slot reviews soon…
