Accredited casino, not known for bonuses offered me a 100% match upto £100. This is a well regarded casino and the terms are:

30 x D+B wagering, some games do not fully count towards wagering.

Being primarily a DOA player, I note that DOA play counts for 50%.

I was going to deposit £50 and take £50 bonus.

So

£50 + £50 = £100 x 30 = £3,000 x 2 due to 50% rule = £6,000.

I play almost exclusively at £0.09 which would be 66,667 spins.

At 1.5 hours average per thousand spins that is 100 hours play or 4.1 days.

You have 7 days to make wagering.

Its virtually impossible even with good wins to do this within the allotted time.

Would you take it on?!

Took the challenge at both casinos in the group:

My offer was 100% up to 500 but the 25 x B&D wagering is just too much and with playing DOA that is doubled.

Yesterday: deposit 67 + 67B
Got 5 scatter @ 0.45 on DOA and managed only half of the 3750 wagering (actually 7.500 because of DOA)

Today: deposit 150 + 150%
Barely managed 1000 in wagering of the 7500 needed (actually 15.000 because of DOA)

Not really an attractive offer. The only good part is that you can withdraw if you don't dip in to the bonus funds

Funny, that yesterday and today i got the big pays exactly after going into the bonus funds. Any bonus round i had before that would not pay more than 30 x bet. Yesterday, i got the 5 x scatter around the 30$ mark. Today i was 147.72 when i got free spins and had 4 wilds lined up and it paid 250 x bet. Now you have to finish the wagering and that is really hard if you want to play DOA.

How about increasing to GBP 0.18 a spin and switch to a 100% game when it seems likely to meet WR ?
Also it would be good to know if it's possible to withdraw before meeting WR (and forfaiting the bonus).

edit: Aaah we are talking about betat, I would take the bonus because early withdrawing is possible.

I would if not for the 100% alone even tho WR is a bit high IMO.

My tactic would be to start playing slots other than DOA with a view to building bankroll.

If this succeeded then I would then move to DOA (with a % of WR already completed) but play a higher stake, not crazily high but maybe 0.45p bets.

I wouldn't object to 0.18 but thats still mega wagering - which i don't object to but i do have an issue with the 50% rule. If the game is as random as purported it shouldn't need to be there.

Don't really like to play other games often, just fancy a bit of decent playtime on DOA.

As it happens, its Slotty who i've never known offer a deposit bonus. Can you forefeit with them? Do you lose winnings?

Not 100% sure but would make an educated guess that it works the same as BetAt in that your real money funds are not tied in and as long as you've not touched the bonus part your good to Withdraw at any time.

I recall taking this offer as I type and had a real good start, building balance right up and only realising after things had gone south that I could have withdrawn a decent amount as I'd not dipped into the bonus funds.

Not at 9p spins I wouldn't

If a bonus drops in on average every 160 spins, 66,667 would, theoretically, give 417 bonus rounds
then a wildline can, theoretically be expected every 150 bonus rounds, that's roughly 3 wildlines
even with multiple lines, you'd probably only be looking at a max of £400 per wildline-bonus
so that's £1200 from your max wins. add a 5 scatter, if your luck's in, and you're still only at 25% wagering

Thing is, a bonus like this i'd normally feel inclined to play at higher stakes as a one-off BUT DOA has been so cold i'd probably only end up with half an hours play - I rarely like to spend more than £50 in a day so i'd be risking a full days play for half an hour. Good analysis though. Any other day i think i'd go for it at higher stakes. Maybe i'll still persuade myself.

Absolutely not worth taking for what is 4.5p per spin towards the wagering. £50 is easily sufficient to get hours out of DOA if you are going to insist on playing minimum bets.

If you do take the bonus just don't expect to make wagering unless you were to raise your bets to at least 36/ 45p a spin after getting a decent hit. Bad enough to be tied into huge WR but the amount you're depositing should be more than enough to get a hell of a lot of playtime.

Ah now, thats a good point. Say for arguments sake i start at my usual 0.09 and hit a decent win and raise my stakes, are they going to say "against the spirit of the bonus" or similar? I've always avoided doing that when taking a bonus just in case but actually, if Slotty aren't "one of those" then the proposition becomes more interesting.

Thanks all for your comments btw, i'm just mulling it over and i'm grateful for your opinions/challenges.

I doubt it very much, unless we're talking about maybe £5 a spin or something. Lowrolling like that would not raise any alarms, it's to be expected as 9 or 18p just isn't going to cut the mustard. I would actually start on 18/27p and slightly lower the bets if nothing is happening, say at £10 intervals. Save your 9p bets for the last £15 or 20 (but play as you see fit, just throwing it out there!) . After all, it's all about that wildline or 5 scatters, not so much to cash out but allow you to bet higher really.....this is why casinos pretty much cower at the mere mention of this game

well if you normally play at 9p on a £50 deposit. start on 18p, and increase your bet every time you increase your balance by £50 - £100

£100 or less balance = 18p
£150 to £200 = 27p
£200 to £250 = 36p
etc...

That's what I do. but just to a max of maybe 54p.

Thanks everyone for your opinions and sharing your own experiences. I'm not a regular bonus player as you can probably tell!

I've chatted with Slotty and they've said:

A). I can forefeit bonus if I want to prior to hitting bonus funds.

B). I can change my stake at will upto £6.50 but if i stake more than £6.50 is somehow increases wagering - which indicates that its more of a soft limit but its moot as I wouldn't be going there anyway.

I'm going with the strategy of doubling up stakes every £50 - £100 if i get there, starting from 0.18. Based on recent performance of DOA (earlier wildline excluded) I think i'll bust out fairly quickly but I'll give it a bash!

Thanks again, appreciate all of your input.

stupid bonus if it was all tied in until you met wager,

But the site in question you can withdraw early if not touched bonus, Really its a 2nd chance offer and have nothing to lose, Whats best is that bonus contribution starts from the first spin so even if you did not even go in to bonus you still can make wager, Yes the wager is high but one of the best bonus strategies going if you ask me,

The only thing that hold you back is the max bet and maybe some games other wise its a win win

I agree. It took some encouragement here and clarification from Slotty to make me see that.

Current position: Balance is £73.46 (£50 bonus). DOA is being a bit shite (as predicted). Peak balance so far was £106.

Can't really complain seeing as its funded by my earlier wildline but could do with a bit more life in the old girl!

Its how Fri night goes down for people who like online slots and have long since passed the going out getting pissed stage!

I don't take a lot of bonuses and see you decided to take it anyway.

But in my opinion its a great bonus to take. Way to look at is forget the £50 bonus you receive and just look at it like you only have £50 deposit there. Play your normal games at normal stakes and if you win well before losing deposit amount then cash out and forfeit bonus.

If you lose and go into bonus amount then worry about wagering. But if you had not took the bonus your session would be over. That bonus now gives you longer playtime with chance of hitting it big.

So, I decided to go all or nothing and unsurprisingly hit the £50 bonus. Betat says that flowers was hot so played it out in that.

End result below.

Never mind!
