Weird, somebody put the decimal in the wrong place in the code. I thought for a minute that Jackpot Factory game me a REALLY nice bonus for depositing a measly $40.
Alas, no....

That was weird to see, but not uncommon, i know that feeling too, i deposited 60.00 once and the rep. by mistake added some extra 00.00, looked in my account and had 6k:eek:, but honesty over came me and i contacted them and as fast as you can say 6 thousand, it was back down to the mere 60.00 bucks:D.........laurie

Damn this honesty lark:D

I once deposited 2000 by Neteller, and it had a problem. I complained, and in the end TWO different departments BOTH corrected this error, and I got my 2000 TWICE.

I had one HELL of a job getting them to take BACK the extra 2000 though, they just kept on insisting it WAS mine, telling me I could play, but in the end someone took a proper look, and saw what had gone wrong and corrected it.

I expect CASINOS to be equally honest when they spot that a PLAYER has not noticed that a transaction has been debited, but not credited to their casino account. I believe most casinos do an audit every now & then, and this is when such things are spotted.

I once had a casino contact me out of the blue to tell me that an audit had spotted a 50 deposit that never made it into my account. I could not believe I had missed it:eek: I am normally so meticulous in such matters;)
Having said this, not as meticulous as Kasino King:) I just note down pending withdrawals till I get them, and note any deposits attempted, but unresolved. I also note my lifetime position at all casinos I have ever played.

@Laurie - I never did have the $4K (too bad - I might have played a little high roller before I noticed the mistake! ;)) it's just prob with the bank display - if you look at the top right you can see the actual credits. It's a new banking interface I noticed, they should fix it PDQ.

I recently had an issue like this with eWalletXpress - it wasn't a $2K mistake, it was like $40 - I had deposited into EWX by instant deposit, then deposited into a casino and lost it. A few days later I get a mail from EWX saying my deposit had cleared. I thought the email was a mistake so didn't even look at the account. Next time I went to use it there was money sitting there, I checked my bank and they hadn't taken it twice. I contacted support and told them about it and they said basically "Nope we don't make mistakes, if the money's there it's because you put it there." I argued with them but they said it was mine. So I saved the chat and spent the money! :D

oh yeah and twice now I've had a pending withdrawal at iNetBet and reversed part of it just as they were cashing me out. I contacted them both times, the first time they let me keep it, the second time they took it back.

My cell phone provider cocked up when I first joined a plan from being a long time pay-as-you-go customer. My first bill included a charge for a $400 deposit, which was not required. I contacted them, was told it would be corrected.

But it was not. Contacted them again, and the $400, was credited twice...once as a credit card payment, and once as a reversal.

I had the damned time convincing them I had not made a credit card payment, and that I did not have a $400 credit on my bill.

Finally, I said "How many customers spend over 2 hours with various reps trying to give you back $400? I am not mistaken. Take it to a supervisor, and see what they can give me compensation for my time in resolving their error." I got free long distance for 3 months...they would have given me more extras, but most were already in my plan.

Honesty is the best policy...besides, they will find out eventually and come and hunt you down.

That wasn't included in your plan?? Didn't know phones in Ol' Maple Country didn't have free LD on cellphones... You won't find one plan in the states that doesn't... lol

Oh, the good ole US of A get such superior deals on cellphone, internet, cable and satellite service.

My daughter worked a call centre for a cell phone provider, made me so jealous of the packages their customers got. But she was the one that tipped me off to ask for a freebie, that the rep could do that.

A few years ago my mom got a tax refund check from Canada Revenue for something in the neighborhood of $4500. She called them and said "uh I think this is a mistake - I'm supposed to be getting $450." I'm paraphrasing here, but they said something like "We don't make mistakes, we're the government!" (heh) So she deposited the check in a separate account and within a couple of months she got a notice from them saying that she owed them $4K and change - so lucky she didn't just spend it or else she'd have been trying to borrow it from me! :eek2:

Hmmm does KK also note down the angle of his chair alignment in relationship to the rooms barometric pressure and other important data like that, does he?

Cheers

I wouldn't put it past him:D

He has posted some of his notes here, and he details play on each game, how many spins, and net win/loss. It is how he verifies his system of profiting from being a low roller, and looking out for the best regular promotions.

I hit auto-spin and nod off. And even then I can't remember what the hell I was dreaming.
