In helping me to post my screenshots here:
Sorry I am not so computer literate but when I 'save as' in my paint program my only choices are 24 bit bitmap*bmp,*dib or 256 color bitmap or 16 color bitmap I see no other alternative. I would so love to put some of my screenshots in this post. Do I really need a different program? Or is there another way? Thanks.

Bryan, you should probably make it a max of 640x480 so at least it scales proportionally. 600x500 is really an oddball size for a screenshot. It can be done, but doesn't look great. I think 640x480 would be better and isn't far off (only 7200 pixels more) from what its set at now.

It's been done - the reason why it was an oddball shape is that anything much bigger than that will start pushing the edges of the forum out.

Yeah, you need another program. Paintshop pro is okay for saving images - but you can't resize them using this. I use Photoshop (very expensive) to do my work, but there are a number of other inexpensive shareware - or freeware programs that would do the trick. I would recommend Snagit

thanks CM for the info. I have looked at programs before, maybe not that one, and I got very confused. My son is a computer guy, I'll ask him to help. I got a 2K royal last week and would like to brag. I think I have more screen shots than Rob! Some day I will get them in this forum. This thread is very motivating.

Not sure I have this comment right. Perhaps tongue-in-cheek because you started the thread and have been an active participant in it for some time?

If this is not just a flippant remark, then I would urge Simmo to carry on with this excellent project on OGGS and not get discouraged by the mean spirited. The support being given here to this "brag thread" tells you how the members feel about it.

I think Simmo's site is fun to have a look at and harmless on the whole, but I'd feel a bit uncomfortable if a screenshot I posted on here was used on another site with a link to the casino in question next to it. It does strike me as advertising (though I've got no idea how the site works/whether any money's exchanged per click through to the casino etc.). Also, you sometimes get good wins at dodgy casinos & the less publicity they get the better!

Lol - yes i agree. Couple of points there: firstly, if you click the casino name next to a screenshot, it doesnt take you there, it filters the screenshots to show all those for that casino. I should probably make that clearer. I sometimes put a "casino website" link under a shot if its a casino i like and respect. Some are affiliate links, some aren't but i'd be more than happy to remove the links altogether if people felt it was not apt.

Finally, i'd never take any screenshots from this or any other site without getting the poster's approval first. It wouldn't be ethical nor would it be fair on Bryan or the webmaster hosting them. I even asked Bryan's permission before i posted the thread.

I suggest we balance things out by having a loser screenshots thread! What that means is people should take a screenshot when they start and one when their balance ends at zero so that we can see how much they lose and who has the biggest loss!

Just in case you've missed some of my previous posts - I think I've made it pretty clear I'm not just a 'bonus-junkie' - I play for the fun and excitement of gambling! The fact that I usually win is down to 10% money management, 10% WAG strategy, and 80% pure blind luck!

The idea of setting any game to autoplay and buggering off somewhere else does not feature in any of my activities - I'm paying for this entertainment and I intend to watch every spin of the reel, throw of the dice & turn of the card!
