TBH I give to spain 30% chances to beat france even comparing player by player potential lineup I consider defense line slighty better than france, midfield similar cases I think Rodrigo + Pedri (isnt being his best performance comp...) has a better overall performance....but in forward line... No color except if Yamal has his best perfo. Of the competition.

Yes I agree sadly. Yamal needs to pull out one of his best performances in a Spain shirt. The French attacking options are just brutal. They are by far the best offensive team in this world cup.

Spain have been very strange imo, cutting through teams and making chances but not taking them.

France look like they can smash anyone with that attack and their defence is not shabby either.

Realistically England have a better team than Argentina but they both seem to be lucking their way through so it could go either way tbh.

I can still see either France/Spain winning it but it's one match and anything can happen.

Nope.
Argentina has a plan and all players know they have to pass the ball to Messi when there is a scoring opportunity. Something that Norway didnt do.
England are unbeatable this tournament but looking at the technical aspect they give opportunities to other teams. Argentina does not.
Argentina will not win but they won't say no if England lets them win.

We at last have a decent manager, unlike Southgate who made us play so defensively and not to our strengths, Tuchal is proven, tactically astute - case in point his substitutions have been on point. For example bringing on the Honey Monster that is Dan Burn to help protect our 3-2 lead against Mexico in the Azteca.

We have two genuinely world class players in Bellingham and Kane. All our other players either play in the arguably the best league in the world that is the Prem, or in top flight leagues in Europe, such as Germany and Spain.

Messi is still a superstar, but he is nowhere near as fast as he was in his prime.

I honestly expect Tuchal to put on a tactical masterclass tonight, pretty much in the same way Spain did last night against France,

A Spain vs England Final would be fitting. Representing the two best football leagues in the world.

Yesterday was amazing to see France completely choke against Spain, they almost seemed hypnotized playing right into Spain's hands. They seemed completely scared of Spain.

France just seemed to have spent all their energy playing 'heavy metal' football in the early matches and burnt out.

Spain are just ridiculously good at playing this style that looks so slow but is so precise and deadly whenever they want it to be. Slow and steady does seem like it's going to win the race.

Something that was interesting about the penalty is that I'm sure Baena(?) had a handball called when he controlled the ball against Belgium with exactly the same part of the shirt that Yamal did but the ref lady said that Yamal wasn't a handball because it hit the sleeve part of the shirt and that's allowed.

I find these referee commentators to be a waste of time because they always seem to say anything to support the decision. I would have thought it was more that Yamal arm was right near his body if the Baena one was handball.

It was hard to tell if France had burnt out or Spain just had them so worried that they couldn't play their game as usual.

The commentator mentioned that Spain had beaten them the last two times in tournaments but I don't think that could explain it.

Realistically Spain dominated but only scored one (great) goal as the penalty was a bit of a freak one.

Not one of the French attack was able to do anything. Considering Mbappe, Dembele, Olise and Barcola were all contributing in the previous matches it was surprising that they couldn't even score one.

Messi needs to score just 1 goal to overtake Mbappe, which is quite possible over 2 games, and for the others (except for Mbappe), then, it would be tough to catch up. Kane and Bellingham have 6 goals each. Either scoring 3-4 more goals doesn't seem likely.

Yep, England stopped playing football after the 1-0. A couple of defensive moves too from Tuchel... then when it's 1-2 he subs some attackers on again, in the 92nd minute

But what a game! First half barely had any chances yet it flew by, second half had everything for a neutral fan.
