Check this out. Deposited $250 at Intertops last night. Lost the first $100 playing $1 JOB 5 coins in about ten minutes which is typical at Intertops Red Casino. Ok so I'm frustrated again and said #$%K it and played $5 Sevens Wild 5 coins. I $hi& you not I won 12 or 13 of 15 hands no matter what I did, discard everything, full house, flush, straight, 4 or 5 4kind, hit a straight flush too. Impossible! There are monitors watching your games folks sucking you in!

After Bodog took back $400 in about ten minutes with the usual lose 15-20 hands with a few Jacks or Better to maintain the RTP for the so called auditors I deposited some more this morning. full houses on draw and 5 card discards 2 4x kind. Fortunately this time, I cashed out at both and put it back in at each tonight. You know how the story ends... That's right not even Jacks or Better's!. Bodog will kick you off the main server as well. Switch to a different game or $ denomination you have to log back in. But wait a minute I'm already logged in right?

Online gaming is a scam folks. Be very careful and stick to small denominations as these so called accredited casinos are alerted to the big bettors and just fleece them. The only chance of winning are at the brick and mortar video poker machines and tables in regulated jurisdictions like Vegas. You have no chance winning online without hitting steady 4 kinds. Oh I forgot, I monitored my own play at Bodog. Hit full house, prepare for 5 to 6 losers in a row! Bodog says it serves no purpose to manipulate the RTP. They provide you with links to audits! LOL! Those auditor's are a joke.

Yes I'm whining. Just a warning to you all

Geez Dave.

First it was Go Casino, then it was Sports Interaction Casino, and now Bodog and Intertops.

You are questioning the fairness of ALL these casinos based on nothing more than you lost.

There's nothing wrong with lamenting a loss, but you cross a line when you accuse the casino of cheating with NO proof whatever.

If you're looking for REAL reasons why you didn't win, you could start by looking at your bet vs bankroll ratio. If you are betting $5 a hand on VP, then $250 is nowhere near enough money to start with. The absolute minimum would be $500, but ideally is $1000. If you continue your current method you will have a world of hurt ahead of you....but hey, don't let facts get in the way of a good casino bash.

Not the hobby for you..

Hi Dave,

I took a look at the 'about me' section of your profile and it says ''Trying to kick an online habit''. Assuming the online habit you are referring to is gambling then there are plenty of people here who can help you quit. Alternatively there are many sites out there designed for just that. I would suggest you start by taking the following online questionnaire:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

If nothing else, you don't even seem to be enjoying yourself. You remain mistrustful of casinos and licensing bodies and so why carry on? would you keep going to eat in restaurants where you thought the food might be contaminated? Of course not.

I (and many here) understand the problems faced by compulsive gamblers but there is always support for you and ultimately you will be happier if you get control of your habit before it gets control of you.

I wish you the best of luck should you take my advice and would be happy to PM you more advice and sites if you wish - just let me know.

Ur right MM, or is it really?

First let me spend the first 12 seconds on topic: @OP: I have seen the most mathematically unlikely things happen right in front of my eyes; and then the occurrence is over... as quickly as the draw out card hits the felt in a seemingly simultaneous but separate motion as the dealers other hand swooped behind and then away with what were previously my chips... So I don't think 'rare' occurrences qualify as occurrences which could be defined as 'scams'... But u should read the thread on bet phoenix if u got some issues with RTG software, I wouldnt say that RTG rigs their VP any more than a 3-card monty game on a U-haul box in a side alley in Brooklyn is rigged, and I have won @ that game before!

Are we really gambling when we go Gambling? Well, like most things, I believe that depends on ur perspective.

Take yesterday at 3dice for example... I was spinning. I was winning... I was losing... And though dear reader, you may find this hard to believe, I was even cashing out a lil... And all this whilst I was socializing on the IM with a cyber-dime piece...You know, "lolz", lil anecdotes, maybe a lil simul-surfing... (Last night it was the "Type-Casting forum trolls" website...) that we surfed together, yet so far apart...

Yes, MM, its a non-fiction piece I write today...

But I was gaming, not gambling... Gambling implies a risk... But I was 'in on the fix'... My fun was gtd. to come in first... OP? You wanna know why? Bc, when u keep it fun... Yes Fun I say... Most assuredly...

YOU:"Fun?"
3mpty: "Fun!"

Fun! Granted, its not always fun, at least... apparently not for everyone! But when u keep it fun, it ain't gambling, its a sure bet... 3mptys lock of a lifetime... TO HAVE FUN!!!! YEAHHHHH!

Well, you might win some and you might lose some...

But as long as you don't get what u want, instead, u want what u get, then I am pretty effing confident everything is gonna be alright...

Most likely forever...

Unless the Mayans are right.

In which case, things will only be alright for the next year and a half...

But then, the part that is not alright should be over swiftly...

In which case the worst scenario would be over in less than 10 days after this turning point day when things go from "woooooot!" to "boooooooo(t)", and would play out like this (possibly):

Ur trapped under some concrete for 8 days max until u succumb to dehydration... Or shifting pieces of concrete I suppose... More likely, its ~12-36 hours as u bleed internally from wounds sustained during the fall of the concrete and steel structure u now find urself dying beneath... And the former is only possible if ur super hydrated when u get trapped under the freeway, or whatever falls on top of you, without killing u (gosh thats unlucky, but not a scam) when the cataclysm comes...

I think this is the key point here. If you don't enjoy and it even makes you mad, why do it?

At the end of the day, gambling is a form of entertainment. If it's not entertaining, then whats the point?

(I can usually follow 3emptyseat, but this one really lost me...)

I think Plexrep has hit the nail on the head. very sound advice!

Yes thanks for pointing that out, too many less than ideal deposit amounts. So you recommend 200X minimum bankroll per max bet? So $5k for $5(5). Thanks

Well if you are betting max bet on a $1 machine ($5 total bet) then ideally you need $1000 to start with.

Think of it this way. If you were going to play a $1 slot, or 25c VP, you wouldn't deposit $50 right? You would be most likely done in no time unless you got very lucky. It is the same with any bet level - always start with a good bet to bankroll ratio.

Mind you, if you really are trying to kick the habit then maybe it's time to take PlexReps advice :)
