Guess I'm not a real man, Meister... but I bet you aren't either! :D Like Simmo said, no contest... decision was already made but I wanted to see what kind of reaction I'd get ;) I came up with the same numbers Simmo did... so 900x6 vs 1250x1 is absolutely silly.

A straight flush, I might have thought about it. A deuces royal, no way. 4 to the royal, might have tossed the lone deuce.

A real man would've tossed the Jack and Queen, gritted his teeth, and hit deal.

Man or a mouse?

Yea... I did that... real man... real big loser of a man! And don't expect a screenshot to prove my manhood, I threw it out the window along with the pc!

Mental note: Never listen to Meister when playing VP.

You need to drink a good beer while playing too. Did you try that?

Deuces royal EV: x45
4 to natural royal EV: x20

Is getting a natural royal worth chucking away 600 odd credits? 'cos that's what you'd basically be doing...

Probably not - but depending on the circumstances (ie. a second of madness) I might still do it. If I were playing for the "long run" scenario of course it's obvious I wouldn't do it.

This is a no-brainer. Of course all 5 cards must be held. Even if you got 4 deuces on one of those hands, your bankroll wouldnt have improved much, would ya. Likewise,if nothing crops up and you get 4 of a knind on all 4 hands, you lose much. And you are also right in discarding 2 cards for a straight flush since you dont have too much to lose anyway unless either one of the non-deuce cards is an ace, king, queen, jack or ten. This would be a tough decision.

Lol - well you only had a 1 in 12 chance of getting the Royal. So chucking that Deuces Pat Royal away 12 times to get your Royal, you'd be throwing 10,800 coins away to get 4,000 :)

CM: I thought we'd replaced that first meeting with the dinner

Nah, still a no-brainer. Keep 3 deuces for everything except wild royal or 5 of a kind 10s or higher.

Please explain to me the math, why is it 1/6?

Cheers,

Sorry, I forgot to put Simmo's quote in here, that's why this message appears 2 times :/

No problem Caliban....here goes in non-techie terms...

You were dealt 5 cards and you hold the 3 Deuces. So there's 47 cards left for the second deal and only one Deuce, but you have two turns (or chances) to get it on each line. So thats a 1 in 23.5 chance (we're calling it 1 in 24). You're playing "4" hands simultaneously so you have 4 x (1 in 24) chance of getting it, or put another way, 4 in 24. Or put another way, 1 in 6 :)

Each line has 47 cards left in a deck. You have 2 chances to get the last deuce out of 47. For 4 lines it's 2/47*4 = 8/47 or approximately 1/6.

Simmo beat me by split second but explanation is almost identical

Anyway to get back on topic...

Here's a winning screenshot from this dream i had last night.....as you can see I was down to my last $300 (actually it started as a nightmare!).

Anyway, its 32Red so i expect I'll see the money in NETeller when i close my eyes tonight :D

First of all you got your math wrong. Jackpot is 10000 * 9 * 0.10 * 4 = 36000.
Second of all you have to pray now for 32 Red not to close your fraudelent account :D

Damn... I've just poured hundreds into Thunderstruck trying to hit that baby!!! Wish someone would've told me it was only worth 36,000

I've not really, I've just poured hundreds into All Jackpots instead, taking my 50 signup and making it four figures.. then naturally losing it all again. I'll never learn :D

I see you were using Auto Play, Simmo, which is only allowed for small winnings and voids all jackpots, from what I read in my nightmare T&C's. Too bad. Better luck next dream! ;)

Bought in for $50, got the $150 bonus using the link on the site here.

Cashed out for $733 after $4000 WR. :) :)

This is perfect, as I'm 4 weeks from going to Vegas!

Ah! Spring Break, my favourite! Lovely hits

Shame that last Spring Break symbol didn't pop up one reel to give you the big one!! Never seen the five in a row, and I reckon I play that machine more than any other. There's been a couple of five beach partys around these parts though...

Damn - gonna have to go have a play now :D

EDIT: Oooh! And enjoy Vegas!! I'm probably a few months away and jealous! I highly recommend the Ballys "Wild Party" slots and the "Blazing Sevens"...

HI Everyone,

I went to a casino that gave the $16 free no deposit...I turned it into $425!! Was so fun! I was doing itty bitty bets too. My first win was $39 on 36 cents on Tally ho.
I lost it all though :o but still, I have not had any wins to brag about lately, so I was feeling kind of left out LOL

Thanks for the link slotchik!
