<div class="bbWrapper">Over the past couple of weeks I&#039;ve had the Wild Desire feature trigger 8 times on Immortal Romance.<br /> <br /> Of these 8, 1 paid £0.75, 1 paid £3.75 and 6 nothing at all! That&#039;s an average of 56p per trigger. I&#039;m feeling a little unlucky on this slot at the moment.<br /> <br /> Is this unusual or do others have similar experiences?<br /> <br /> Chris</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">It&#039;s a high variance slot, so that&#039;s not any kind of &quot;unusual&quot;.<br /> <br /> My own personal records on the Wild features (IR, TS2 and TFROL) would be:<br /> <br /> IR: 100x bet once<br /> <br /> TS2: 10x bet<br /> <br /> TFROL: 1000x bet once, besides that mega win I have been up to around 50x bet at max on this one.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Yeah it&#039;s completely normal.<br /> A lot of people despise the game because it can be such a bastard for paying nothing.<br /> <br /> (I think it was dunover that said - and he&#039;s spot on) for every big Wild Desire win you see posted here, there&#039;s probably 5000 that paid nothing, and so aren&#039;t posted.<br /> It&#039;s literally a lottery. <div class="bbWrapper">Perfectly normal. You have to expect to be disappointed a vast majority of the time. The variance on IR is very high, very volatile, incredibly streaky. I went nearly two years without ever getting a 3-reeler. Then I finally got one...and another two came along within a fortnight. Then I didn&#039;t get one for another 4 months. Then I got 3 within a month. And they all 5OAKed. In between those spells though, an absolute tonne of no win WDs.<br /> <br /> You have to remember that a 5-reel WD pays over 12,000x bet. <br /> <br /> But what that does is make it all the sweeter when you do nail one for a nice win. Just ask Valhalla (who is 100% right when he says it is literally a lottery). It was only a couple of months ago that he started a thread titled...<br /> <br /> &quot;Immortal Romance (taking the piss lately?)&quot;<br /> <br /> Now he&#039;s hitting 3-reeler WDs which are connecting for multiple 5OAKs for fun. It just goes to show how soon the tide can turn in your favour (or at your expense).<br /> <br /> Your time will come mate. Just keep plugging away.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Having a bit of a dry spell myself, however, to be fair I have made withdrawals more times than not the previous 6 months, must be close to £2000 up, and that&#039;s being conservative.<br /> <br /> Just a question of luck, when you catch it on a good day you&#039;re laughing, but when you have a bad session you sure as hell know about it. Had a starting balance of £70 not so long ago, played at 30p spins and didn&#039;t even hit a bonus round once. It happens, can&#039;t win (or lose) them all.</div>

It&#039;s the suspense.<br /> Microgaming hit upon a classic with Immortal Romance.<br /> If you ask me IR is the best online slot game ever made!<br /> The soundtrack is awesome etc. etc.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I had my third Wild Desire with 4 wild reels on Thursday and my second this year (see show me the money screenshots) and that was my biggest win from that feature so far. Coincidentally they were all within my first 200 spins and always on minimum bet.<br /> <br /> I&#039;m well ahead on this slot, and in the past couple of years I have had 5 wins over 1000x stake but I do only play it occasionally as it can be brutal 23 hours and 59 minutes a day.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">i too became despondent with this slot then out of the blue last week my first wild desire feature in an age came 5th reel wild 4th then 1st then 2nd managed to get decent symbol on middle reel to pay £1700 for 90p stake,would print screenie if i could work out how to do it,my opinion would be to not chase the big one just keep dipping in every now and then for a few spins</div>
