Won €144,000.00 on William Hill on a slot.

Been playing online slots for a good few years. My bets started at .10cent or .20 cent raising to €1/€2. Now it sits at a €5 a spin, sometimes a high bet - which is what leads to the win.

Joined William Hill a while ago but never did anything with it. Decided to log on last Saturday lodge €100, played a few of my favourite games from other sites, won nothing, lodged another 100, and played, won and got balance up to €1600, decided to play an other game, got the balance up to €4,300 and then hit free spins in the game and that's when it happened. Free spins won €144,000.00 on a €20 bet.

Flabbergasted is an understatement.

I decided to hold of withdrawing as I thought it was too good to be true. So left it till the next day, Sunday to withdraw.

Decided to look at their withdrawl limits before I did it as didn't want anything to hold it up. So withdrew within its guidelines, 6 transactions in total.

I got an email within a few hours asking for more information. Sent my ID, passport, and sent a copy of utility bill. They asked for document to calidate address, sent a different bill, they revered with the same again, so I sent my bank statement, they revered again. Long story short I wasn't reading the email correctly and they wanted a photo of my document not a PDF. My fault for not reading the whole email.

Got that sorted on 2nd Nov and to give them benefit of the doubt i will use this date as the start of the timer. Live chat advised that they were happy with the doc sent and i should get an emaul with details of the withdrawl. It is now 11th of Nov and nothing, no email, no funds. Nothing.

Been onto live chat a few times and get the same response, "it is with management for review". I have asked for a rough timeline and said they can't say. Asked "am i looking at a few days, a few weeks or months", response was yes. Well yes on what option. We can now take a few days out of the equation, seeing as it has been over a week since 2nd.

Anyone think I will get the funds?

You'll get the money if it's legit. They have to check everything first before letting that sort of money go out. It's a stressful time I agree, because most casinos don't keep you updated along the way and when you ask you get stock answers. What they should do in these situations is assign a contact to you who can keep you updated on the process, but this never happens because you're taking money out of the casino when they want it staying in circulation. Because of this they don't give a fuck about looking after such customers; they're happy to make them sweat.

As much as I hate William Hill they are a perfectly legit outfit and you shouldn't worry about the money being paid once they've gone through their required procedures.

I hope you spend the money on something nice. Don't get tempted to start spending it back 👍

Thanks.

Your so right about assigning someone and not getting an update. I think that is the worst part, the no update. As I said in my live chat to them, if it takes a month I don't mine, I don't want to rush it, but just an update would be nice.

Money will be spent on a holiday, future planning and all the boring stuff that makes life a little easier.

It shouldn't take a month at all, a week max, 10 days at the outside. Alas it seems you aren't in the UK where they would have to pay it all at once, not split into 6 w/d's. No matter how big or small, online casinos mostly seem to be very adept at quickly transforming a player's joy after winning big into doubt, delay and stress. If it's taking a whole week or more for a casino to verify with a supplier that a win is genuine then the system is wrong and needs time limits set by the various gambling authorities. With a game-spin ID code sent to the game supplier the next day say, it should take just a few hours for the supplier to verify it back and then the casino to release the funds to you.

While this process occurs your funds should NOT be reversed to your account (again withdrawals in UK cannot be reversed once actioned) but alas it seems the scummery and fuckery which was once used against players here after big wins is still being used in outside jurisidictions like Ireland. The leopard has been forced to change his spots here but not so elsewhere.

Congrats on the win and FFS don't play any of it back and give in to this chicanery!

Thing is as much as I agree to a point and hate Casumo's crazy OTT SoW policy, if every affiliate picked the bones out of every casinos short fallings they would basically have no business.

Things are that bad pretty much everywhere these days, not defending affys but they have to "Pick the best of a bad bunch" or find another source of income.

Another nail in the industries coffin IMO.

If you won’t play at these places yourself then don’t send other people there ffs

Fair point.

I tried to understand why they do as I tried to explain above but when its put as basic as that then really there is no argument to be had.

I did once have 200 sleeves of fags which I sold as a none smoker back in the day :p

What he needs is some ‘fast paying casinos’ eh Daz?

You wouldn’t get any of this skullduggery with some of those.

Here is one that is ‘hot’ and would never give you any bother when withdrawing!!

5 star rating as well.
I have an account with WillHill but don't promote them. And I went 18 months with them (Casumo) getting paid in minutes to hours (fast) before I had the SoW mess - they were one of my favourite casinos and I turned tens of k over while with them, so you can hardly point the finger and say I don't play where I promote. I have played at every single license I promote in at least one property under that license. As you well know, my issues came because being self-employed with about 70 different income sources that paid irregularly it was almost impossible to satisfy their request without breaching confidentiality. A NEW player (which I am advertising for FFS!) would not get a SoW for a while, most players never turn enough over to get one and even if they did it would be relatively straightforward if like most they had a single income source. And in normal circumstances as far as I'm aware they still process w/d's well within the 48 hours which back when I began in 2016 I regarded as 'fast'.

Finally, unlike most affiliate sites I have a section about KYC on my front page BEFORE you get down to the casino offers, including SoW info which if you weren't simply trying to stir you may have been balanced enough to provide alongside the selective image in your post:

sow.jpg

P.S. Just to remind people, this delay the OP mentions which is occurring right now is nothing to do with SoW anyway, more a big-win verification and the documents he mentions are standard KYC and have ALREADY been approved and are NOT the cause of his present delay.

