I play a fair amount of stud - and keep hoping for a nice one like that!
I have had 4OAK before, and once had TWO straight flushes within 10-days of each other. Unfortunately niether had I done the bonus bet on, and one of them the dealer didn't qualify!
One day, one day...!

Am always afraid that if i dont bet the bonus and get a royal flush or straight flush this will hunt me for the rest of my life.I don't play a lot Stud poker as its generally a game that will clean you out especially with the -1 every time.

I was so excited about the Mummys on the top line, I didn't even notice the two aces when they rolled in!!! It was a very nice surprise to see the 5 on top of my win

Had a good run at Inter yesterday... I've not played there in ages and only chucked in fifty quid for the monthly match thing. Hit a load of features on various different machines that ultimately ended up with me getting that win up there. When the Crypto slots are good they're REALLY good, but when they're bad they're AWFUL!

Here's an interesting one. Not a massive win, but it's my best ever Lovebug feature result from a 2.25 bet, and it's what got me on my way to that win up there. I got three necklaces and a diamond ring, which meant 45 spins and all wins tripled. This beauty rolled in somewhere in the middle.

I hate that... What's the point of giving someone a free chip then restricting their winnings if they happen to beat the odds!?!? You give a free chip out to regular customers - ensuring they continue to feel good and stay loyal to your casino.

Limiting the winning potential would just make me never want to play there again... I mean, it's not as though it's *really* free after all, is it? They're only giving a tiny bit back of what you've spent/lost there - or trying to encourage winners back in... I can sort of understand a small wagering requirement, but to limit the winning potential takes all the fun and point out of playing in casinos in the first place.

Some online casinos have got it so wrong.

Either give out the free chips, and take it on the chin when 1% or whatever get lucky off it... Or don't. Don't half give it, only on the condition you don't actually win too much.

One casino chucks a few quid here and there into my account every now and again. The emails always say something along the lines of "I've deposited xxx into your account, no strings - just to say thanks for playing... Good luck!" I've cashed in reasonable sized amounts a couple of times off the free chips, but guess what - I've always gone back to play and lose there in the future. There's so much competition out there, and players are extremely fickle. That sort of nonsense behaviour just discourages any sort of player/casino loyalty being established.

Shouldn't be an issue. I experienced a software "glitch" and wasn't paid for a winning hand in blackjack when I played with the $20 free chip. They corrected the error and gave me an "un-restricted" $140 bonus to make things right. I won this with that bonus. I'm expecting to be paid the full $700, but one never really knows untill it makes it into your netellar account.

The win was accumulated in the bonus spins I won, not the screen pictured. As for slotsters point....it really doesn't apply in my case. I've never deposited there, it was a $20 welcome chip. I'm greatful to the casino for giving it to me and when I had a problem playing there the support was outstanding and very gracious to me. I have nothing to complain about what so ever. If they chose to hold me to the terms another poster here mentioned.....I will accept that too. No complaints at all here just a big smile

Hmm... I have mixed opinions really (This relates to both Get Minted and Virgin Games as they're almost identical in every respect).

I initially enjoyed them a lot, and spent a lot of time there! Then there was a mix up with a small deposit match where they got my accounts at the two casinos confused. It was all resolved, but kind of left a bad taste in my mouth, so I only pop in there when there's something a bit 'extra' to tempt me back To be fair, subsequently the customer service at both casinos have been excellent and very prompt.

Anyhow - onto the games! I spend as much time as possible in Las Vegas, and these slots are without question the closest to the real thing! The way they play, the sound effects, the features etc - identical in every respect to their real life equivalents. A lot of them keep you alive with small wins a lot longer than some of the MG/Crypto ones do too! The only downside being that the real BIG wins are much fewer and farther between than you get with Microgaming. For example, your average feature win is going to be something between 100-500 coins, which equates to not that much when you take the stake into account (In order for that to be pounds, you'd need be betting 45 a spin!! - It's not unusual though for a 2.25 stake to net you a few hundred quid on Spring Break, Thunderstruck etc etc..) It is really nice when the occasional five symbol wins line up like the one above though! Very similar to Crypto in the way the payout jumps enormously from four symbols to five. There's some nice little touches to the (non downloaded/flash) software too, like automatically adjusting your bet size if your credits deplete below the max, and skipping the intro movies/feature graphics if you minimise the window.

