I THOUGHT that the Wild Swarm feature was based on the average of the value of each bee collected, and not on the stake at the time you hit it.
Are you saying you think your win was based on your 4c stake?
Or was it just (yet another) totally crap feature on this price of shit game?

FYI: I had 2 wild swarms not long after it came out, realised it was garbage and have managed not to go near it since...

You can not even bet 4cent on Wild Swarm. It has fixed bets and minimum is 0.20p, So I got no idea why that person even said that, and @KasinoKing you should no that if you actually played the game as well :P

Okay. Hey. Maybe I'll give Wild Swarm a go again. It hasn't worked out great most of the time, but I'm having some good luck so why not just give it a shot? Right? No harm?

First off, just getting the damn thing maxed took HOURS. To be fair, one of the reasons was that I got the instant trigger in the pick me. Never got that before, and when I do it is of course two or three bees away from a maxed hive and at minimum stake. But no worries, it paid 50x and put my hive back at level 2. Perfect.

At this point it would be just silly to keep going, so that is of course what I did.

When I eventually reached the max level again I was actually 20 euro up on my starting balance. Amazing. So I raised my stake to 1 euro and dived in with no intention of stopping without triggering the swarm mode.

Bees were somewhat frequent for a while, and so were those supremely annoying teases where it looks like it's about to trigger and then doesn't. Hell, it even pretended to not be an irredeemable piece of shit by throwing in a couple of normal features that payed more than 20x.

It actually played something resembling okay for a while... but as bee number 25 dropped in to get my hopes up Wild Swarm suddenly remembered it was Wild Swarm and proceeded to rob me of 200 euro before bee 26 stumbled in to flip me off and then buzz off again.

Intentions to trigger the swarm mode be damned, I gave up when I was down to 100 euro. 64 bees had flown in to watch me suffer. Nothing. Just an endless parade of dead spins, crap features and chests that never payed more than 3x.

Went on to lose 90 euro more on Gold King. At least that one didn't need an entire evening to do so.

So there it is. 3447 spins and 500 euro lost to win less than 50.

It's a dirty, predatory garbage slot that's designed to make you raise your stakes to even have a slight chance of getting ahead, and even if you do you're lucky to break even. I've had a 8 or 9 swarm features at this point, and I've seen nothing that justifies how insanely hard this thing is to trigger.

tldr: Don't play this.

And just to end on a slightly more positive note, I turned the mind blowing swarm mode win into 200 euro on slots that suck less. Yay. Didn't even take me 3000 spins.

tbh it was your fault you played at a high stake for your balance yes £1 is a high stake if u have 600 euro on that game
because u should not expect those bees to pop the swarm that can take 1 in 200 bees if it wants
and then u changed to another game and came back on wild swarm at a stake u should have been playing at all along

Its not though - look at the bandits ridiculously high ramp upto 16 euros spin to take 20k win after loding it on small bests plus other examples on youtube. But - it can and does go both ways. Its just ridiculously high variance bonus.

I meant 0.40p then. Played in NOK so I just had a brain fart when converting.

As far as 1 euro being high for that game, yeah, I would agree. It eats your balance like it's nothing. But as long as I'm playing with leftovers after a withdrawal, I'd rather play "dumb" than risk hitting something huge on minimum bet. There's always the possibilty of getting it early and honestly I was in it to win actual money, not pocket change. But yes, I stayed on it too long and that's on me.

Wasn't the monetary loss that pissed me off the most anyway. It's just an awful slot.

... and yet in the end I would've busted if not for the swarm win it gave me, and the end result was another cashout. Thanks Wild Swarm! Let us never cross paths again!
 
Can anyone explain the mechanics of this game and how it passes audits?
I'm currently playing it and I'm fu**ing furious with its compensating behaviour.

2 days ago I started on this with a £180 balance, I put a few thousand spins through it to work up through the levels and collect every bee without any instant hive boosts.

I maxed out the hive about 90 minutes ago surprisingly ahead at £196. But since then I've played 1300 spins, watched another 60 bees enter the hive and I'm down at £96. Free spins bonuses are rare, instant bonuses are non existent and it feels like I'm playing a totally different slot that's seriously fu**king me over.

As it stands I need at least a 500x win via the Hive bonus when it does trigger just to break even and now I've invested so much in it I can't walk away.

That’s why I am reluctant to get involved with these type of games. I don’t care what anybody says when you know reel strip changes can take place it makes me highly suspicious of this mechanic.

Looking at it logically if everybody got the result they wanted after the initial outlay the game wouldn’t be profitable so there has to be something in there somewhere to stop this happening.

Anyway I hope you are one of the lucky ones and smash it for a good one when it triggers :thumbsup:.

I usually hate them as well as I've played enough Yggdrasil to know it never ends well.
But I was ahead for once and it was playing ok ,so I just carried on and collected a lot of bee's ,especially on level 4, to get the chance of the Swarm bonus.

It doesn't actually say on the Pay-table that the Swarm bonus will activate after no more than x amount of bee's on the max level but any rational thinking fair minded player would assume that it wouldn't take more than the previously collected level to activate.,
Max level should mean that the bonus is imminent, this beehive must be like the fucking Tardis inside.

I'm now over 70 bees past 'max level' ,1500 spins and £110 down.

Amen. It may be obvious to some, or all, I'm not BTG biggest fan, but I often blow the odd buck or 3 on donuts @ 5p , like the odd quid from SkyV prize machine etc. over the year its accumulated to a fair few spins (I still cannt believe, someone, somewhere, at some point in time, at least within this universe, said it can be a balance saver..lol) .

