Gorgeous pups :)

I have to admit it is the only breed I am wary of and I am an animal lover as a bull terrier ran out of nowhere in Edinburgh and attacked me, bit my hand, leg and hung onto my arm before I managed to get away.
They are great protectors... Nawtee was my mums dog. She was in a car accident involving my family whrn she was just a wee pup. My lil bro passed and mum was in coma for 5weeks. Nawtee and her brother Horse were found by friends in the paddock my brother passed in 3 days later. We think she may received brain trauma. She was the coolest dog. i think it is the patches over both eyes that made her look different from typical bullys. But she wss just the funniest dog. Shed always mumble at u.. And shed chase light reflections. She has bit me when my mother and i had a fight. But shes also bit my mum for fighting sooo lol i think they like the action. Her last litter and my mum gave me Moo. She thinks the bloodline needs to carry on cause the whole paddock thing. She grumbles alots too. Shes either sookie as or like someone just gave her a line of coke. She's stubborn as hell and she will ruin something of urs if she's pissed off. And she hates being left at home. 5 mins or 5 hours. If shes not apart of the action she will poo. I know its revenge poo. My partner thinks the sun shines out of her bottom and versa. Emotionally shes not my dog lol. Ive been bit by her twice. But as i said i think they like the action. They are ADD dogs. Ur atacker sounds like he was having a asshole day, lol they dont run away. We r suppose to have a litter to carry on bloodline for my mum but financially we never been able to do so responsibility. Moo and nawtee always get alot of attention. Theyve been great protectors. They will not let u in their car lol or property and they dont leave your side but just like hoomans... A dog can be prone to a bad day or just have a chip on their shoulder and these are ones u dont wana be on the bad side off. Lol

Omg so cute, I love cats and would love to have some but im allergic to there fur, If I touch my eyes they swell up and look like a badger.

Anywho, had packed away the fireplace for the season so cold kitties snuggling in with me - cats sleep weird :P

Gonna bucket. :)
Shang has leukemia, it's a waiting game. He's at 2LBs.
And, I'm guessing, he's near to go.
In their 8 years together, they dont go within a foot of another without scrapping...they just dont get on. 2 feet and she goes at him.

He hopped up and crawled in with her, she sniffed him and curled in, a literal first

(jeez, sobbing like a 12 yr old school girl)

Fork me, I've not the strength
Gonna stay up all night with him

He's near there, and didnt want to put him down.
It was one thing, to bring the dog to the vet and hold him in my arms when he passed.
Couldnt do it with the little mister; the vet would be a scary process for him to pass and rather he passed here, loved around me and the pack
He isnt suffering....just...ready to pass and I'd sooner he here and safe than there and scared and euthanized

<3

fuck tho, 3 in three months

What a wee cutie Dion, I see she has already claimed shoes and will no doubt be full of mischief. Hopefully a new beginning for you with lots of laughter as you are witness to all the antics, the chewed shoes, the gnawed table legs and pinching your seat on the sofa
a day and already turned his nose up on 6 stuffies in favour of the sofa legs and sneakers; gonna see if I can find some baby teether keys, worked for my last 2 puppers (freeze em and occasionally dip em in a bit of beef broth)

Freeze some carrots, works wonders in relieving pain for puppy teething :)

*sigh*
Nearly 3 months, and I still sometimes cry and miss my guy
but this lil shit, is at least, teaching me to love a new pup, terror that he is (dont let the souldful eyes fool ya)

What a magnificent beast ?

You never forget the ones you have had but a new one worms its way into your life and heart and takes a lot of the pain
away.Always amazes me how different every new dog is, they all have their little ways
Can honestly say I dont think i would still be here without mine after my loss last year but how can you even think of
leaving something that loves you and is so dependant on you.

He grew a bit, 7 stones now

Good to hear shadow. I'm still hesitant in getting another dog even tho I miss the daily walks and companionship. I've been taking peaks at the local shelter websites now and then tho...

Is he a lurcher? Lovely brindle boy x

oh
I KNOW what it looks like
Thought I was going to get lucky and a non-drooler
16 weeks, it's coming in like buckets
Unclipped his leash, he leaned over, eesh

(the bitey marks are learning 'soft mouthing') - puppers have shark teeth
:p

RIP Shango
(passed in my arms last night)

Gentle little soul he was, found him in the snow a couple days old. Struggled for years and became a right lil trooper and terror .
Been battling cancer last half plus year but passed held and loved
Miss you, little guy, love you to the moon and back <3

Listen - can you hear your name?
He's calling you - my friend
Although you're slipping from me now
This is not the end.

A new life is about to start
Where you'll be free from pain
Old-age - you'll shrug off like a cloak
And you'll be young again.

Listen - can you hear Him call?
His voice is soft and low
And as you leave this earth behind
Remember - as you go.

I'll not forget you my dear friend
Though we may be apart
Your mem'ry will remain with me -
Forever, in my heart.

Listen - He is calling still
Reaching out and so,
Take His hand and slip away
It's time for you to go.

So many happy times we've shared
These sadness can't erase
I feel that we're together still
Tho' we've gone separate ways.

I'm listening - but there's no sound
You must have heard His voice
We both knew that the time had come
We knew there was no choice.

You've breathed your last - your eyes are closed
But this is not the end.
For life at Rainbow Bridge awaits
Rest in Peace - dear friend.