As for video poker - I really feel like it's the best place to play from a payout perspective. The graphics/gameplay are nowhere near the standard of Microgaming, and can be a bit choppy... I've only EVER won on video poker there though! Seriously, it seems to have excellent payback. Now I realise this is probably just me being lucky on the few times I've played, but Virgin is the only place I've hit a 4600 coin jackpot win (Five of a kind Joker Poker - see screenshot somewhere on this thread), despite playing at other video poker sites way way way way way WAY more. Lots of fours of a kind etc too... Strangely, I still don't play video poker that much - but that's because the slots always lure me back in

One final point on Get Minted too, is that they do offer very regular match/free chip bonuses etc... I seem to get emails almost weekly either matching my deposits or telling me I've got some free money to play with, hence why I ended up back there today! Very similar to Belle Rock in that regard, in that they seem very proactive with their marketing and keeping on top of their customer base. It's a bit unusual in that you have play the wagering requirements PRIOR to receiving the bonus back - but at least you know it's all yours when it arrives.

Ultimately, there's still not one casino out there to touch the fun of Microgaming - and the overall quality and performance of 32RED. There are however some pleasant enough diversions out there for when I fancy something a little different

I just hope that wasn't in a bonus account and you didn't deposit after they changed their terms and conditions. They're now forcing the bonus to be wagered 45x in the bonus account, & then the deposit and transferred funds to be wagered 45x in the real account

Bloody good job it was in my real account this time. The whole group have made this change. The need to wager in the real account for transfers is messy, as there is no tool to verify it, and 45x is taking the PISS!! This is getting back to the 'old days' with this lot and their 0..1% transfer rate. Also 'most games' is misleading. Show me a game that is not either 'Blackjack' 'Roulette' or 'A Poker game', listed anywhere other than under 'slots'. 45x on casino stud and 3 card is extracting the urine. I will have to rethink my positive position on this group. This change has not been announced, and it is pretty significant. I am not sure where the $200,000 in weekly prizes comes from either - perhaps they have changed something else.

You need to use a photo editor type program to resize the files. It's a pity you can't simply post the screenshot as it comes by default from Windows.
A cheap & cheerful one should come with Windows.
I have not seen definite guidance on what size file is needed.

I had the same problem when I tried posting screenshots.

Reduce size to about 70% and save as Jpeg.
Max file size is 100Kb I think (from memory!) - also only certain pixcels high & wide. The Meisters software tells you all the figures when your shot is too big!

KK, I tried to do this via page set up in paint (scaling option, adjust to 70%, and then tried adjust to 50%) and then saving it as a new file, but when I check the properties of the new file, it is still over 100kb, even though the original is only 127 or 138 kb. What am I missing??

I've just tried it in Paint. When I choose Image and Stretch/Skew and reduce the Stretch horizontal and vertical % to 50, and save as both a jpeg and a gif, I get 42kb and 72kb. Mind you, it's not a very nice picture but you could set it to 70% for the jpeg if you wish (80kb).

Oh yes I do (nearly) Bmp's are maxed at 102400 640x480. In fact, the max sizes for all files excluding gif, jpeg, and jpg are these dimensions. I'll change the bmp to 200k - but you should really convert these to gif or jpgs - they are much smaller in size.

I vote against increasing file size, especially for bmp which is non-compressible and at around 200K would still be barely bigger than a thumbnail. It's bad enough that we have to load entire pages of screenshots - imagine what it's like for a dial-up user... if anything, I would vote to keep filesize to 50K and dimensions no bigger than 400x300.

Nice!! Good going on the five scatters - that happened to me once on a $9 bet on Spring Break - I think the payout was $4500. Took me totally by surprise! Too bad my keyboard F-lock wasn't switched on - I took the screenshot, but it didn't work
