The weird thing is is watched that 4th reel closely of course hoping for that 5th wild to land but it was awol on the reel.

i have had 5 extraspin after four days when I was playing and I was about 500 spin everyday. Unfortunately I did not get the wildline.
Other days instead I have to suffer to see 5 extraspin.
I don't know how they do those who take big win everyweek maybe play every day for a few weeks in a row.

Finally got an ok hit on the slot I vocally hate more than anything, just felt like playing it as I do on occasion and it paid out a few 20x straight away and then a bonus, sadly the 5 wilds didnt hit until the very last spin but I had the 4 wilds for about 8 spins so 1000x almost, not to bad.

Never had 3 wilds, had a few nice 2-300 x hits on it recently from the t-rex free spins, nice hit.

It's not your imagination. I've had plenty of three wilders on JP and the animation is different. There is a few different animations but basically T-Rex is behind the reels further away than on the 1-2 wilders so you know that atleast three wilds will come. I've never seen more than that so no idea if 4-5 wild reels will trigger yet a different animation.

I didn't think it was your imagination either gokkie, but I wouldn't have been able to explain why anywhere near as well as suomikala just did. I've only had 2 (maybe 3) occasions where I had 3 reels go wild on the T-Rex feature, but both (or all 3) times, T-Rex came into view from the left and you could only see the right hand side of his face. And it was more a case of his face "pointing diagonally at the reels" than a straight "sideways profile shot". To be honest, I only really caught onto that because I have had so few T-Rex appearances where he comes in from the left hand side. But then again, because it has only happened for me 3 times, I wasn't sure if it was just coincidence or if there was a genuine pattern where the animation gives you an immediate clue as to how many reels will turn wild.

But in light of what suomikala (well spotted and thanks for sharing btw ) said, I'm gonna be paying a bit more attention to this and try to spot the patterns.

There was one question I ought to ask suomikala, what graphics settings do you have JP set at? Basic, standard or enhanced?

It sure does. The thing that annoyed me was that I have played Pure Platinum at 32Red before, so I was expecting my "game state" from when I last played to be intact, so I just assumed that it was at 40p. But at the same time, I have to take responsibility for what really is a rookie mistake. I mean all I had to do was take under a second to glance at my betsize. How hard is that? Was I in THAT big a hurry?

Oh well...I suppose if it hadn't happened then, it might have happened another time

But anyhow, worst case scenario was probably that I cost myself a withdrawal of £200. I still walked off with £175 and a slightly smaller profit. It could have been worse, I could have done that same mistake on IR at £3 a spin
