When they're not hitting, how often do you salvage a session?

So this is something I'm always noticing anymore and that's how it seems slots are either on or off by the day and it doesn't matter what game I play on whatever casino I'm on at the moment.

I find that when I am burning my bankroll and get down to the nitty gritty, nothin hardly salvages it. Like in my mind I'd think well if these games aren't hitting then one of them have to be and it's amazing because it doesn't matter what game, nothin brings me back.

But then when I'm having a good session it seems all games are hitting in ways, like I can go to any game and boom just keep building.

What about for you guys? When you have a bad session how often does it turn around?

it seems like my play generally goes one of 2 ways.
can't hit for sh!t and I bust out rather quickly
or I'm up for 2 to 4 days playing

Yea pretty much. Thats what is weird to me when I go to a handful of games and it's like they're identical. But then days when it's on Its the opposite, it's like every game is hitting.

Just yesterday on small rolling, Got hammered at 50p a spin down to last 1.60 then took £144 bonus round of vikings runcraft.
Biggest rescue was 6p left, dropped lines to 6p to 0 it on the older type secrets of the stones, bonus round 12.30, stake back to 50p all lines 30 min later after 3 quick back to back bonus rounds and a first spin bonus round with plenty of strawberries on reel rush withdrew 830

Well, playing exclusively high variance games means that most sessions are flatlined anyway, but on those occasions you do get a good hit it can propel your session, and give you a certain safety net to try other games :D

I've switched games with a good balance and been pummeled, and other times every game plays pretty well. It may be coincidence but opening untried, new games seems to work better than constantly sticking to the same ones, funnily enough. Or returning to an older game after months/ years.....

I have salvaged many sessions though, namely on the likes of DOA, Bonanza etc. Or when losing badly I's switch to a 9-liner and build my balance right back up.

On the whole though, it's extremely rare....but great when it happens

played last night.
couldn't do anything right. never got past my initial deposit. Super bummer session.

last week I was up for 4 days straight..couldn't lose if I tried.

it does always to me seem random.
I just wish most deppos gave me the long playtime

I'm a low roller and for me it definitely goes day by day. Usually what happens is I'm out of funds within 10 minutes of starting - or 4 hours later I'm still playing (and often with a decent balance).

For example, this last week I've deposited & played Book of Dead every day. Last Monday, lasted 5-10 minutes, same every day until Saturday - played for hours and withdrew. Played again Sunday
just 'to see' if it would continue , played again for about 5 hours getting almost endless wins id never even had before. Tried once more today, bang, back to normal - zero in less than 10 minutes.

Its rare I rescue a sesssion to be honest - most recent I can think of is getting down to 30p and getting 5 books/wilds on book of dead, after it had given me very little the previous 10 minutes or so.
Usually its all or nothing for me! :)

I remember getting down to my last 50p after losing £1000 on Mr. Green, books arrived on BOD, long story short just could not lose on anything, cashed £2000.

I'm enjoying my medium variance sessions more these days, older Microgaming still worth a punt.

I usually resort to blackjack if I'm getting hammered on slots. Pinch a few winning hands in a row and all my slot loss worries simply melt away...

Wow really? That's cool to hear.. Any time I've played Blackjack I just feel the house gets 21 on almost every other flip, so I've steered away.

It definitely goes day by day.The patterns are so regular.Like I have said before there is someway the system and or server can be overridden. There is no way you are on a level playing field everyday. It is even more apparent on FOBTS(you couldn't fail to notice on these)because their swing is even more dramatic( for example 1 day they can pay out 300% but the next 10 they pay out 20%).Online the swing isn't anywhere near that dramatic but if your tuned in you still can't fail to see how it works.I am not saying casinos are breaking any rules. It may well be that they can do this as long as the rtp balances at certain points and even then we have already established why rtps are ambiguous to say the least.

I recently got a nice win and after that its been dead for me on slots.. :eek2::(
Tried 5-6 diff casinos and lots of diff slots.
The deposits just melted away with very little play. :(

Today it started the same, but finaly managed to get some small hits and made a withdrawal.

Probably wise the edge becomes more obvious with this type of game as there are less ways to dress up the wolf.Ask yourself this if you could rescue your slot loss every time by playing blackjack wouldn't you pack in slots and make a living playing that instead.

Yesterday I signed up to Cashmio and deposited £50 with a £2500 play through for the £50 bonus. Ended up down to my last £2 after being bashed by the Rhino and Sakura Misfortune. Bonanza saved me with a 585X (£117)feature a few spins in at 20p a go. After that I couldn't go wrong: a 200X on Zeus3 20 spins in , back on Bonanza at 60p spins where I had a 320x cascade and plenty of features, everyone paying over 50x with a best of 340x. Wagering almost complete and I went on Jungle Spirit and with my first 7 spins had the firefly bonus twice and the feature drop in which cleared my WR.
End result £470 withdrawn and a sigh of relief!
I've had experiences before like this after signing up to a new casino, my first and best was at Rizk last year after a couple of years abstinence, where I cashed out £1420 after a £50 deposit with a £4500 play through but conversely I've also had days where I can't hit a barn door at 20 paces.
I just put it down to being on the right slot at the right time and knowing when to resist another click on the "deposit now" button....

Yeah you'll always lose at BJ overall, I'm not for one second trying to say the game is beatable, but at 99.5% or thereabouts it's as good an option as any if you're trying to chase losses or quickly bump your funds up a bit. Sometimes if I don't fancy playing 200+ spins on average to get a bonus feature I play blackjack instead, especially if my deposit is almost gone, to try and spin it back up really quickly. Only works when I win though!

These occurrences happen far to often for it to be coincidence especially first deposits etc.Its the start of your journey they give you the vehicle all you have to do is steer it and you feel your driving like a demon.Reality tells me however the car is on autopilot and they have the sat nav and when it's time you will reach your destination.

I'm not to one say slots are rigged, it's just......take the other day....:p

After some heroic exploits on Bonanza (see: Bonanza thread) I thought I'd attempt to replicate the same outcome, or as close to it as possible. You know, try and break convention and maybe have consecutive winning sessions.

So there I go, small deposit, fair amount of gameplay, bust.

Redeposit.

Redeposit.

Redeposit.

Stop redepositing because the games are flatlining, nowhere near like before. Not even just below par but terrible, like in 'recoup' mode.

I won't mention the game (Karaoke Party) but it's the same guff every time. Thankfully it didn't dent my glorious escapades of the other day but still did enough to reaffirm my beliefs. All one can do is hope to be there at the right time of the slot's payout cycle, but as for 'random'? Well.....

Completely agree!!!!

That is the exact thing that has been happening at Ignition Casino to me. It seems like it is on purpose, as since January 1, 2018...I have gone on live chat or telephone with customer service to ask when the last time my balance got up to $100, or to complain about how the slots have become un-fun cause you lose so fast all the time. After that, three times the next time I played I won a few hundred and would withdraw.
