Ages ago in the 'When are RIVAL going to fix these Bugs' thread I made some suggestions about their autoplay.
This has been totally ignored by Rival - no comment has been made.

So I thought "Lets have a vote on it!"

This is what I don't like & want changed - do you agree?

1. (Serious); I want autoplay to stop when free-spins are hit and have a 'Start Free-Spins' button (which you do get in manual play) instead of just carrying on without the slightest of breaks! I rate this as serious because it seriously spoils my playing enjoyment.

2. No "Stop autoplay on any win above ..." I want to set it up so that if I hit a biggie it stops so I can enjoy the win & maybe take a screenshot! ;)

3. You have to keep your mouse pointer over the button to keep the "Spins Completed" window in view - why can't it just sit there permanently? And the "Spins Completed" window is far too big & encroaches on the reels.

4. You can't use autoplay in fun mode... Why the hell not??? :what:

5. The number of spins slider is too sensitive = difficult to set the number you want.

Thanks in advance for voting!

You forgot a couple more annoying Rival "features" in fun mode - you know, the one where it tells you that you've made another 100 spins, do you want to play for real money?

Or when it triggers a win above $X, it tells you it's your lucky day and also asks again if you want to play for real money. I thought only rogues such as most playtech casinos worked like that....

Interesting poll.

I'll keep an eye on this and pass it onto the developers once there's enough votes to get a good idea of the most common/popular request.

Rival listen to suggestions from operators and are very responsive (We've had quite a lot made since opening), so hopefully we can get some changes made for the better here.

The Free spin issue is my biggest pet peeve. I always have to stop the auto when it hits because if I get a good hit on Scary Rich - I want a screen shot.

I have alerted the Development department about this thread. They will be monitoring it.

I was told that they are completely revamping the Autoplay feature and will be including new features, many of which are already listed here. Although they did not give me a time line, they are hoping it will be available before the end of the new year.

I agree completely!

I use autoplay most of the time, actually. I hate that 'Free Spins' doesn't stop the reels :( Especially when I have to take a bathroom break and don't get to see the free spins happen. (And, sometimes I don't want to with that $7 win on a $2 bet).

So, I'd like to see:

1. Stoppage option for freespins
2. freespins numbers (i.e., 20 out of 50 spins completed) up always
3. NEEDS to be a stop on amount (i.e., sotp on a win of $100 or more).. that's pretty crappy that it's not there.

I don't care for the 'stop on any win' checkbox. That seems fairly useless, IMO.

Anyway... now I will vote :)

Although I don't play at Rival, one crucial thing is missing, RESPONSIBLE GAMBLING, and having a "stop when balance falls by..." option to prevent players busting out on an abnormally dry run, or if making a silly mistake with selecting bet size.

Rival are NOT the only "bad boys" in this respect.

Microgaming are FAR WORSE, as they ONCE had this option, and they REMOVED IT:mad: with all new slot releases after Thunderstruck. Clearly, casinos make more from autoplay when players cannot set a stop-loss, however, setting a stop-loss amount is one of the MAIN PRICIPLES of "responsible gambling".

So Rival, while you are at it, steal some of the moral high ground from Microgaming, you certainly need some positive PR at the moment;)

Rival already has this, I believe.

It's called... Stop when balance increases/decreases by...

Isn't that what you are looking for? It still has the stupid slider, but would allow you to say 'stop when I lose $50'.

I'd like to see autoplay for more non-slot games. For example, Microgaming and Cryptologic have blackjack autoplay with programmable strategy tables (Crypto is new, on European BJ). It would be great if Rival had this feature too. It would also be nice to see autoplay stats, showing various statistical measures from the autoplay session. A programmable interface with more options would also be helpful, which could incorporate some of KK's suggestions. A user might specify that autoplay stops when a win is > than ###.