Perhaps to keep matey happy I should add a bit to my front page about players winning big and then having delays for game verification:

"It's likely that if you win a subtantial amount for example exceeding £50,000 on slots, the game round will have to be checked before payment is sent to you, which can take a week to 10 days"

Then you can accuse me of 'seed planting' my visitors with big win possibilities via means of suggestion. An affiliate is always bad remember!

Back in 2016, 6 years ago BTW, what you regarded as ‘fast’ and the casumo then to the casumo now is completely different.

You clearly do not give a fuck about directing people there, advertising it as hot and rating it 5 stars despite knowing full well they are a complete joke of an outfit. Again fully aware that anybody that turns over money there will be subject to rediculous request just for ‘ your’ players to get their money out. Anybody with honesty and integrity would state this on the…… ahem ‘review’. I expect this from the likes of that slimeball chipmonkz but not from yourself.

This site is littered with casumo complaints, a thread of which just recently you were happy to laugh about taking the piss trying to get a withdrawal from.

Any educated player these days would not play at half of those sites on ur website or indeed this one.

Casumo and many of the sites you promote throw SOW at you for fun. We all know the reason why.

This has nothing to do with Hills, as despite running dog shit RTP they will pay you out.

Nothing to do with Hiills? Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't Hills appear in the thread title?

Anyway, you say you wouldn't play at half the sites I promote or CM promotes. Fair enough. But as affiliates we can only provide what's available in the current marketplace. As you know, we've lost some decent outfits in the last few years like Red Queen and Midaur for example and the choice is increasingly restricted as a result and on top of that regulation has reduced the player experience by removing autoplay, increasing costs so bonuses are mostly crap or limited in conversion, we all know the score.

Casumo was one of the best ever casinos IMO and I had a nightmare with their SoW although I did get through it eventually, the next time I gave up on them but I reiterate, I had had a huge turnover there so was flagged for detailed inspection because if you remember they had just been fined £5.3m by the UKGC IIRC for not being stringent enough, so it was a very risky affair for them and they had to be ultra-careful and still are.

Speaking of looking through the forum, get a handle on how many SoW issue threads there are from other operators - it's pretty problematic everywhere but unlike Casumo the others probably haven't been fined. They still have one of the best interfaces, cash-out times and great selection games and a UKGC license so I am happy to promote them. If it were ever proven that NO other casinos were running SoW as hard as Casumo do then they would be isolated and I wouldn't hesitate to remove them. But the issue is getting worse and aside from large UK bookies it's pretty endemic now.

An affiliate is effectively a retailer and yes, can choose which goods to put on their shelves so to speak, but cannot influence the overall quality and regulation of those goods, only react to them. Like any UK-facing affiliate I know the shelves aren't as well stocked as they used to be, the goods not of the same quality as before but I still have to bear this and keep operating in a manner that reflects that. It is what it is. Nothing more, nothing less. Same for us all.

I said it had nothing to do with hills as I was aware you don’t promote them and somebody replied to my post about you sending people there which I wasn’t suggesting.

It was about casumo. Now considered a laughing stock by most members on here and anybody slightly in the know. Which I realise isn’t your target audience.

Even casinomeister themselves had to change the rating and upgrade their review making sure people are aware of the fact that if you recycle a few deposits and withdrawals they’ll be asking you why you took a dump 5 years ago at your mates house.

I was merely pointing out that you are aware of this like most people on here are, but continue to give them a 5 star rating and label them as ‘hot’ which amazingly so are 99% of the other 100 casinos you continue to promote.

I know it isn’t your fault that the industry is a giant shit show but if you considered yourself honest and trustworthy and not like the other scum bags who put casinos up for fun without doing due diligence, then at least make your target audience aware of the casinos that take advantage of this fucked up situation we are in. Casumo (amongst others) is one of the worse offenders of this and you know it.

A general section about the fact you’ll need to produce KYC etc etc can be found in the T’s and C’s at the casinos anyway.

Just winds me up there are so many people out there promoting casinos that they wouldn’t dream of depositing at themselves.

I totally get why 6 years ago they were considered one of the best because they were and fair play for directing people back then. But ffs at least upgrade some reviews and ratings when you know that is no longer the case.

Anyway, to get back to the OP I hope they get their money. I’m sure they’ll make you jump through hoops but I’m confident he/she will get it.
Thx for everything you said in that thread. You made me get back a bit of faith in humanity.

The biggest surprise to me is WHills gonzo quest has a 90.71% rtp! I bet their bean counters are thinking fuck me we need an 80% version!

Musical interlude for the payout  :p

Lower RTP versions have bigger wins than normal so that players remember the big win and think about it while the eternal dead spins are running. Even if they lose all the time they keep going back because they remember that one time they hit their biggest win etc. High rtp models they spin faster and have more small wins making you wager more without hitting more.

For most slots the opposite is true, lower rtp versions most often leave the basegame as close to the higher rtp versions as possible.
You shave the rtp by making the bigger hits more rare, that way the average player will never notice a difference because the basegame plays the same and those big wins are super rare anyway so not getting them wont feel like anything out of the ordinary.

Doing the opposite and instead shaving away rtp from the basegame would make it really noticeable that you were playing a version with a lower rtp and make people more likely to stop playing.
