Been lucky past few days on freebies. Starluck gave me $5 which I turned into a $100 withdraw with Goanna Gold slots. Then I got a free $25 from Gonegambling at Platinum play which I turned into a $300 withdraw with Thunderstruck.

Then I did a $30 conversion at Gonegambling and hit the rams playing $.45 for $230 twice. Then got brave and upped my bet to $.90 and hit the following.

Just curious.

I notice you were only playing 2 coins instead of the full 5.

Does this effect anything in the results of the game?

Thanks

rJ

You do not have to make the max bet for max payout. They have bets ranging from .01 up to $1 up to 5 coins and 9 lines.

It is possible people playing higher denominations get a better return. There is a special high limit Thunderstruck that has .25 up to $2 bets.

Maybe someone else knows better.

Played this today whilst I was pissed and not my usual advantage player self.

Holy drunk doubles, Batman!!

If I ever get that "pissed" (I always think of the American definition of this word), I think I'd have alcohol poisoning and not even have the motor skills necessary to click the "double" button, much less the mental skills!

Good one!

Nice Royals!

I am thinking of doing something crazy for me. I am going to deposit $2000 half my gambling bankroll to try to get a Royal.

I want to do 4 play Microgaming JOB at $5 a turn.

Would try to do 10,000 deals for 40,000 hands.

What would be my expected losses at this. Is there a great chance of going bust doing this?

I'm not going to comment until you remove that Tally Ho fox from up there. I hate that damn slot, and want to knock that pipe out of his smug chops :D

Best of luck with the royal chasing!!!

I keep having a few half hearted attempts before the slots lure me back in. No joy yet. I'll be sure to post it here if it happens!!

Dont know where i read it or if im just making it up inside my crazy head, but 4play has higher variance than 1 play. You would be better off doing 1 play. If its about speed and time you can use the autoplay.

Maybe someone can run the variance for 1, 4, and 10 play for you.

I think the expected loss would be under $250, but the variance with VP is huge, so there's a very good chance of losing the $2000. Playing just one hand at a time does keep the variance a bit lower.

In general it's not a good idea to play VP with the aim of chasing a royal - I played casinos for 6 months, including a lot of VP, without hitting one. I've since had better luck, but it's something to look forward to as an occasional bonus rather than to base your strategy around.

If you want to chase a royal anyway but not risk quite so much money it might be worth playing at one of the Casino Action group of casinos - Music Hall, Aztec Riches, Nostalgia etc. - you can play MG JOB 4 play at max coins for as little as something like $0.40.

I had turned my $100 banroll into over $200 so decided to play some slots. Started at $5 and $10 spins and hit nothing. So decided that some good wins were on the way and did a few $25 ones... thankfully this highest non-jackpot win came in for $400!!

Thanks for the comments everyone on VP. I did try the JOB 4 play at music Hall awhile back. Autoplayed 80,000 hands at $.20 =)

Going to play poker this month and just play VP every once in awhile for fun. Good suggestion not to chase a Royal. Havn't recieved a Royal in Hold'em since Aug. My best hand was in Omaha. I had Ah 2h 6h 7h in the BB. Flop come 3h 4h Ax? Hit The 5h on the turn! Was able to get a nice 3/4 pot since someone else hit the low. I know a 7 straight doesn't count but was still fun to see.

How about them rapid fire jackpots?? Look what happened yesterday during my "lunch break" :D
Most excellent!
I play quite a lot of RF machines & keep hoping for that big one.

But why does the caption say 'You won a Jackpot of $1066.11' when the counter at the top shows the jackpot figure of $788.93???

How about this for a near miss

4royal.gif

Outside straight flush/royal flush draw on deuces wild and all i get is a SF and a poxy straight :(

typical! one night on multiline A&F's I was dealt back to back 4 to the royal, nothing! Aughhhh...but I guess it keeps us playing right? Keep the faith I have also just kept one ace and got the royal. You'll get it. Once in Vegas on 5 line DDB I was dealt the royal! Sweet.

Here's two good shots from a great run at Littlewoods. 10-play Deuces Wild yielded 2 lots of 4 deuces in one hit, followed shortly after by a Royal :) Started with 200 ($400), cashed out 1,500 ($3,000). Lovely jubbly.

Well, they ain't Royals, but I pulled another $100 out of Intercasino after starting with $20 ...

First one is a pat 3-line full house ... just had to make sure I held all the cards before hitting deal. :D

Second one (and right after the full house) was a pat 3 of a kind with Aces and I was praying for that fourth Ace.

Funny thing was when I went back to the same VP after pulling the $100 out, I got a different kind, almost like an older version.

Had an absolutely awesome few days at 32RED, and taken a load of screenshots that I'll plop up here when they're resized and stuff... No super huge wins, but really good hits and lots of em! Proper enjoyable.

Had to post this beauty that I just hit though.... Best casino in the world. Period.

Very Very NICE Slotster !!!!

:notworthy :notworthy

Cheers Rob! That's my biggest single win for a while.... Nowhere near your good lady's standards of course ;)

As well as a favourite casino, I've got a new favourite machine in Treasure nile now too!... Although Gopher Gold is running a close second :D

(You might notice on the last image that I realised 'resampling' images works better than 'resizing' them.. Doh!)

Here's mine at Golden Palace, I played about 25 500$ hands at War (going to war twice ) after winning some at blackjack.I started playing war with 800$.My biggest win so far, in fact my only big win.

Now,I'm just hoping they pay and they don't take a month or more ,having read some not so positive comments about them.

By the way, I'm starting to like video poker, what do you suggest as the best place to play?

Nice one Mut!

Your screenshot reminds me of a little thing that REALLY annoys me at most online casinos! *
The caption says You won $1000!
This is obviously bollocks! You bet $500 & won $500 the max bet at this game.
Why do they say this nonsense? It really irritates me!
By their logic, if youd lost the bet they could say You lost $0! Jeeeeze!
Does anyone else feel the same about this, or am I just a looney?? :p

Maybe Bryan could start a campaign to get the casinos to CUT IT OUT!

*Cryptos are the only ones I know of who dont do it.

The worst offenders are videopoker machines. You get a pair (or whatever pays 5 coins) and it says !!WIN!! In reality you get your 5 coins back! I find that very annoying indeed KK.