I've noticed what felt like the reel strips being different, and yeah, the one time i got the 50x multiplier (totalling 66x multi) . Nearly every spin gave the slow tease. and every, single, one, was for 1 line of 4oak 9s, or whatever the other lower symbols are.
Every other bonus I've had, which triggerd at around the 6-15x multi, shockingly, those lower end symbols never dropped in once (neither did almost anything else for that matter lol).
The result for the 66x multi of nearly every spin being 4oak of those pathetic symbols was about 70-80x.

Only ever popped the hive once. Was down about 400x on min stake, and it took about 80-90 bees (dont remember exact number)
Got lucky and got all my money back + like €5.
Ran and never looked back.
 
It took me over x1200 spins to activate the feature and got a quick x500 winner. Then I saw it took me to level 4 even though its my first trigger in that specific casino.
I decided to play and within an hour after being x157 down triggered the feature again and won x250.

I left for Casumo and remembered I had a full max there as well and triggered and another x800 win. I am done with this game though.

This video here shows the Bandit playing the slot from £0.2 a spin up to £100 a spin over a session trying to get it to trigger the bonus session. Takes a lot on the last max level. I suspect there is some kind of system designed to take an average spin cost across all your cumulative spins, which is then used to calculate the payout for the swarm mode.

This game plays completely different in max level. It's atrocious and painful. Never less than a thousand spins. You want to win 300x you bet buddy? You are going to loose 1000× before :).

I don't know what the matter with push gaming honestly. Tried their new shark crap. Jesusssss. 150$ down the.drain at 0.20$ a.spin without a win over 4$.

But you know... first time I l played wild swarm, it was at 40 cents a spin. The max level drained 300$ bankroll with 95% dead spins. I decided to bet my last 2$ for the last spin. Yep... 5600$ bonus. Completly insane screen full.of wilds and money signs. The programmers are evil.
 
I have a question about the Game.

During Free Spins i got a Pink Chest behind a existing wild (Bee) and it didn´t opened the Box.

Is this normal? Or a Bug? Please let me know if you know something or have a contact to Push Gaming if not correct.

I mean the chests are super rare....especially in the free Spins -so i feel kinda robbed.

Swarm bonus isn't a guarantee of a massive or even decent win. That's what going on. And even if it does pay, I'd say it's more likely to pay in the 500x - 700x range based on my own wins and the severe lack of 1000x + wins on youtube, which would still leave you fucked considering how much money you put into it. To put it in perspective, you would need to hit 15 500x wins at your current stake, without losing any more funds, just to break even. Wild Swarm won, so my friendly advice is to give up and move on.

On a serious note, you have to consider at some point how much money you're in the hole for, and how much it could potentially pay you back. I know it's easy to get carried away, but you were long past the point of any reasonable chance of even breaking even long before you hit the 3k mark.

tldr: it's a shit slot, don't play it.
 
Do what I did.....

Built up on 20p's over about 6 month's, giving it no more than a £5'er when in front from other slots / prior play.

Once full, wait (very) patiently till you get a wild line on DoA or a similar hit, then set yourself a small 'allowance' at a higher bet (£20-£25)

I got VERY lucky and first bee at a £1 spin (about 5-6 spins) set the swarm mode off for a nice 500x, incredible for a low roller like me.

Best part is, I have not returned since.

Yep it is also in my banned slot list too. I build it on 20p spins then just raise stake once I get to max level and then it takes disgusting amounts to then trigger the swarm feature. Usually resulting in hundreds and hundreds of loss. Then the feature ends up paying 100X or less most of the time. It just is not worth the pain and loss.

On a side-note: I would also actually be happy if the UKGC banned the slot or slots that had a similar mechanism like wild swarm. As it is just purely criminal really. I would not miss it at all. So please UKGC BAN THE SLOT NOW!

Just don't play it if you don't like it. I don't like Rhubarb, no need to ban it though.

The last thing you want is 'inviting' the UKGC into gambling as we've seen what they do even when univited - like a Vampire.

Yeah this slot is scummy. I'd even claim that the base game pays better (=robs you less) at the lower hive levels. Once you hit the max it's consistent drainage of your money. The chest will appear less frequently and when it does it's the usual 30x or less, a far cry from the 100x, 150x, 200x and 250x that you see at the lower levels. It's two different games.

At the moment I have the swarm maxed out on four different casinos, three of them at 52, 64 and 74 bees, respectively, and in the fourth I didn't count but it's most likely past 50 there as well. I mainly play very low stakes (0.20-1.00 euros) but I'm just getting ground to dust with the dead spins. I refuse to believe the base game at max level is anywhere near the announced 97,03%.
 
Amidst of my first ever self-imposed casino game ban (1 month) at my four most frequently-visited online casinos I'm now finding myself playing the Swarm with play money.

Got me thinking, what's the most you've won on this slot with the normal 7 spin bonus? For me I think it's in the 150x range.

I got the board full of dollar symbols the first time I played WS, 600x at 0.40 €. Another one time thing (so far) was getting five hives and 15 spins. It was @ 0.60 € and while I did get a nice 287x, it was a slow one, having to wait for the first bee till the fourth spin and being at 0.5x after 6/15. Also, no chests, what a bummer.

The slot has garnered quite a buzz in the streaming scene considering that pretty much no one ever seems to win even 1000x. Still, quite the hopium machine, this thing.

Now maxed out at a fifth casino, 75 bees and running. This slot (and this casino) is devouring me alive. Horrible run. Been such a horrible run at all games it feels as if they have a number to reach and a kill switch is on. ;(

Obviously should've kept out but ended up turning to another casino while having the self exclusion on at the other four. Woe is me...
