I just listened to the latest CM webcast and was amazed to hear that your houseguest "friend" burned through a couple grand using your VISA card. OMFG! talk about abusing your host.

will this friend be house-sitting in the future?

was this friend from France?

will this friend be making good and then some?

not necessarily any of my business but now I'm actually more curious about this stuff than whatever excuse Fortune Lounge comes up for why they allowed this to happen.

The cvc number only consists of 3 digits so there are 999 possible combinations. I guess that it can be cracked fairly easily unless the casino has some secutiry guards to prevent players from typing the wrong combination more than 3 times.

Wouldn't it be 1,000 combos, including 000?

listen to the webcast. it sounds like the casino just didn't even bother to verify the cvc number and just accepted the deposit in this case.

Just listened....crazy sh!t.

Along with the police report, you might want to include a reciept from your trip showing you were gone ;)

By the way, it's more than grand theft. It's CC fraud...quite more serious.
